Re: Adascopolis

Claramay looked at him for a few moments and then turned her attention to the droid. She smiled at him, even though she knew he was simply a machine and probably didn't care. Either way, she wanted to be kind to everyone, to some how repay what Ignatious was doing for her. She nodded.

I probably should.

She said, and set off after the droid, still with a smile of pleasant shock on her face.

Re: Adascopolis

"Would you show the lady the bathroom please C4?"

-C4-
"Yes master!"

*C4 leads with clanking steps on the marble floor down a corridor. There is only one door on the end of said corridor, and the lamp before the door is dead, making the dooe a bit dark feeling. The droid sighs.*

-C4-
"Oh, a disfunctioning Lamp. I will fix it in a moment. Please, go in, the light inside will automatically set on."

*he clanks off from the corridor, surely walking off to find the tools to fix the lamp. Oppening the door, sheer darkness would find her. A step inside would be worse... The room is actually not a room but a 2m fall down onto a smelly, old matrass in a caged cell about 2m times 2m. Its pure dark, and there is only two buckets in it. One with cold smelly water, and an other is empty. And no lamps will activate...*

Re: Adascopolis

Claramay nodded with a thin smile at the droid's need to fix the light bulb. it was slightly amusing, and she giggled softly as she turned, and opened the door. She took one within the room, then another. A shrill cry could be heard from behind the door as the young Morganian woman fell quite unexpectedly down a darkened drop into a rather unpleasant place. Her eyes saw nothing what so ever and so, she began to panic.

Hello!? ... Hello?... mister Ignatius?... I ... i think your droid led me to the wrong .... the wrong place.

She paused, and whimpered a few times as she hugged her knees to her chest. She wished she could at least see something, and get a point on where she was. Her happy mood dwindled almost at once

Re: Adascopolis

*All she would see for the coming five hours, would be the droid coming back, and slamming the door she walked in past to her demise, leaveing her in total darkness, listening to the rats moving around in the basement. For five long hours. Her new home is surrounded on three sides by brickwork wall, and the durasteel cage door on the final side, only entry and exit. The floor and walls are cold and slightly wet. Surely the humidity in the air condensing on the walls, making it even colder. The matrass sucks upp this humidity, and makes it a prime location for bacteria to make a bad sour smelling odor. If she tries a short exploration, the two buckets will be clear, one with the water, and one witch is empty. The empty one is rather clear why it is there...

for five, cold, wet, dark hours...*

Re: Adascopolis

Claramay was afraid now... after the first hour and a half her warm happy heart began to fear that no one would come for her. Perhaps the other had forgotten about her... perhaps he had wanted this to happen to her. but no..he was such a nice man. She sat there, for at least another hour now, with her legs wrapped tightly within her arms, making her self as small as possible. After that time she finally moved. Her body was stiff from not moving for so long, and thus, in the pitch blackness she began to search out the room, finding the cold flooring, walls, and steel door. She almost tripped over the buckets, and flinched when she stuck her fingers in the chill water. She recoiled and found herself back on the soggy mattress. She had gotten use to the smell, however upon sitting upon it again, the odder was stirred up once more and she wrinkled her nose up again.

It took quite a while for tears to fall from her blue eyes and stream down her white face. She curled back up and hugged herself, whimpering softly. She had no clue how long she had been there. Had it been hours?... well yes... it had to be, but her mind traveled father. Days? perhaps....even weeks.... yes... she had been here a very long time... considering she couldn't see any light or any way to track time, her overactive mind drifted to horrid situations she could find herself in. She would die here... rot away, become nothing.... starve to death possibly.....This caused her whimpering to become sobs that cut through her like a knife. The chill had raddled her bones and so, she sobbed forcefully, and shivered violently within the dark, dank room.

Maybe she had gone blind.... Maybe her eyes had been poked out of her face... Maybe she would never see again, never breath again, never live again.. Maybe this .... was... death....

Re: Adascopolis

*She might just be right. She was watched, most of the time. There was a camera right outside her cell, watching every inch of a centimeter of the cell. Iggy sat most of his time there now, either planning and ordering C4, witch is actually the central computer, controlling several remote controlled droids. It was building Claramay-s Kill room. The last room she will ever see, and where she will scream and after a while not scream anymore.

It was the transition between the part where the victim screams, and just stops screaming receaving the same stimuli... Because if one understands what is lost between the two simmiliar inputs of stimuli, one might just have a glimps of the sould, and through the soul, into god.

And Ignatius wanted to meet god.

As the five hours have gone, he decided to start the next movement. He pressed a buttong, and now watched his new playthings reactions.

-*-

Suddenly, the darkness was filled with light, a holoprojector shone up with strong green light, letting Claramay understand that where she is, is actually just a hall with a cage, a door ending about 5m from the cage. Between the door and her bars were a large holo projector.
This holo projector showed a naked man hanging from high. The projector didnt show lower then his knees, or higher then his elbows. He was shaking his head to something and begging...*

-Projection-
"Please master! Master No! I did what you asked me master! No! NOOOOO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

*The Screaming started when Ignatius stepped into the picture wielding a plasma torch. And now, Claramay could clearly see how the nice elderly man smiled as he started to melt through the mans left upper tight. Cutting into living flesh, as the man screamed from the incredible pain.*

Re: Adascopolis

Claramay's eyes blinked and squinted slightly as the light blinded her after five hours. The light would find her curled up in a fetal position in the middle of the nasty bed shivering from the cold. Lifting her head slightly she ran her fingers through her red hair, the feel of it already seaming oily and unclean. She blinked several times as she looked around the small room, and realized that she could now see out of it. Walking to the bars she gripped them with her small white hands and peered out at the holographic image.

Her hopeful face, at seeing light, and thinking that perhaps the other had come back to her, soon fell to horror as she saw what was happening to the tormented man. Was this a part of a movie?... or was this reality?... and if so... would that soon happen to her?

She was starting to think twice about hopping into that limo but it meant nothing now.. she felt a pit form in her stomach and grow larger each time the man screamed. She would be kept here... and would die here.... and inbetween she would be tormented .... Tears streamed down her white face as she began to frantically pull at the bars, thrashing around in some mad frenzy.

Let me out of here! YOU CAN"T KEEP ME HERE! LET ME FREE!

She screamed, foolishly hoping that he would comply before the horrid torment would begin. She still had no clue how long she had been here.... and yet, it wasn't like anyone would miss her....

Re: Adascopolis

*He smiled.

She was ready.

He didnt have to show the rest of the "home family movies" he had. He couldnt. He watned to start working on her, experiment with her reactions, her will... and finally find that little spark, maybe this time he would find it, and tame it.

Tame her soul!

He got out of his controllroom, and into his "tool shed" witch was a large room with devices and tools This time, he took the stun pike, witch worked more like a long cattleprod, and two cuffs. He walked through the corridors, getting where Claramay had walked to get to the "bathroom" and then fell down. Suddenly, the door would oppen. As it oppens, he also presses the remote to deactivate the holofeed. There would not be any darkness, the light right before the door, witch was misterously missfunctioning when the girl walked in was now funktioning, and rather strongly too.
That is why Claramay could only see the contures of a man standing over her in the oppen door, with something long in his hand. Ignatius lowered the cattleprod to the girl, and aimed her in... then when he was about a couple feet away, he thrusted it forwards, aiming to hit here anywhere on the body but her head, and jolt her with a strong hit of electricity... Then pull back the prod.
He would throw down one of the cuffs, and then speak.*

"it puts the cuffs on its legs, or it gets the prod again"

*A line from one of his horror movies, a klishé for sure, but being in this situation, one might just not realise the fun in it... well, if your not ignatius of course.*

Re: Adascopolis

Claramay blinked slightly as she heard a sound, and turned around sharply, being caught fully in the face by the blinding light of the opened door. She gasped, and looked up to see a shadowy figure out against the light, holding a long pointed staff like thing. For some reason this brought fright to flutter in her spirit, and before she could think straight, or gather what was happening, she felt it, a rapid burning sensation rip its way through her body. Her face contorted in pain and a scream erupted from her being as she jolted, and leaped backwards, almost falling within one of the buckets of water. Tears sprung from her eyes and she lowered her head, twitching slightly.

She jolted as she heard the clinging sound of metal hitting the floor. Looking down she saw a round peace of metal, and then heard his voice. With a thin nod, and tears still streaming down her face she stooped, careful to keep her eyes on the man, and his 'tool' as she piked up the cuffs, and clasped them to her legs. She did not know what he was going to do with her, but she knew that it would not be pleasant at all...It frightened her, and now... she just wanted to go home.

Re: Adascopolis

"Good... Gooood. I see we will be friends."

*He said as he pulled the cattleprod back, and closed the door. Darkness stroke again, like an old friend, wisiting once a year. You dont know what he will bring.

Nothing happened for an other hour.

Long, cold hour. Iggy liked it that way. Boredom never seemed to catch his victims under these hours, and he didnt fully understand this. If nothing happens, one is bored. that is how he sees it. He IS a psychopath... feelings like fear or unscertenity was never something he held close to his mind, or came by itself.

When finally he would apear, he brushed his teeth with a harmless but faintly glowing substance, for dramatics, and stanked down into the cellar, and sneaked down the hall.

There is a feeling in the darkness, when you are not alone anymore. When you cant see, your other senses widen. And no, its not hearing, nor smell that is of interest here, but touch. Somehow, you feel in the air that someone else is with you. Some call it sixth sense, some force, some others call it change in the room air movement.

When he grinned, about a meter from Clamentines grate, she would be sure she is not alone. She would stare at blue glowing teeth in the darkness, faintly glowing, but in that darkness, it could likewise be the sun itself.*

Re: Adascopolis

    {Adascopolis Bioengineering & Advancements, Arkanian Dragon Gene Manipulation, Deep Beneath Adascopolis}

*It was a cold day in Adascopolis, a blizzard high in the mountains bringing in a cold front, but this was not felt by the scientists deep beneath the city. Many of the research centers were located either deep within mountains, or below the ground, due to the dangerous experiments that were usually run. Should an experiment go wrong, thw contamination would not reach the people, instead being buried underground until the life of the planet had ceased. One such experiment was in progress, although the dangers did not lie in chemicals or gasses. This experiment dealt with gene manipulation, something the Arkanians constantly toyed with. They were studying, and manipulating, the genes of a local creature on the planet, Arkanian Dragons.

Arkanian Dragons had once been near to extinct on Arkania, having died of for unknown reasons. Thanks to the efforts of a few zoologists, it was put forward that the race should be saved through cloning and selective breeding. The Arkanian government quickly agreed, giving the assignment to Adascopolis's Bioengineering division. This is how they were able to come across the DNA of the creatures, as well as a healthy stock of them to experiment on. The numbers on Arkania, of the dragons, were high enough that they no longer needed to clone them, they breeding amongst themselves.

Arkanian Dragons ranged from 6 to 8 feet in length, normally, and were equipped with hardened scales, talons, and the ability to breathe fire. What the scientists were trying to accomplish now was to increase their size anywhere from four to eight times their norm. It sounded simple, but gene splicing was a very complicated and precise science. even the most veteran of bioengineering scientists would hit snags and dead ends in trying to manipulate one simple gene of a creature. Problems such as these were plaguing the scientists assigned to this particular experiment, they having already failed many times.

After the last failed attempt at manipulating the gene, the scientists decided to hold yet another brainstorming meeting, to try and figure out not only what went wrong, but what they should do to try and correct it. This was their thirtieth meeting since the start of the project. The lead scientists stood up and spoke.*
"I am sure it has come with no surprise to you that we have failed yet again in our attempts. I suggest we all take the rest of the day off and relax. Perhaps one of us will think of something." *there was frustration and failure in the mans voice, he clearly not being one used to not succeeding at an assignment he was given. It was part of science however, failure always leading to discovery, or ruin.

It was not long before the scientists were back in the lab, having not been dismissed from their earlier day until late in the afternoon. Many had had ideas in their own time, as most scientists did. Perhaps today they would have more success...*

Re: Adascopolis

*The wind whipped around a street corner, biting at Yeldarb's face. It howled passed him only to vanish into nothingness as it continued on its dreary way. Moments later another gust of the bitterly chilled wind threw itself upon the seventeen year old. It seemed that the wind would not cease, gust after gust barreling into him. With each gust, he braced himself holding tightly onto the robes the clothed him; they gave him warmth in these icy temperatures.

The night was cold, much to Yeldarb's dismay. Though this did not overly agitate him, it was evident that the robes were beginning to capitulate as they started to let the cold in. Chills enveloped him with each gust now, the robes now showing a thin layer of ice coating them.*

*Trembling in the cold now, Yeldarb stood six feet and three inches tall with a 213 pound athletic build. Tucked beneath his robes was a single lightsaber with a cobalt colored blade. It was his most prized possession, what he felt was his best feat upon his initiation into training in the Jedi arts. However, Yeldarb never found much interests in the secrets that lay within the power of the force. His unwillingness to develop a cognitive understanding of the force was what caused his instructors to hound him constantly. Though the instructors were doing it for his own benefit, Yeldarb failed to see past his own clouded visions. Inevitably Yeldarb vanished from the haven of the temple where he had been. In his mind, either the instructors and Jedi from the temple didn't care that he had vanished having never come across someone looking for him, or that they never noticed he went missing from the temple. These were just Yeldarb's own beliefs that stuck with him.*

*Yeldarb tensed up as the most recent gust plowed into him. Then, seeming as if mothing had just occurred, he set foot forward and jolted for and open cantina just up the street he currently was on. As he neared it, he could smelled the Ales and what not wafting through the air each time the door opened as someone would stride in or out. The band inside played their instruments like any other band would and the notes drifted out onto the streets.

For most, the cantina was a place to go and hang out, to enjoy the fellowship of others, but to Yeldarb it meant warmth and, provided he could allocate enough credits for it, food and a drink. This was no new routine to him though; he had to do this as a child before the Jedi came and took him away from his mother and to the temple. Although he knew a better waited for him at the temple, he couldn't help but to dream about being back at home with his mother, even if it meant he wouldn't know if the would be enough food for either of them eat each night. His mother's comfort was all that had mattered to him, but now his eyes had been opened up to so many things that his mother could never had offered him.

Finally, Yeldarb stepped foot into the cantina and warmth seemed to envelop him almost instantaneously.*

Re: Adascopolis

*Amongst the reverberating noises inside the cantina, Yeldarb sat down at a peculiarly small table in the back left corner of the cantina. This was the closest table to the band which, now, was not playing their best. There were missed notes left and right coming from the instrumentalists and the vocalist swayed from side to side from a lack of balance due to his drunkenness at this hour of the morning now. The cantina had virtually been alive all night long and early into the morning but now the lively nature began to subdue itself.

Having been able to get a grip on a sufficient supply of credits, Yeldarb move on to purchase a simple meal and small drink. The meal was far from outstanding, but he manage to down the entire thing anyway, though he felt as though he shouldn't have. When he manage to bring himself back to his feet, he was slightly shaky and off-balance from where the food was already wanting to come back up. Nevertheless, Yeldarb managed to keep it down though it took quite a bit of effort. He wavered as he took a step, seemingly still trying to keep the food and drink in his stomach which he was about to lose the battle with. Before it all came back up, he was able to make it outside the cantina in order to avoid any kind of conflict.

The pile of his previously eaten meal sat, steaming on the frigid sidewalk area. He knew that he was going to have to find a way to get better food if he wanted to keep it down, because it was hell to try and keep the leftover, throwaway food that could be bought cheaply, in his stomach.

Instead resting in his condition, Yeldarb foolishly walked on, (or stumbled). It took about fifteen minutes or so, but he came upon a small freighter that was for sale. The freighter had definitely seen better days, but it was still in flyable condition. The freighter itself was actually a YV-664 light freighter. Though the ship was a very old model, it was not as old as its title. The ship had only been in use for 27 years at this point. It was almost instant that Yeldarb decided to make a purchase on the ship. He had desired on many occasions that he wanted to get away from his home planet, but had always had the opportunity stripped away from him just as he could place his fingers on it.

With one quick transfer of credits, the purchase had been made and the YV-664 light freighter was now in his name, all deeds, forms and papers put in his name. It wasn't new or flashy but it would do for a first ship.

Quickly, Yeldarb entered the freighter and began to run pre-flight diagnostics. Within mnutes the computer of the freighter gave Yeldarb the signal that all systems were a go and just as quickly as Yeldarb had made the purchase he had the freighter heading toward the atmosphere of Arkania*
