Refined Material(s) Desired (Amount in Size/Tonnes): Mining and Refining contract
Location for Delivery: Tatooine
Account Number: Personal Account
Special Conditions: Price, terms and length of mining and refining contract negotiable.
*A transmission from Darius Grubel himself is sent.*
:: Greetings General Australis, I am Darius Grubel, CEO of Naktone Industries. I was informed of your request, regarding my companies services. I am contacting you personally to discuss the terms, as we greatly value our regular business customers. As this contract would have us working together for a length of time, you are in that category. So, let us get down to business.
There are two ways, first off, that we can go about the mining and refining process. Each one comes with its own costs, one being more expensive then the other of course. The first way we can go about this is for Naktone to set up mines on the planet the mining will be taking place on. If you already have mines, we can simply take them over and bring them up to our quality of service. We can then ship the minerals and ores we gather to Drall or Honoghr, as those are the two planets we have refinery complexes on, and refine them there. Once the refining process is complete, we can send the material wherever you like.
The second option is for us to do the same with the mines, either setting up our own or taking over existing ones. The difference from the first option, however, is we would construct a refinery on the planet the mining is taking place on. This cuts transportation costs, but you would have to finance 80% of the cost to construct the refinery.
As I stated, each comes with its own costs. Of course, the first option would be the more expensive one, in the long run. I am sure you can see why. The second option would also be rather expensive, but more economical in the long run, as well as safer for your product.
I will allow you to decide which option you think would be best. Also, I must inquire as to what minerals and ores we would be extracting, and what you wish them to be refined in to? ::

Barden Sarrow wrote::: Greetings. I am Darius Grubel, founder and CEO of Naktone Industries. I am not sure if you have heard of us or not, so let me explain a bit about what we do before I get down to real business. We primarily focus on mining and refining of materials, our chief exports durasteel and ship grade plating. We also extend our reach in to low end droids, such as service and mining droids, as well as mining equipment. We also have a Research and Development department, which is the nature of my contacting you. :: *He cleared his throat before continuing.* :: I understand your company holds the rights to CIS, the leading company when it comes to battle droids. My company is currently working on a few battle droid designs, of our own ingenuity of course, but I am afraid we are not quite skilled in such designs. I was wondering if perhaps we could make some sort of arrangement and put our knowledge together in this subject, perhaps create a wing of our businesses and register them as a subsidiary of our respective companies. Or perhaps you have some idea which may be more beneficial. Either way my company would greatly like to come to some sort of arrangement with yours. I can see both of our companies benefiting greatly from such a partnership. I have left my personal commlink code attached to this transmission data signature. Please contact me through it. Thank you for your time. ::
