*Setting the Outsider down beside the Drach's Sword, Clay stepped down from the ramp, his commandos, Cergy and his 15 clones all following him out as they entered the base and found Colonel Dawn, General Ares, and Field Marshal Sparkan not far off. Dismissing their men, Cergy and Clay approached the group, saluted and Clay said.*

Colonel, General, Field Marshal. What's the status on the supposed Vong invasion? And...what of the Killiks? Any peculiar movements on their part recently?

*Dawn, Ares and Sparkan all returned the quick salutes as Cergy and Clay approached. Sparkan then turned toward Dawn as Clay started firing away questions. Dawn then nodded and Sparkan addressed them all*
=Field Marshal Sparkan=

Greetings Assistant Syndic. Well soo far there has been no official report on the Vong invading, just a few reports from farmers saying they have seen some Vong ships flying around near The Crash, which is to the east of here. As far as the Killiks go, we don't hear much from them, so we leave them well enough alone.

*Dawn rolled his eyes, but because his helmet was still on his head no one could see his expressions. This was just great he thought, we are going on reports from farmers, when we get back Bec is going to need some lesson's on properly deploying a group of highly trained commando's. Dawn sighed*

Right, well let's get this under way, unless you have any more questions Clay?

*Clay's eyes narrowed stubbornly as such a brief response never satisfied him.*

[NPC]So you guys dont keep any eye, what so ever, on the Killiks? An entire race of size varying bugs that have nearly defeated us before and now have probably cause to hate and dislike us for invading and taking their planet. Is that what I am hearing from you Field Marshal?[/NPC]

*Clay honestly didn't care that the Field Marshal may out rank him here, for this was a potentially major hole in the surveillance duties of the local garrison.*

*Beside him, Cergy shifted on his feet uncomfortably at Clay's blunt pursuit of seemingly unimportant facts.*

Yeah it is Assistant Syndic. It is better to not add insult to injury in this case, especially since we shouldn't be here anyway. At any rate we don't have the resources to keep watch upon every square foot of this planet. I doubt someone such as yourself would understand...

*Dawn could see this going badly, so he stepped between the two Chiss, turning from one to the other*

Alright, enough! I won't have this go on any longer. Assistant Syndic Clay, unless you have any other questions, pertinent, to the mission, then ask away, otherwise you better be getting your men ready to move

*Clay glared at the Field Marshal, his right eye lid twitching slightly in anger as he said.*

And what kind of "someone such as myself" am I, Field Marshal? At least I wasnt the one stupid enough to take this planet! Especially if I were unable to defend it properly from its inhabitants!

*He was about to press his point further when Colonel Dawn interject and Clay clamped his mouth shut.*

*Cergy, seeing that if Clay opened his mouth again, bad things would happen, so he motioned for him to go back to the group of men behind them and stepped forward, a 20 year younger version of Thrawn, said.*

My apologies on the Assistant Syndic's behalf, Field Marshal. All we need is a direction and we'll see what can be done about the problem.

*Dawn glared at Clay as he marched off after making his comment.

Field Marshal Sparkan nodded at the Sergeant's apology*

No worries Sergeant. The Crash is off to the East of here.

*Dawn turned his attention back to the Field Marshal*
=Colonel Dawn=

Thank you for your help Sir.

=Field Marshal Sparkan=

Anytime Colonel.

*Field Marshal Sparkan then turned and went back into the city. Dawn then turned to Sergeant Cergy*

Rightio Sergeant, get your men moving. We'll meet you there.

*General Ares headed straight back to the Prar House Phalanx and started getting the men in order, while Colonel Dawn walked back towards the Prar House Phalanx, stopping right behind Clay*

Just remember we are here to look for Vong, not start a war with the Killik's who have shown no aggression so far. Also as far as the idiot who invaded goes, his standing right behind you, whilst the idiots who gave me those orders are laying dead, having died protecting our people. Next time show a little respect and keep your attitude in order, I already told you I don't want any trouble while we are here, don't make me prove my point.

*Dawn then walked off without letting Clay reply, as he got close he yelled out to the men*
=Colonel Dawn=

Mount up and roll out!

*Dawn then jumped into a Király Holló with General Ares and several Prar House Commando's*

*Cergy nodded in understanding and immediately saluted and turned away back to the group.*

*As Dawn came up behind Clay, he turned to face him as he spoke, but remained silent. Instead he simply nodded to the Colonel as he turned and rallied his forces. Turning to his own, with Cergy joining them, who shot him a dirty look. Sighing, he said.*

=Assistant Syndic Clay=

Lets move out before they get to far ahead of us gents.

*With that, the commandos all slid their helmets over their heads, save Cergy who waited a split second longer, then did so as well. Mounting up, they all followed the Prar house forces out of the base and towards the Crash.*

was moved onto high alert by Field Marshal Sparkan not long after the Prar House Phalanx had headed off to The Crash.
Sparkan stood in the small command base, where people were monitoring scans, when suddenly a Killik force moving towards them was picked up*

Sir, we have an incoming Killik force. Exact make up unknown.

=Field Marshal Sparkan=

Inform the men, we must be ready for anything, Colonel Dawn has not reported in yet...

*The operator nodded before relaying the orders to the Planetary Phalanx warriors. Field Marshal Sparkan sat down in his command chair as a holo image of the city, with a marker indicating the approaching Killiks appeared. Things really were not looking in their favour*

*Entering the Chiss' base parameter, the separate Killik Hoard suspiciously began picking up speed, the Kolosoloks leading a charge towards the CEDF Bases entrance, lowering their heads in preparation to boll over the gates and make them open for the rest of the Killik forces to pour into the base.*

Sir they are starting to charge!!

*Sparkan's eyes widened with disbelief as the holo map showed the killiks approach*
=Field Marshal Sparkan=

No! Order all units to open fire! Get the civilians evacuated and raise those shields!

*The Command Base began buzzing with activity as orders were radioed into the troops. The city wide chiss shield cluster was activated, as well as the individual gate chiss shield clusters. The Chiss Warriors stationed near the gates started shooting charric bolts at the on coming horde. The 6 Expansionart Main Battle Tanks began firing from the top of the wall. The CHAT-S' near the gates raised their shields as well to provide extra protection, while the CHAT-A's fired a round of vape charge loaded artillery at the Kolosolok's. The 8 Red Flame Gunships opened fire, shooting Skerpioen Olifantgeweer Anti-Armor Missiles. The 6 Rhino's nearby clamped down and fired MAC rounds over the wall, aiming to hit the oncoming force.
Meanwhile the rest of the Phalanx was moving from their posts across the city towards the direction the Killik forces were coming from.

While this was all going on, the civilians were being moved through the city towards the space port where large unarmed civilian transports were loading up with people and preparing to take off to take the Chiss Citizens to safety*

*As the Chiss cluster shields are raised, the entire Killik assault line suddenly halts its advance and several Kolosoloks are taken out in the blasts of laser carnage raining from the fortress walls. From behind the fog of vision that was the collective Sight of the hoard, Cruelty screeched in hatred at the limitations of the Killiks technology and mentally noted to demand that Fallacy provide him with more modern arms. Sighing furiously, he screeched to his followers:*

=Cruelty=

<< Fall back to the darkness my children! Beneath them we shall crawl and devourer them! >>

*And, as fast as they had begun their charge, their retreat was just as sudden and within moments, they had disappeared back beneath the surface of Yoggoy.*

*Beneath the surface once more, the Killiks quickly began forming or expanding new caves and tunnels extending towards the Chiss fortress.*

*The soldiers watched in disbelief as the Killik horde stopped in it's tracks and began to retreat. Field Marshal Sparkan checked the scans, there was something he didn't like about what was happening*

Continue the evacuations! get all civilians out and start the armed forces retreat. Also get the Drach's Sword out to the Crash!

=Comm Operator #5=

Aye sir!

*Civilians continued to board the transports, loading themselves and their most valuable items. The Phalanx then spread out through the city to assist with the evacuation and be ready for any further attack the Killiks might launch*

*With it's orders received the Drach's Sword raised it's ramp and took off into the air. The huge hulking mass of the Ac'siel II class Star Destroyer began to move towards the Crash, to assist the Prar House Phalanx*
