*Cygnus walked a little bit more and the expression on his face was of one that was knowing.*

IC: Not just the Tarkins, Valstrol, also House Motti as well. The two Houses are related by blood and marriage over many generations. You seem to forget that always. Adulph was not meant to be the perfect Tarkin, just the perfect addition to the Family - one that could be used by Yourself, Raven and Malum. What I did not count on though, my Nephew, was the Skirata DNA - Adulph is.... is ... Neutral! Oh I tried to open up that rage inside him Valstrol, so that he may command the Force as only a Sith can. But, he understands the how and the methods and the command, he just chooses to be Neutral!! Potentium, can you believe that?

*It was a strange outburst from Cygnus; an admission that he had not fore-seen the effect of the Skirata DNA with regards to Adulph.*

"Neutral? He doesn't seem...neutral to many. It is quite odd. Raven has vanished so only Malum and I remain...the empire however...it is slowly dying without a good leader at the helm."

*Cygnus's eyes flashed brightly upon hearing this new information. Knowing that he was also powerless to do anything for the first time in his life angered him even more. His voice took a sinister tone as he began to speak in words not spoken since he was a Dread Lord.*

IC: Valstrol, my Nephew, yourself and Malum must understand this.... Raven has betrayed and is lost to us. You two must find a way of securing those planets of the Family Empire that are needed. You must survive and continue to exist; do not make the mistake of Raven and be complacent.
Wherever Malum is, find him! That is the prime goal, find recruits and whatever planets have been decided that are to be kept, keep them. I have told you that Adulph will assist, it is in his make up to do that. Also, whether you have to merge with another faction or ally with another faction that is now stronger than you - DO SO!! Survival is utmost, plan and plot to usurp to the leadership, Tarkins and Mottis are one - we lead, Raven was a mere blip.
Your children and those of Malum, for he must now Valstrol marry, will be the future. You and Malum are the Heads of the Two Houses, while Adulph maybe the Patriarch, he is not of the age of majority. He needs guidance in the matters of our Family, information - he is our diplomat and can be used as such.
From you and Malum strength will grow; it will take time, but it will happen - use every resource that you and Malum can command and inform Malum that he has to sire legitimate, blood children!

*listened to their conversation as he wandered the room. this information could be important in the future, as he was new to this family he had to learn as much as he could if he was to rise among rankings here. he continued to browse the artifacts as he came across an interesting looking hologram and stared at it .*

"Uncle...the question is this: where has Adulph gone off to? He left Eriadu not long ago, but his intents and location are unknown to me. Malum is currently in the Deep Core last I heard. I will have to...contact him somehow. If this what you truly say, Uncle...then it shall be done. The Empire must last indeed."

IC: You have an inquisitive mind Draco, yet I have warned you not to touch anything in here! You are not of my Blood - touch anything and what happens is that your Force connection is drained from you. That hologram you are looking at... blue-prints to a ship that was meant for the 4th G.E. Raven refused it!
Now, Valstrol, to Adulph... he will be where he feels there is advancement to be made, ropes to form and his skills to develop. He would go to a faction that is not quite so staunch in its lightside, somewhere that he would feel comfortable in his Potentium and where he would believe that he could mend bridges. Such youthful simplicity!! Were I him then I would go to Honoghr.
Tell me Valstrol, did Adulph push his claim to be recognized as Crown Prince? If so, did you and Malum support his logical claim?

"There was a time that Raven's location was unknown...Adulph immediately demanded to become Crown Prince, without evidence of Raven's death and with his fiancee still around holding the empire together. Malum and myself believed, that through Adulph's attempts to blackmail others to accept him as their leader during the meeting, he was not ready...we wished for a regency council till Raven returned or his death was confirmed...but at the last minute, Raven appeared and stopped Adulph's attempts and set everything back into order. With the Empire dying now...I plan to speak with Malum and see what he thinks about Adulph becoming the next leader once he is mature enough."

IC: It would seem Nephew, from what you have just told me, that back then, whenever that was, Adulph understood what was to become of the Empire! Perhaps had you and Malum backed him then, if not in his claim as Crown Prince but in some capacity, the Empire would not be in the state it is in now.
Yet, you are right Valstrol; Adulph is too young for now - he must be mature and understand the workings of the Galaxy. I think he has youthful notions of nobility that everything works as long as everybody agrees with honour and a handshake. We, Valstrol, have lived long enough to know that is not how things happen. Adulph will learn this and he has to. Perhaps him leaving the family nest for now is a good thing, Yourself, Malum, Sigilous, Raven, Deathstalker and Zuka - all of you were not brought up with the Family, you all had to learn the hard way even though I observed from afar. Observe Adulph from afar Valstrol, yet do not make the mistakes I made as I did with all of you, keep in contact with Adulph.
I repeat what I advised earlier; You and Malum are the senior Family members and run the two houses - Adulph is not of the age of majority. If you need support my Nephew, contact your brother Sigilous, remember, he too is a senior Family member!

*Cygnus smiled to himself. Why was it that the young members of the family never listened to his words carefully? His Force bond to Adulph had always been strong, ever since his grandson was in the womb of his mother.*

IC: Adulph is on Honoghr Valstrol. I can only guess that he finds it peaceful for the purpose of Potentium.

IC: Nephew, the hypo I gave you, you must use and inject into yourself with immediate effect. It contains your original blood, mitichlorians and DNA as well as traces of my own which will act as a stabilizer and booster. You must stop absorbing the essences of other Sith, instead, you must focus now upon regaining status and influence for yourself, your wife, Malum and your Family and ensure that Malum marries well to another Lady of the Sith.

*Valstrol listens to the comlink and nods slowly. He would have to return to see his wife and children soon. He then looked at the hypo and immediately injected himself with it.*

"I will have to take your advice, Uncle...thank-..."

*Valstrol suddenly felt odd. He grabs his head as the Sith leans against the wall of the Vault. A great headache came followed by the numbness of his body. Valstrol sat down as the hypo did its work...enslaving the minds of all those he had used in his alchemical processes to create this new body...ensuring that they would not harm him anymore. He felt his force becoming renewed. He felt it flowing through his body. Pressure began to build and immediately, Valstrol stood up and unleashed a vast amount of force energy; in the form of lightning, straight at an open end of the Vault...then it ended. He was renewed once again.*

Gripping the artifact, Lord Cygnus began to drain the statue of its precious darkside energy, a noticeable change of Cygnus's features occurred.*

IC: My young friend, the force pervades in the majority of all things. This small, insignificant statuette of a minor Sith Lord, carved from marble, would, to some eyes be nothing more than a work of art. Yet, it was embued by that Sith Lords very own energy, he never let it out of his sight, and, thus, a trace of his darkside energy remained - until then, when I drained it!! Even I, Draco have to feed, and I enjoy my meal times as and when I have them, be they living or dead; just as long as they have a connection for me to Drain from, Life or the Force, I care not!!
