*Located in the Bormea Sector of the Core, Chandrila is a lush and idyllic world of rolling plains and gentle weather, a place of peace and the pursuit of enlightenment. Though many a Jedi or champion of freedom has risen from Chandrila, it avoids conflict for its own part. If this world can be truly said to align with anything, it is Nature itself.
Parks and botanical gardens may be found all over the planet, filled with all manner of natural beauty. Here and there one might find a game reserve, and the Silver Sea is considered among the most picturesque landscapes in the Galaxy. Yet perhaps the most spectacular feature of Chandrila is the Crystal Canyons, a long, narrow, seemingly bottomless trench of rock and crystal.*

Defences of Chandrila
Chandrila is protected by a planetary defence network unlike any other. The enormous complex that powers it is hidden underground in a location known only to the most senior officials, and based on a technology unknown to any but the mysterious engineer who created it. The only visible elements of this defence network are nine towering black obelisks spread evenly across the planet's surface that will defy any attempt to move, damage or scan them. This defence network has various capaibilities, but the full capabilities are unknown to all but the engineer who designed it, and his identity is as mysterious as the technology that comprises the network.
However, certain rumours about its capabilities have managed to escape the vaults that house Chandrila's greatest protection; it is widely believed that the system can generate a planetary shield capable of repeling any attack, and rumours suggest it also has the ability to target land-based units regardless of their size or planet-side location. Another rumour suggests that the system also has sensors capable of rendering any form of cloaking completely ineffective.
The truth of these rumours is unknown, and no-one has yet been brave enough to test them...

- The General Rules and any site rules concerning inappropriate content and OOC conduct are to be adhered to.
- All types of RP and all types of RPers are welcome, with the exception of invasion RPs and any RPs which breach another of these rules.
- Planetary ownership or absolute governmental control are not allowed at this time.
- No character is to attack or be attacked within the Grand Rotunda.
- Have fun with your RP and help others to do the same.
