*Arriving from the main portions of the asteroid field, several heavy squadrons of the Droid Gravitic Vanguard protectors of the Cron Drift scuttled across the broken hull pieces and fragments that remained of the Phoenix Installation.* *Nothing but debris floating free in the Cron Drift now, the station still served as a focal point for the Vanguards to base themselves. The hundreds of large hidden asteroid hangar bays they resided in amongst the Drift were still intact but the doors forever jammed closed until a recon team (or the Droids themselves) programed them to reopen upon their return. For now, they would roost on the stations derelict hull.*

*"What are we here for?"* *Sors-class Gravitic Droid Vanguards questioningly asked their programming, as well as the other Droid-starfighters.* *"Defense Protocol Alpha",* *another LN-320xd Droid Starfighter replied, it's "voice" iron-clad.* *"Protocol, beta?"* *A half-destroyed Astromech Droid that had been left on the hangar levels of the Installation asked. Sadly, it had only lost it's lower nether regions and maintained most of it's primary memory core. The Droid Starfighters had brought anything of half use back to the center-most portion of the Installation in case someone came from Scorpia to rebuild.* *"Negative,"* *the same iron-clad voiced LN-320xd replied.* *"Alpha defense protocol. Defend Cron Drift, defend Phoenix Installation, defend Supreme Corvettes."*
