Dromund Kaas' Traveler's Guide
Dromund Kaas' Planet Forum| Dromund Kaas' OOC Forum

*It often seems as though the Dark Side corrupts everything it touches. Is that really true...or does it simply prefer to be in a place that's already dark and twisted?
Dromund Kaas. A world of swamp and sea, of dark creatures and the Dark Side of the Force. A beautiful dark sapphire of a planet from space, on landing it transforms into a place of murky water and shadowed marshy forest. This is the kind of terrain that swallows armies whole, never killing two soldiers in the same way.
It spawns few animals of its own, but those that can survive here more than make up for that lack; only the most vicious of predators find the means to exist in the swamps. How the ecology can sustain itself with such an imbalance of predators to prey animals is more than any ecologist can explain, unless perhaps the predators feed upon one another. Yet a Force-sensitive might shed some light - or darkness - on the subject, for Dromund Kaas is steeped in the Dark Side.
Weapons fail here. Light falters. Plants kill as easily as carnivorous animals do, and with less reason. Dromund Kaas asks nothing of the Galaxy outside, gives nothing in return. But for anyone who dares seek it, Domund Kaas holds power...*

Planetary Rules
- - All the standard rules of the universe apply. If you aren't allowed to do it elsewhere in the universe then you certainly can't do it here either. Please be familiar with the site's Natural Laws prior to posting on the planet.
- - Please be civil to your fellow RPer. Anyone who wishes to insult, bully, or intentionally disrespect their fellow player may soon find their ability to post on the planet removed. The planet might be home to many a nasty Darksider, but the players behind those characters need not emulate the same behaviors. Keep a clear separation of IC and OOC at all times.
- - Dromund Kaas may eventually be handed over to a proven RP team, but it will not be given to any particular faction. Don't bother asking, the answer is no. All players are welcome to RP their characters here, regardless of faction. Do keep in mind though that the planet is/was home to various Darkside organizations, so any Lightside characters traveling here may find their characters immediately set upon by hostile Darksiders. Keep it as true to canon as possible.
Defenses
- As it is the whills intention to temporarily disallow planetary control of Dromund Kaas by any individual or group, please do not bother to attack the planet itself. You are welcome to engage any character you come across while on the planet, though do be mindful of the traffic light settings of those particular characters. If you attack the planet you will not be ignored, but you may soon find your fleet and ground forces GMed away by some magical hobble-gobble from whills Gotrek & Felix. Save us the time and likely low effort of responding to said attacks by not attacking in the first place.
For the moment there is no established IC authority, so no need to ask to land. Just do it and go anywhere on the planet you want. You may find yourself hindered by other characters, but not by any planetary controllers.
