*With the droids largely decimated, General Moon turned his attention to the soldiers fighting near the mound. The rhythmic hum and occasional flash of a crimson beam caught his eye, though it took his boggled mind a moment to piece together what it was. After a moment his jaw dropped and he staggered to the side, placing a hand against the nearest wall to support himself.* *Another Sith? How many of them were there? At first he assumed the Quarren who had attacked him and wrecked his speeder had come alone, minus the battle droids of course. Now it seemed he had brought reinforcements, which meant the Mon Cal defenders were dealing with a whole new ball game. Was there only the two then, or more? Damnation! He knew how to lead men against criminals and hostile enemy soldiers, but Force Users were another thing altogether.* *Roaring at the top of his lungs, he charged the mound, joining the already oppressive force.*
*As he neared, Daniel unslung his E-11 rifle and switched the setting to stun.* *It probably wouldn't make a difference at this point with all the crimson bolts headed towards Cegan, but maybe he'd get lucky and they wouldn't kill the Sith. Wait! What was he saying? They'd be lucky if they did kill him, though the chance of taking a prisoner still lingered in his mind. Interrogation might turn up something useful.*
*Raising his rifle, he sighted the Sith and prepared to fire. It was difficult with the flashing blade and sheer number of blaster bolts flying through the air, but his training helped counter that.* *Always aim for center mass, or so his instructors had drilled into his head.* *He squeezed the trigger, sending a cobalt stun beam towards Cegan's backside.*
*Meanwhile, the city's rescue services joined the Ravens in countering the effects of the attack. Sturdy Calamarians sealed leaks and ushered civilians to safety. It was by no means easy, but slowly and surely the city was lifting slightly above the waves. Pumps syphoned water out of flooded sectors and dumped it back into the sea. Along with the water came plenty of debris, though eyes were kept towards the process in case any bodies turned up. What few hover vehicles were available attempted to haul wounded civilians off to Coral City in the West, knowing full well that the sister city was better equipped medically.*
*It was around this time that Commander Dackbar arrived, bringing with him his complete staff. The city's communications channels filled with incessant chatter as the men and women went to work coordinating repairs and gathering further information on the attack itself. The gravely voice of the Commander sounded over the Chandril Ravens line, sounding urgently belligerent.*
:: Chandril Ravens, this is Commander Dackbar of Mon Calamari Command. My aide tells me your team has been assisting the defenders and rescuing civilians. I need a situation report as soon as possible. ::
