Re: Foamwander City

The Raven troops continue thru the city, but the press of civilians forced them to take their time, directing them towards safe zones. Even so the first squad reaches the battle line, and with that fresh blaster open up on the droid line. Heavy A280 Blaster Rifles fire over the heads of the defenders, even as the squad leader yells "Friendlies incoming!"

Meanwhile on the "Sa'hot" Rebbecca is busy cursing under her breath at whatever gods she can name. The city is so huge it's going to take a miracle to keep it afloat considering all the damage. She has her shuttles deployed to pick up survivors and transfer them to other cities nearby if they can, as she takes on hundreds of civilians into her bays, many panicked or wounded. She has her communications officer bring up anyone in the hangar bay division of the city.

::Look I don't care what your doing, lock any tractor beams you have onto my ship and anything solid you can find and try and keep your city afloat.... No I don't care about my engines.. Yes I am aware that they can damage them... JUST DO IT ALREADY! And get me someone else in charge whose not in combat so we can coordinate some evacuation efforts already!:: she berates the person on the other end of the line, trying to make some sense out of this chaos.

Down below the water line, the waterlogged soldiers continue to weld plates of metal to the ripped sections in the hull. Major flooding is occurring across the city, but still the Ravens work on, sealing what they can, and often manually closing and sealing bulkheads that are damaged.

=Droid lines=
*The battle seemed to shift in seconds. While the last of the waves were suppose to bring the droids into the city and give them the protection to attack while in the water they were now slammed into the fallen arch way. It was like shooting fish in a barrel. It was not that the droids were trapped yet they had orders to keep marching on ward. Any living being would no to turn back regroup then strike. The was the major flaw of the droids even with great numbers it mattered not if they fell faster then their opponent. As the blaster fire for the Collation forces hit the already weak droids the numbers fell drastically.

It wasn't long until the waves turned calm. No droids moving about to shift the water or waves created by the force. A simple calm as the fighting ceases.*

=Cegan Kaynu=
*Cegan batted away blaster bolts as they came at him. A few got through due to the sear number of them. Yet it was just simply little burns on his arms a few on his legs. Nothing major for a Sith. The pain simply fueled him for the battle as a whole may be over yet his fight truly was not.

He charged forward at the Regulars and slashed at each one as he got closer. Trying to slice off body parts and kill them as he could. There were simpler ways yet were not as fun and . . . memorable.*

=Lord Squidus=
*Lord Squidus and the Wave Maker had at this point vanished completely. Only to arise at another time and do the same thing.*

Re: Foamwander City

*Issaic watched the droid army fall, each machine marching forward to be met with a blaster, then fall down and be walked upon by the next one. Every once and a while a droid would get off a lucky shot, or some soldier was too slow getting back into cover, but for the most part the casualties on the Regulars side seemed to have stopped. Issaic breathed a sigh of relief as his comrades finally started to laugh and joke as they blasted away. Some had even started a competition as to who could destroy the most droids.*

*Suddenly, a Sith plunged into the ranks, taking out a chunk of soldiers in a brightly glowing sphere of destruction. He chopped left and right, sending soldiers limbs flying, smoking, in every direction. Soldiers nearby tried to sprint away, just to be crushed by the fearsome lightsaber-wielding opponent. The soldiers would be useless against him, at least until they could get the commandos to start a coordinated assault. Only the greatest fighters could go up against a lightsaber-wielding opponent and survive without the Force, even with support. But at the same time, soldiers were being cut down left and right, all dying as quickly as the Sith could move his arms, which was fairly impressive. Issaic remembered a Jedi being on their side, but he was somewhere behind the lines, and that meant a few seconds more of the carnage being wreaked. Someone had to do something!*

*Swallowing his fear, Issaic changed clips on his pistols quickly, then yelled as he sprinted at the Sith, firing blindly. He wasn't hoping to kill him, just to delay it and save the lives of his fellow soldiers.*

Re: Foamwander City

As the machines continue to fall something much worse appears to confront the few soldiers still in the section: a Sith Lord. The little training received against force-wielding opponents tells the Ravens to retreat, but not many soldiers are doing that, simply dying and continuing to fight on. Then the crazy pistol wielding soldier happens to charge the Sith, and what more can the Ravens do than try to help him. The first Sergeant is one of the first Ravens to die, but more squads are called in as the Corporal from that first squad messages in the Sith Lord to the "Sa'hot.

Rebbecca, is getting angry at this point. Hundreds of civilians already crowd her hallways, and the tractor beam's are not going as well as initially planned. The only good news she has is that her fighter squadrons have reported no opposition in the skies. She orders more reinforcements towards the Sith, and begins broadcasting the Sith's location to any Jedi or Republic Special Forces in reach.

The hull teams have sealed several holes, and closed off the initial portions damaged near their landing point. Flooding has reduced their mobility greatly as several of the hover dollies have been damaged forcing the Ravens to carry the heavy plates along, a taxing effort. They don't know how much this can help the city but by the gods they are going to try.

In the hallway the soldiers left try to aim at the Sith with their Heavy Blaster Rifles, pouring as many bolts they can in his direction, avoiding what few Battle Droids remain. The advice given by Knights Margolin and Moira on defeating Force Users including large masses of dangerous objects to overwhelm a Sith: it worked at Geonosis against the Jedi, against a Sith it should work too.

Re: Foamwander City

*With the droids largely decimated, General Moon turned his attention to the soldiers fighting near the mound. The rhythmic hum and occasional flash of a crimson beam caught his eye, though it took his boggled mind a moment to piece together what it was. After a moment his jaw dropped and he staggered to the side, placing a hand against the nearest wall to support himself.* *Another Sith? How many of them were there? At first he assumed the Quarren who had attacked him and wrecked his speeder had come alone, minus the battle droids of course. Now it seemed he had brought reinforcements, which meant the Mon Cal defenders were dealing with a whole new ball game. Was there only the two then, or more? Damnation! He knew how to lead men against criminals and hostile enemy soldiers, but Force Users were another thing altogether.* *Roaring at the top of his lungs, he charged the mound, joining the already oppressive force.*

*As he neared, Daniel unslung his E-11 rifle and switched the setting to stun.* *It probably wouldn't make a difference at this point with all the crimson bolts headed towards Cegan, but maybe he'd get lucky and they wouldn't kill the Sith. Wait! What was he saying? They'd be lucky if they did kill him, though the chance of taking a prisoner still lingered in his mind. Interrogation might turn up something useful.*

*Raising his rifle, he sighted the Sith and prepared to fire. It was difficult with the flashing blade and sheer number of blaster bolts flying through the air, but his training helped counter that.* *Always aim for center mass, or so his instructors had drilled into his head.* *He squeezed the trigger, sending a cobalt stun beam towards Cegan's backside.*

*Meanwhile, the city's rescue services joined the Ravens in countering the effects of the attack. Sturdy Calamarians sealed leaks and ushered civilians to safety. It was by no means easy, but slowly and surely the city was lifting slightly above the waves. Pumps syphoned water out of flooded sectors and dumped it back into the sea. Along with the water came plenty of debris, though eyes were kept towards the process in case any bodies turned up. What few hover vehicles were available attempted to haul wounded civilians off to Coral City in the West, knowing full well that the sister city was better equipped medically.*

*It was around this time that Commander Dackbar arrived, bringing with him his complete staff. The city's communications channels filled with incessant chatter as the men and women went to work coordinating repairs and gathering further information on the attack itself. The gravely voice of the Commander sounded over the Chandril Ravens line, sounding urgently belligerent.*

:: Chandril Ravens, this is Commander Dackbar of Mon Calamari Command. My aide tells me your team has been assisting the defenders and rescuing civilians. I need a situation report as soon as possible. ::

Re: Foamwander City

=Cegan Kaynu=
*Cegan kept fighting through the Collation forces and knocking away laser bolts. Yet no matter how skilled one can only go on for so long. A bolt hit him right on the collar bone. He stumbled back in pain as another three shots hit him in the torso. It was just to much for the apprentice.

That was when the stun beam hit him. Cegan fell forward to one knee keeping himself awake for a few more seconds through adrenaline and the force however, that did not matter. A laser bolt came at his head and made contact just below a temple finally bringing the Sith apprentice down. In the cross fire it would be hard to tell who fired the shot or if Cegan was even still alive.*

Re: Foamwander City

Upon hearing the voice of the Mon Calamari Commander, Rebbecca takes the communications set and switches it to that channel specifically.

::Keeping your city afloat commander while One point Two Thousand refugees are crammed into my med wards, a quarter of them wounded the rest panicked. Your hull is leaking like a sieve, and apparently there are Sith in your City. My ship was brought into a war zone WITHOUT my knowledge, and my ships engines and shields will need an overhaul after this is done trying to maintain the buoyancy of your city. Get me back General Moon, and get more disaster teams over here ASAP::

She cuts the channel rather abruptly and rudely considering the recipient is simply another soldier. But at this point she is quite frustrated about the lack of foresight and the fact that her medical frigate is deep in a battle zone. She heads to the Holonet Transceiver pod and prepares a message to be sent to Borelias to request a Jedi and Commando presence, because if one Sith was here, chances are more would appear soon.

Inside the city, Raven teams are met by disaster relief forces, and both units work together to stem the tide of water. They take cues from the Mon Calamari teams due to they having greater knowledge, and the Ravens just improvising the stabilization.

Meanwhile more Ravens fall, but finally the Sith goes down as the E-11 wielding officer smashes him with a stun blast. None of the Ravens want to go near the Sith, so instead they begin stabilizing any wounded soldiers, and finishing off whatever droid troops remain. Hopefully the Coalition officer would check the Sith... and pump a dozen more shots into his head rather than put him in carbonite.
