Galactic Science and Technology Council FAQ
What is the Galactic Science and Technology Council?
The Galactic Science and Technology Council is a player based, Whill approved group that promotes fair practice in writing innovative/science-based RP. They set Whill approved regulations on how to integrate science into JvS RP. Their goal is not to halt unfeasible RP but to integrate any idea into the Universe, whether it actually succeeds or fails IC.
They also advise players on staying within guidelines when considering any type of science based RP. If a player is outside the guidelines they can be referred to the council for advice. If a player continues to RP outside the guidelines they may be referred to the Whills.
What do I need the council for?
If you want to RP a new or unheard of idea it is recommended you run it past the Council first to receive advice on keeping your RP within acceptable guidelines. This will help you avoid arguments or other players challenging your setup later on.
How do I become a councilor?
The Science Council is currently full, however, opens arise frequently, and the council is still looking players to help facilitate innovative/science based RP. Applications will be considered from any player and decisions are made in public.
Who are the councilors?
Some councilors will be able to help you with specific issues, others are general councilors. All will be able to help you with queries or will refer you to a more specialist councilor.
