Commander Rysk takes off his helmet. "It was different for everyone who served. For me and, I believe most of my brothers, it was what we were trained for, and the perfect test of our skills. What stories did your dad tell, if you don't mind repeating them."

Just about a cyborg who wielded four lightsabers said he use to be a friend of his before he was killed, stories od massive space fleets fighing each other lighting the very darkness of space, you like the heat of battle then Rysk?

Commander Rysk: "Cyborg with four lightsabers? That sounds like General Grievous." Rysk looks thoughtful for a moment. "Honestly, I do prefer being in battle. Not enough to go start a war or something like that though, at least at the moment."

Commander Rysk: "Absolutely, Ma'am. I ran across him twice over the course of the war, both times to no avail. As I understand it, he was killed by Jedi Master Obi-wan Kenobi at the end of the war."

Commander Rysk: "Well, as I only ran across General Grevious twice, I don't know much more than what the data files on him say. Apparently, he was originally a Kaleesh warlord, who for unrecorded reasons was rebuilt as a cyborg, with the only organic things left being his internal organs, and part of his head. Rumor had it that he was trained to use lightsabers by Count Dooku. However he learned, when he got all four of them out, there were very few who stayed in his vicinity, mostly Jedi. The first time I ran across him, it was in the warrens beneath the arenas on Geonosis, before we got this armor." *Rysk taps his breastplate with his right fist.* "We had no idea at the time what he was. It was a disaster, and I'll leave it at that. The second time was a year and a half in, aboard his first ship, the Crimson Fist. We had been sent in to retrieve codes and encryption data, not knowing that Grevious was aboard. Luckily for us, we had just gotten this armor, but we were still beaten back by him and his droids. One of us that were firing at him got a lucky shot off, and took off half of his mask, but he still kept fighting until we managed to withdraw to our shuttle without the information we had been sent to collect. That mission wasn't as costly as the first one, with only ten men lost out of two hundred deployed. For the rest of the war, my Unit jumped around the galaxy, taking objectives that other forces couldn't."

Damn! Sounds like the clone wars and this Grevoius are as father said they were, tell me what was it like? was it as beautiful as you describe it the clone wars? i have always had the heat of battle and rebellion in my heart my father said it was a flaw probably why i got this job to teach me something

Commander Rysk: "I don't know about it being beautiful. I lost a lot of friends over the course of the war, both Clone and Jedi. When in battle, others have noted that I seem calm and collected, even in the worst firefight. For me, battle is a cold thing, to be analyzed swiftly, and to be ended suddenly and decisively. However, all of the other officers of my command, and indeed, everyone I've met have different views on battle and how they deal with it. For instance, while my contact with Captain Thorn has been limited, I have heard that he is a demon in battle, utilizing blasters, blades, and hand-to-hand combat with deadly efficiency against all opponents. I don't remember if you have met Captain Salvo, of Sabre Unit, but he is fierce yet calculating in battle, and in most areas of his life. His Unit works together as one to overcome all odds. As evidenced by these two, having the 'heat of battle' is a good thing for a soldier to have. Captain Thorn is an example of rebellion, as I am sure you have noticed. It has not affected his performance in combat, only his reactions to orders. That whole Unit has a reputation for being crazy..."

Commander Rysk: "Salvo and Thorn were part of the same unit during the Clone wars, Death's Cohort. They and Captain Fier of the 452nd Stellar Company made quite a set. Nothing could stand in the way of those three and their units." He shakes his head rather sadly. "And now Fier is dead, and the Cohort dissolved."
