Sixty two ABY and it is a warm pleasant day. The Skellios' family are all home today and for once Maxamillian Skellios is free of government responsibilities."No Son you have to gently will it to move."Zen was standing next to his father in the barn, Max's deep dark blue eyes gazing down affectionately admonishing his son."Close your eyes and imagine it moving, gently push it with your mind."Zen had both hands out stretched toward the milk churn but it hadn't budged now for a full ten minutes, and Zen was growing frustrated. The churn began to rattle, and Max looked at his son in hope, but then nothing, he closed his eyes and sighed."I can't do it dad."Zen said sulkily."You can do it Zen, you have to trust in the force."Max explained."Exactly how am I supposed to trust in something I can't even see!"Zen retorted angrily, his anger exploding through him and the milk churn was sent pounding into a beam where it crumpled and clattered upon the floor, Max's eyes became dark as he turned a disappointing gaze upon his son, Zen's Fathher was about to open his mouth to speak but Zen was already storming out of the barn in tears. Max sighed outwardly and then left the barn and entered the house and walked into the kitchen where he received a sharp reproachful look from his wife, she was clearly cautioning him."I....."Max was cut off as his Wife cut him off raising her hand."Don't."She said, a touch of sadness in her tone."I was just trying......Again she cut him off this time whirling around and furiously wiping her hands upon her apron."Why Max, what is it with you. You made your choice to leave the Order, so why inflict on your son, why does he have to learn to use the force, why can't you be happy for him and the way he is, just treat him like a normal kid for God's sake."Max cast his eyes down and then looked up at his Wife he then walked forward to embrace her, but he found her palm firmly planted in his chest instead and she shook her head."No you can't just hug me and expect me to not care, its gone on for too long, and you are going to end up angering our son and ruining your relationship, just think about it Max, what do you want, and more importantly why the hell do you want it."With a furl of her dress and a splash of auburn hair she was gone, striding from the kitchen she clenched up her apron and threw it onto the work surface to go and comfort her son. Max narrowed his eyes and then rubbed his left arm with his right hand. He then sat down upon a wooden stool at the kitchen table and rested his head in his hands. Why did he want this for his son? She was right; his wife. He had left the Jedi Order when he had found Marel, fallen in love with her. That had changed his life and he had chosen then to abandon his Jedi duties and give his duty to his Wife and his family, so why now the sudden crisis of conscience, he didn't know, but he knew his son had amazing abilities and for some reason he wanted them nurtured, yet if he did he knew he couldn't train him, it had been too long, and like his Wife had said it would ruin their relationship.
