Re: Hangar, leading to Underworld, Cantinas, RO Temple, Shops

*Hakai and Vivian were now moving along rather progressively, her clothing coming off in small tears and rips. He pulled her along as he made his way to the cockpit of the Dynamic Class Freighter they had boarded. As he made his way past the communications nook he quickly pushed Vivian forward, punching the side of her skull as he laid her down to rest on the small reclining chair in the communication's nook. She was out cold, probably would be for about 24 hours. He hadn't hit her gently. He proceeded to take the pilot's seat and began running a preflight systems diagnostic and got her engines up and running.*

<< I was just beginning to enjoy myself. Ah well. >>

"Sleep well, maiden." He murmured past her lips as his hands rose up to grip her head gently. Lightning hit her as he raged, and she slumped, the worse for wear now. He lay her down on the bed, hooking her up to diagnostics just in case and walked over to the cockpit.

He slid inside the co-pilots seat, checking diagnostics.

"Enjoy yourself back there, my friend?"

He laughed, his emotions no longer lcouding his vision. Something had changed, he'd felt something shift. He was gaining control over his emotion, over this passion that he could harness to whatever means he wanted.

Re: Hangar, leading to Underworld, Cantinas, RO Temple, Shops

*Hakai pressed several buttons on his console, glanced down at his flight contols and gauges and seeing everything was in relatively working condition, he decided to strap in and get their journey started. He had ignored the man's comment up until this point.*

"Did I enjoy myself...? Does one really need to ask?" He chuckled.
"Let's get outta here. The Authorities are soon to notice the blood spilt on the hangar floor. Plot a course for Gyndine, after we're out of atmosphere feel free to go back to what you may have been doing... The trip will take some time..."

*Hakai took hold of the flight controls and blasted the engines. Ignoring any kind of protocol he thundered out of the hangar into the crowded city airspace and wandered up into the upper echelons of traffic avoiding several near collisions only by his mastery of the force. Once free of the traffic, he headed towards the planet orbit.*

*The Hangar is undergoing refit. Private hangars expanded, with the patrons option of retaining their own guards. Public hangars restructured, access to the traffic lanes made easier. Business hangars expanded to accommodate larger freighters, with additional temperature controlled storage units available, permitting the freighters to depart on a more timely basis.*

*Denderikk unfastened his safety belt and his astromech droid, R2-B5 propped itself upon it's wheels, swung its cylinder body forward and extended it's third leg.*

*It may not have looked like much to the experienced pilot, but to Denderikk it was nothing short of incredible. The entire planet was one huge city. From orbit, the planet looked like a giant balloon filled with stars as if Coruscant contained a galaxy within itself. Denderikk thought he would see some mountains or grassy plains, but no--it was just one huge city.*

*Denderikk straightened himself out, extinguishing any trace of a tourist expression on both his face and in his body language. There was no telling what an easy mark he would become if he let any innocent, boyish show.*

"Thanks again for the lift. I really appreciate it...and uh...try and stay away from that "Darkside" thing. It doesn't sound too good." *R2-B5 whistled a similar "thank you" to the captain and crew.*

*Denderikk and the droid disembarked from the shuttle.*

Re: Hangar, leading to Underworld, Cantinas, RO Temple, Shop

*Denderikk gazed around albiet not exactly knowing where to go, he turned to his droid.*

"Well, there's bound to be a terminal we can use to check the account, and if this hanger is as good as the one in Mos Eisley...and I bet its a million times better...we can order a ship from various shipyards from several terminal kiosks, depending on how many credits we have"

*R2-B5 beeped an acknowledgement followed by a query as to why they don't explore the surroundings and why they must leave so soon.*

"Well first of all, as amazing as this city seems, I don't like being here. It's way too crowded. Secondly, we don't know our surroundings. It will take a while for our ship to be delivered, and we can explore a little bit until then...let's just see how many credits we have until we commit to something we can't afford."

*R2-B5 whistled in agreement and the two went looked for an access terminal to check Denderikk's account.*

*Denderikk noticed many up-to-date ships as well as modified older ones as he walked through the hanger. He also noticed several distinct differences from the docking bays in Mos Eisley. While Mos Eisley Spaceport wasn't exactly clean, it seemed orderly enough and had a casual feel to it that projected a more, almost homely sense to it. This hanger on the other hand, seemed cold, chaotic, and Denderikk thought no one would care to know each other's name or recognize one another's face. It also smelled terrible, due to the constant refueling and exhaust fumes that frequented much busier docks.*

Re: Hangar, leading to Underworld, Cantinas, RO Temple, Shop

*It didn't take long for the two to finally reach an account terminal. R2-B5 plug into the terminal and came to Denderikk's account...3,500,000 credits. For a moment Denderikk stood there motionless and in awe. He had just spent his entire youth scavenging parts and fixing them with jawas andnow he had 3,500,000 credits. He took a deep breath and regained his composure.*

"Print out a 15,000 credit debit card, B5. Then lets go over to a kiosk and get a ship."

*The astromech did as it was told, printing out the card which was dispensed, and locked the account back up again. Denderikk took the card and walked over to the SoroSuub kiosk where he could order a custom-made ship.*

Re: Hangar, leading to Underworld, Cantinas, RO Temple, Shop

*Denderikk and R2-B5 make their wayto the SoroSuub kiosk. Though at the terminal for quite sometime, looking up various ships and modifications, Denderikk finally settles on a Brayl-class bulk freighter which he has modified significantly with suggestions from his astromech droid. Denderikk realized that unfortunately, he only had minor piloting skills driving a sandcrawler. Although jawa sandcrawlers were harder to drive than most vehicles, given how the control boards were a cross between ore diggers and scavenged parts, he knew he would be unable to pilot the freighter on his own.*

"The ship will take sometime to build and modify, B5. Besides, as much as I don't like taking off the jawa robe, it might be better if I find some clothing a little more...well suitable for lack of a better word. In the meantime, we can also look for a crew."

*While Denderikk and his droid were on their way to the clothing store, a thought crossed his mind.*

"Y'know, maybe we should get weapons first. It's a dangerous city, and their probably going to run out of stock in weapons before clothing."

*R2-B5 beeped an acknowledgement, then the pair made their way to the weapons shop.*

*The agents in the shuttle spotted the young man and his droid, wondering what he was up to in the hanger. As he moved to the account terminal, they zoomed the camera in and cleaned up the image. Although they couldn't see his bank code with his body blocking the keyboard, they could see over his shoulder onto the screen. There, on the screen, was this boys name and account balance. At this sight, the men simply looked at each other, awe struck at the astronomical sum of money he owned. After recording this information, they decided to have somebody tail him. One of the agents stepped out of the ramp while nobody was looking, heading to one of the shadier terminals in the corner and waited for the boy to begin moving.*

Re: Hangar, leading to Underworld, Cantinas, RO Temple, Shop

*Denderikk sat down on a disabled portable fusion generator and duginto his back pack pulling out the datapad he just purchased. He pondered for a few moments on what compulsed him to buy such a thing. Just for leisure he began listing types of ships he saw and their schematics, outlining weaknesses and pondering how each problem could be solved mechanically with repairs and upgrades.*

*His R2 unit began whistling restlessly.*

"I know you must be bored B5...here, we'll keep each other entertained."

*Denderikk plugged a cable from the datapad tohis astromech droid and the pair began sharing maintenance and repair notes.*

*Though Denderikk was occupied with the notes, he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was being watched. Years spent surviving in the desert had given him that kind of instinct precognition, but Denderikk didn't think much of it. He probably was being watched, he thought, although he had maintained a low profile since he arrived.*

*"It wouldn't really matter anyway" he reconciled to himself, shooing away the fleeting thought of paranoia. "I'm doing a good job of blending in and any onlooker will see me as just a mechanic...I am just a mechanic," he realized with a sigh.*
