Re: Hangar

*Cassus hurried to the Hangar, and as the mysterious Mandalorian sought exit, he rounded the corner of the hallway to intercept, stepping out in front of the man. He stood motionless for a few moments, before nodding once, slowly, and slamming a fist to his chest in customary salute to a fellow barve.*

Su'cuy tat. What brings you to Concord Dawn?

*Cassus eyed the man through his visor, scanning with the threat detection computer for any sign of hostility, but found nothing. His own weapons were within reach upon his belts, and various other hidden locations, but his hands remained far enough away from them for now, so as not to cause alarm.*

*Trajan returned the salute with one of his own.*

alor Cassus, I am Trajan, also of aliit Vhett. I come bearing a message from Mand'alor. He asks that you and your forces go to Manda'yaim and answer his call to war.

Re: Hangar

*Cassus narrowed his eyes and strained his neck, getting as good a look at the man as possible. Noticing the colours and emblem of the Clan, he satisfied himself with Trajan's story.....for now. He thought on the words spoken, and considered them carefully, folding his arms across his body as he did so.*

The new Mand'alor is waging war already? Well the guy has shebs that's for certain. So who is the target this time?

*Cassus wanted as much information as he could get first before sending his fleet and troops halfway across the Galaxy. Of course, the order had come from the Mand'alor, and so would be honoured anyway, but it was bad timing for Cassus personally. Not that it mattered. His other business could be dealt with fairly swiftly, and see him back in place for war before anyone even realised. Cassus smiled at the prospect.*

Re: Hangar

Indeed he is. Mand'alor te Ramikad deems the Sith to be our greatest threat of all, and that they need to be dealt with before we ourselves are dealt with. I for one agree. The Sith are not to be trusted, unpredictable, dangerous, and powerful. Though I'm sure you must know that. The NOE is the faction in particular, alor.

Manaan, Kashyyyk, Korriban, and Ziost are some of the targets being considered to be exact. It seems as if this will be a collective war on Sith. I'm sure Mand'alor will be able to explain this all in greater detail than myself.

Re: Hangar

*Cassus nodded solemnly. Indeed he knew well enough how much of a threat the Sith were to the Empire, and just how slippery some of them could be. His mind wandered back to memories of Feral, and bitterness rose in him like bile as he found frustration at having never seen an end to that battle. His mood snapped to one of amusement when the targets were announced.*

Manaan? Ha! That's a good one!

*He smiled broadly under his helmet. His history with the Iron Fists was long and turbulent also. His marriage to Arhiia seemed like millenia ago now, but his distaste for her and her lunatic father remained ever-there. Of course, he had heard of the Iron Fist's flight from Manaan, and had laughed heartily at the time, but for nostalgic sense, it would still give him pleasure to revisit that planet, and wreak havoc on it once more.*

Very good ner tat. I shall make my way to Mandalore with haste. You may tell Mand'alor to expect me shortly. Was there anything else at all?

No, ner alor. That is all that I was tasked with telling you. I shall report back to Mand'alor immediately to let him know you will be going Manda'yaim. Unless you need me to do anything at all, I will be on my way.

I will not fail... Kot, ijaa, kote and re'turcye mhi!!

*Hits chest with his fist. Trajan turns around and walks up the ship ramp once more, and it closes behind him. He enters the Dread's cockpit and fires up the ship's engines. Once everything is set, the ship lifts off the ground and hovers out of the hangar. After that, the ship accelerates to top speed and flies off towards orbit.*

Re: Hangar

*The Firespray-XF was prepped and ready before Cassus even stalked up the loading ramp and into the cargo bay, before scuttling into the cockpit, and sealing the internal pressure door, and raising the ramp.

The engines whined as they reached full power, and the ship itself shook in the atmospheric pressure of Concord Dawn. The blast doors opened, the defence point-guns powered down, and the Firespray lifted from its struts, and Cassus gunned towards orbit without delay.*

Re: Hangar

*Following Jaro to the hangar, heading in amongst the various ships that Cassus kept down here in varying states of repair and redesign... well Amy kept them in that state anyway. The X-Wings were her favourite to play with, a couple of old battered off-white hulled fighters that her and Cass had played dogfighting with from time to time, both were always kept ready. Beyond that was Amy's personal plaything, a very new looking Stealth-X, it wasn't as new as it looked, it was just perfectly maintained, Cass had told her once that it was a present he had been given for doing a job, he had never used it, but Amy coverted it from the moment she had first seen it. Her eyes lingered on it now, but then tore across towards the landspeeder near the hangar door.*

"OK then Jaro, lets get this shopping mission started, we have lots to get and time waits for no one. Put your foot down and fly! If it isn't fast then I'm reporting you to your father for cowardice!"

*Amy grinned at Jaro's excitement, glad that he was so happy, it was proving to be infectious and she was laughing as she slipped into the passenger seat, making herself comfortable as she waited for Jaro to take her towards the markets of Concord Dawn. She had forgotten how long it had been since she had last been away from the Homestead. She got used to her life here and with the various clan members and friends of her husband coming an going Amy was rarely bored or even starved of company, but she missed just getting free and enjoying time to do the things she wanted to do.*

Re: Hangar

*In little time at all, Jaro pushing the speeder to its very limits this time, unafraid and not withholding its full power, the speeder returned from the small outlying town and its market. The hangar doors, controlled remotely, had slid open lamentably, allowing the speeder entry to the chilly underground hangar, and were already starting their laboured closing behind them. Slowing accordingly, Jaro steered the vehicle to its designated position in the hangar bay, and powered down the engines, their scream diminishing to a mere stutter as the last of its power escaped the engine. Looking over, slipping his goggles from his eyes to dangle round his neck loosely, he grinned at Amy and her dishevelled hair.*

Home!

*Hopping off the speeder, he fetched their bags and the box of parts, and hefted them into his arms while Amy sorted herself out. His eyes darted over the contents of his box, inspecting the parts vaguely as though they had just been handed to him.*

Re: Hangar

*Amy closed her eyes as they glided into the Hangar and to a halt, glad to be home and glad to have stopped moving. Jaro's driving had been as fast as she had requested but it didn't mean that it hadn't been a scary ride, she was glad he had quick reactions, if it had been anyone else she would have screamed at them to slow down... not that she didn't fly that fast. Taking a deep breath Amy hauled herself from the speeder, getting unsteadily to her feet she moved over to take her bag from Jaro, preparing to say thank you for taking her, but as she moved she felt the nausea build further. Without being able to utter a word Amy ran from the Hangar heading to her room so that she could be sick and lie down.*

Re: Hangar

*The Firespray settled on its berthing, engines whining down to a close, and the boarding ramp lowered at last. The jet of circulated air filled the craft, leading Cassus to inhale deeply, his helmet long-removed, and a small smile gracing his lips as he submit to the ease being home brought. Looking to Herder, he shrugged and walked them both into the Homestead.*

Re: Hangar

The dull roar of engines broke the still peacefulness of the warm sky above the Fett Homestead, heralding the approach of my freighter, which touched down unsteadily in the hangar of the Homestead, remaining still for a moment before the engine hissed as it shut down, and then the ramp extended downwards, clanking into the ground of the hangar with a loud, unpleasant thud.

Before long I was traveling down that hangar, my booted feet thumping on the metal of the ramp. I was dressed in typical scouting garb: a loose, flowing white shirt, simple tan breeches and leather boots, and a heavy gun belt that housed my LL-30's. A strap looped over my left shoulder and supported the carbine that I also sported. My adventures had left me deeply tanned, my muscles thicker than when I left, my chest broader. The stubble of a few day's worth of beard covered my chin, and my black hair had grown longer and was unkempt, sticking up in odd places in utter disarray. But my amber eyes still held the familiar glint that they'd had before I left, and my sense of humor and my personality remained largely unchanged, as I'd only been gone a few months.

I came to a stop at the bottom of the ramp and breathed out a long sigh, savoring the feeling of being back on my home planet once more. It was a funny thing; I had not once missed the planet the entire time that I'd been gone on my scouting mission, never once had a single pang of homesickness, and yet now that I was back, I felt I was crazy for ever having left. The absurdness of this brought a small smile to my lips, pulling taut the lip that curled from the left corner of my mouth up to beside the ear on the same side, a thin, hardly noticeable thing that I was nonetheless probably overly proud of.

Shaking my head, my emotions running high, I stuck my right hand in my pocket, my left hand coming around to steady my carbine as I walked, and headed for the exit, intent on tracking down Cassus and informing him that my mission was complete and had been a success. My right of passage was over, and before long I would be sporting my very own suit of armor.

With a smile on my face, I exited the hangar and went off in search of his Mandalorian brother.

*Entering the hangar, the family boarded the Firespray. Offering one last look to the place he had called home all these years, he smiled. Happy memories on the whole would go with him, and the knowledge that now better and deserving people would find it as warming and safe as he always had.

The Firespray soon lifted from its stanchion and exited through the blast doors, gunning for orbit, and the unknown.*

*Bria's ship the Kwob slowly making its way down to the Hanger back. As her ship broke through the upper atmosphere. As this happen she let herself move freely about the ship as she got ready holding onto the wall as the big ship touched down. It was only then that she could feel the crew start to run about as Bria walked to one of the many doors to the out side.

Breathing in deeply as she did so she had what would be a busy day also one that would face her past. As she made herself look at herself in the mirror as she did so seeing that she wasn't showing that bad only those that knew her body shape or pay attention to it would know or those that was force users.

Nodding to her guards form up on each side of her as she nodded for them to step off the ship to the waiting Corr.*

Re: Hangar

*Corr stepped into the vaulted hangar just as Bria and her party we're debarking. He smiled beneath his helmet, amused by the guards that marched alongside her. If he wanted to harm their Lady there would be much they could do about it. Besides, he could have destroyed them while they were in orbit.
He turned his attention to Bria. She wore an elegant black dress, very different from the attire she had worn at their last face to face meeting in the Oyu'Baat.
There was something else different about her too but he couldn't quite place it. Not at this range anyway. He clicked his tongue and with a series of blinks activated a bio-scam from his visor.
They had just reached the bottom of the ramp when he got his answer. That was quick, he though to himself with a wry smile as he stepped forwards to meet them.
He bowed slightly, his mocking smile hidden by his buy'ce but obvious all the same as he spoke in a high Coruscanti accent*

My Lady Bria. How charming of you to visit....

*Bowing her head to him out of respect. Then smile as she knew he had to be wondering what the guards are for as she just smiled again at him. As she reached him she held out her hand for him in a formal greeting. It was then that she waved her guards to give her some room.* My I be surprise to find its Aliit;or Bas'ur now is it, Congrats is in order.

Re: Hangar

*He took her hand carefully, Crushgaunts DID deserve their name after all, and smiled. Releasing her, he tugged his helmet free and smiled wryly*

Commiserations more like. I don't like being tied down much....

*He hesitated then flashed a wicked grin*

At least not unless a bed is involved.

*He gestured for them to walk and set off at a slow pace down the length of the Hangar. They passed a flight of Bessies parked and cooling, their pilots lounging idly by their side. None of the men rose or even acknowledged their commander as he passed which was the way Corr liked it. He heard the guards fall into step behind them and spoke softly so his voice wouldn't carry*

I note that congratulations are in order for you too....

*He glanced down at her stomach. It showed only if one knew what to look for. Which was, in effect, knowing already. Corr assumed she didn't want to announce it. After all, his sources claimed she and Raven hadn't wed yet*
