Re: High Council Chamber

*It was clear that the two Jedi before them were frightened and knew that they were in over their head. It was also clear that neither of them was dumb enough to blindly charge at them. Prepared to make the first move, Rebellious' legs tensed to propel himself forward, but before he could lunge into action, he found that Iniquitous was already busy dispatching the pair; one on the end of his lightsaber and the other being strangled through the Force. He frowned slightly before letting out a sigh.*

"Well. That's one way to handle it. I mean, you could have left us with one play thing."
*The Darth grinned at the Faceless Lord. It was evident that he enjoyed the mayhem. As quickly as he had produced it, he extinguished the blade of his weapon and moved forward toward the recently cleared turbolift shaft. He looked down it, obviously focusing on deciphering the situation at the bottom. Through the Force he could feel lightside presences gathered around the bottom of the shaft.

Tactically it made sense that with their limited time and the limited amount of people that could step out of the lift at one time, that the Jedi would more than likely try to take them out as they exited. Rebellious looked back toward Inks and Sinistra with a somewhat stern look on his face to reflect the seriousness of the situation. With only a moment of pause as he stared at them, he proceeded to express his concern.*

"You do know that we are more than likely about to walk into a trap, right? The weaklings are probably going to try to hack our heads off one by one as we exit the lift... Or at least, that's what I would do if I were in their position.

Under normal circumstances I would say lets blow up the lift tube to both create a larger exit as well as cause a distraction so that we could exit the shaft with a lessened likelihood of decapitation. Unfortunately Andor and Gabriel are already on top or inside of the turbolift by now.

How are we going to approach this?"
*The Kiffar wasn't too fond of the idea of sacrificing allies that proved to be useful, and he figured Iniquitous and Sinistra wouldn't be too fond of it either. He also wasn't fond of the idea of being cut down by a Jedi while exiting an elevator. Either way, he felt that an alternative was needed to both avoid killing off assets and ensure that they would survive the anticipated trap.*

Re: High Council Chamber

*Iniquitous watched as Andor and Gabriel disappeared into the turbolift shaft. He waited for the others to follow, but they seemed to be less willing to dive directly into danger. After Rebellious spoke, Iniquitous chuckled and looked at Rebellious.*

Why do you think I sent Andor and Gabriel first? If the Jedi are ready to spring a trap, they would expect us to out-think them, not walk right into it. THAT is what will catch them off-guard. Besides, our forces at the front entrance should keep them occupied enough. Now are we going to continue this discussion, or have some fun?

*Nobody could see it, but Iniquitous was grinning darkly underneath his mask at the thought of the fun that was waiting for all of them. He gestured to the turbolift shaft again, waiting to see who the next person heading to the party would be.*

Re: High Council Chamber

*The Sith quirked his eyebrow at the Faceless Lord's response. Walking into a trap wasn't really his idea of fun, but then again he didn't expect much from the Jedi in the sense that he felt his blade work could best anything they had to throw at him. He returned his gaze to the shaft, then shrugged slightly before jumping down it. "Fun" was obviously his chosen option.*

Re: High Council Chamber

Wikolia Keahi wrote:*I look over at Atia briefly as we stride calmly and cooly to the edge of the shaft and then, taking the hilt of my borrowed lightsaber from my left hip with my right hand, wait until my turn comes to drop down and descend upon the Jedi that most likely are, if their performance so far is an accurate indication of their willingness to face us, scurrying away on the floors below . . .*

*Her turn did not come. Just as she was to descend, Darth Anonymous placed a hand on her shoulder and pulled her back, letting the Sith wash by. If Darth Istaqa looked back at "his" "master", "he" would find that Darth Anonymous was shaking her head once. Atia had other ideas about attacking the Jedi Temple with supperior power but lacking in numbers. And she didnt want Wiko to be killed because of the ancient idiocy of Jedi vs Sith. True, if she didnt want that, then she shouldnt have brought her, but then how is the woman going to learn anything?

She then nodded at "Inky" and this other fellow, whos name she has not yet aquired. She knew now that those that jumped down the shaft were Gabriel and Andor. Will be good for the intelligence databank back at home. The information on what sith had their hands in this attack might be valuable later, or it may not. Atia would rather have it then need it.
So, she nodded at the two talking about a possible trap, that also explains why Atia stopped wiko.

It looked like her tiny efforts to seem non thretening worked. As the fog of pulvarised wall started to settle before her, she realised that there was a fight. Yes, she DID see lightsabers but they were out of reach and far away on the other side of the room and she didnt feel like acting on them, and revealing her own position. There were shouts, sounds of things dropping, some curses, and of course, the inevitable Sith oneliners. When it was all done, she looked around and sniffed loudly (sounding like a low evil grunt through the voice distortin device) at the situation. As if she just said "Job well done" to herself. It was then she ran up to Wiko to pull her back.

Then, atia looked at the two dead jedi on the floor, and back at Wiko. She hoped she got the hint. "Iniqotious" was thorugh, killing somewhat cleanly, wich benefitted the Nightsister greatly. Now, she had one perfectly good jedi robe, and one with a round burned mark in its back. She couldnt ask for more.*

"Come."

*THM-s force push had an other very good purpouse, then ending the jedi. It cleared more dust then what it stirred up. but the two jedi were covered in it, and that was a small problem that will need some bluffing if the two nightsisters find resistance. Darth Anonymous leaned down, and grabbed the Miralukas left foot and dragged it past Rebellious (whos name she didnt know) and "Inky", dropping it in the middle of the chaimbers. Dropping it there, in the centre, she looked at Reb and Inky.*

"I will prepear a gift for the jedi for when we leave. Something to remember us by. I wouldnt mind you leaving the room. We are continuing as planned, this wont take too long."

*She said to the two, and kneeled down beside the corspe. She put her right indexfinger into the wound of the jedi. The hole in her chest was cautarised, burned through but her blood still was liqiud inside. That is why she pushed her lizardlike finger into the dead jedi-s body, and pulled it out bloody. She then started to paint rings, triangles, and other intresting forms on the jedi-s face, hands and feet...*

"Abora So Shakarol Moniko Shakarol, Flandern bori Echinikom shakarol. Abora So Shakarol Moniko Shakarol, Flandern bori Echinikom shakarol. Abora So Shakarol Moniko Shakarol, Flandern bori Echinikom shakarol...."

*She was doing the ancient spell of Force Bluff. Also called by con artists as "The Truth", ironically, called the same by their coligues, the Politicians. She pulled the force inside herself so the remaining sith would feel she was doing something, and hey... she was PAINTING JEDI BLOOD, it must be a really powerfull and evil spell, surely. Sith Magic. If a sith still in the room WAS a Sith Sorcerer, she could just claim this is a spell he doesnt know, and WILL not learn anyhow...
She needed them to leave... that was the point. She was sure Wiko would find a place for herself either beside, or on the oposite of the corpse. She would surely realise that it was no spell Ati was doing, because it was not the ancient Dathomiri language she spoke. She was just making it up to be frank. She used some words twice or more times to make it seem legit, and spoke them with great dedication and worship... She was very good at playing theatre.

She needed the sith to leave so they could change cloths. She might seem silly, she didnt care. She will do what needs to be done, and if they start a problem, she is very confident in her abbility to survive it. Her senses were clear, if someone tried to attack her, she would be ready. And she didnt think they would. If they are in a hurry, there is no reason to start arguing with someone mid battle for not doing things as they see fit.

And face the truth, Atia and Wiko will have a whole lot easyer job walking around in the temple disguised then the Sith right here... they might even get to the Comms controll room in time. They just needed to leave.*

Re: High Council Chamber

*Rebellious jumped down the open shaft and she was about to motion the others to go when Darth Anonymous decided to play with a corpse and mutter some mumbo-jumbo over the dead Jedi. Sinistra shuddered at the theatrics and broke away from Iniquitous' side to walk over to where Anonymous was painting the Jedi's face with their own blood. Sinistra had been practicing Sith alchemy for nearly 30 years now, but never in her life had she ever heard the ridiculous words coming from the one on the floor.

Sinistra started towards the pair when she froze in her tracks. Her wrath was for the Jedi. She was here for Iniquitous. This mockery of a Sith, if that's even what he was, wasn't worth her time. Rebellious had jumped down, Gabriel and Andor were already engaging the enemy. The plan rested on her blade. She was needed elsewhere and the twins would be waiting below.

She growled low in her throat like a vornskr called off a hunt. Looking at Iniquitous, she flashed him an angry glare before she turned and headed for the lift shaft.*

<< We are needed down there, my Lord. But these two, they don't leave this planet alive. I don't care what you see in them, I do not suffer fools who think to trick me with my own dark arts. >>

*Her doubts raked across her mind one more time as she pulled her eyes away from Iniquitous. She covered the floor to the lift in two paces and disappeared from view as she jumped through the opening to her fate.*

Re: High Council Chamber

*Though I have little idea what it is Atia is enacting, I know my role is to roll with whatever play she makes and back it and so, striding languidly to the other side of the remains of the fallen Jedi she is chanting over as she inscribes strange symbols on it's hands, feet and face in it's own blood, kneel beside the corpse across from Atia and, rolling with the play, begin to echo her chant in my new rumbly, low voice while, embellishing for the fun of it, beginning to trace make-believe runic patterns in the air over the corpse with hands.*

*The Sith that mocked Atia when we had first met with Iniquitous aboard his ship in orbit over Corulag growls predatorily before joining the other Sith that have already lept down after the Jedi below, leaving only Iniquitous, Atia, the fallen Jedi and I. When we are alone, I hope, Atia will reveal the reasons for the little impromptu show we are performing . . .*

Re: High Council Chamber

*Iniquitous just stood and watched, confused, by... whatever the Nightsisters were trying to do. He wasn't a sorcerer by any means, but this wasn't anything he had seen or heard before. And by Sinistra's reaction beside him, someone who DID know about Sith Sorcery, his assumptions were correct. Whatever the Nightsisters were doing was nothing more than a waste of time, a waste of HIS time.

He looked at Sinistra as she looked like she was about to make Atia about a head shorter, but suddenly stopped in her tracks. As she turned to head towards the elevator, she spoke to him through the Force. He was extra careful to mask his identity through the Force as he responded, the Force voice sounding like Iniquitous' typical tri-octave voice.*

<< These fools will meet their fates soon enough. Patience. >>

*Iniquitous nodded to Sinistra before she disappeared into the turbolift shaft. Then, Iniquitous turned around to face the two women practicing their fascinations with dead bodies. He stared them both down, his eyes dark and severe. His voice lowered, and flooded the room with darkness as the words came out.*

If you two dont stop molesting those corpses, I am going to send you home in several small plastic bags. Get your Sithspit together, or I am feeding you to my Togorians after we are finished with the Jedi.

*Without another word, Iniquitous turned and made it to the turbolift shaft in a handful of long strides, and stepped into the shaft without hesitation, disappearing into the darkness.*

Re: High Council Chamber

*As the lord jumps down, they are alone. Finally...*

"Cheery fellow."

*She stopped what she was doing and stood up, looking down at Wiko.

She didnt care for the sith, and if she has insulted them. They were childish and stubborn. Jumping down a shaft without any plan? Cute. Well, their plans were surely to just kill and kill and kill. Their acts seemed right for that plan, since just going strait ahead will give them enough enemies. That is why Atia will change disguises.*

"I am taking this one, you strik the other one and change cloths with him. Playing sith has been fun enough but now we are going to try jedi. Since you dont have the hairware of Padawans, you will be the Jedi master, and I will be your padawan. Just take the robe and close it around yourself. Take the jedi-s weapon. To be able to act like jedi, we will have to fight like ones.
This way we will be able to get to the Comm controll faster."

*She said as she removed the mask, the fake horns, the gloves. She undressed the cloak revealing a fully black outfit underneath and the stealth belt. She wrapped everything up in the cloak, and bound it in a bundle to her belt. Then, she leaned down and undressed the jedi, taking its robes onto her and closing the robe around her. She also removed the voice distortion device and put it into her pocket. Then looked as if she saw a ghost...

Reaching into the pocket, she put the voice distortion device in and pulled a small datapad out.*

"Bingo..."

*She started pressing on it, and then smiled.*

"Most of it is password protected so no information will be retrieved, but the basic operational features are working. There is a simple map in here for the Temple. There... the Comm centre. Good."

*She walked over to Wiko whom should have been done with the changing cloth, and gave her her new identity.*

"I will be your padawan, your apprentice Nayc Gai. Its Mandalorian for No name. You will be my master. We are from the Night Jedi Order on... erm... some remote world like... Utapau. If anyone asks we just arrived to set up relations with the local jedi Temple, when the attack started. To get help, we are heading for the Comm Center, since outworld communications are down."

*How idiotic her name now may sound, Nayc Gai (Nice Guy), it seems to be a pattern for Atia for some reason. As she tells their new disguise, she looks around. Happy to not see any cameras left, maybe the ones that were active were on the section of the wall or cealing they entered through, or are covered by the dust. As for the mando'a, she once checked it up on the Holonet to be able to use several names to her liking.*

"Now, activate the sound damners. As we jump down, we will jump onto the actual elovator, and then activate the cloaking. The way from the elovator is to.... its to the right. Well out of the fight and sight of others, decloak and meet up so we can get to the Comm centre."

*Many could ask why not just cloak and walk through the place that way? Well, not in a building filled with people that could sense you. For them, showing somehting they can see and recognise as friendly has a lot more chances... and they can always start with the cloaking. Having a B plan is always good. Taking the jedi Lightsaber, ati proclaims herself ready by asking Wiko if SHE is.*

"Ready?"

Re: High Council Chamber

*Listening carefully to Atia as I quickly exchange the guise of Darth Istaqa for that of Jedi Master Kokyangwuti, I nod, robed now in khaki and tan and reminding myself to set aside the brooding visage of a Sith for something more placid and resolute as befits the Jedi I am to be for a time, when she asks if I am ready and say,* "Ready, my padawan, *and then, letting her know the ancient Paecian name I have chosen in the unlikely event we are required to use our new identities, add,* follow your Master Kokyangwuti closely now," *as I walk to the edge of the open turbolift doors and looking down to judge how best to reach the top of the elevator without making any noise that might bring attention to us.

Pushing the side of the borrowed brown hooded robe back, I open the pouches to examine what the dead Jedi that I have taken them from carried that might help and, finding a grappling hook and rope, take it out and look over at Atia as I ready it and say,*
"Handy, no?" *and then, stepping back and looking up for a place to throw the line I begin to swing at my side, send it upward and watch it catch.

Testing the line, satisfied it will accept my weight, I pay out a sufficient length to reach our first stop and then drop it down to the top of the elevator before rappelling down to the top of the elevator and stepping back to give Atia a clear landing zone.*
*From below I can hear the distant roars of beasts and blasterfire as our Sith friends engage whatever forces are endeavoring to hold the front entrance and, closer still, the muted murmur of ignited lightsabers and banter that accompany, I presume, the beginning of the conflict between Iniquitous and his cheery band of Sith and the Jedi unfortunate enough to cross their paths. Ideally they will all be so caught up in their engagement that Atia and I can, as planned, find our way past them and to the Comm center.*
