*The Bothan overheard Zalor, Nathrizim and their companions talking about jobs, so he strode over to them and cut in...* "Well, right now - mates, this is just a general sign-up for active duty. We're compiling a list of all the Jedi Shadows interested in field work outside'a Endor."

=Sayra=
"Oh..." *Her smile faded into disappointment.* "So...when do we get to actually look at what work is available right now?"

=Tresk=
"You can right now, lass - you just can't take any jobs yet. Not until I get the list of people for active duty okay'd by Master Vilor and Master Ashili."

=Sayra=
"...and...that won't be until later?"

=Tresk=
*The Bothan shrugged and smiled, nodding his head.* "I think I can finish the job by this afternoon. Gives people some time to make plans an' all that."

=Zalor=
*Zalor listened quietly and nodded, then he spoke once Sayra and Tresk were done...*
"So...how do we sign up for general active duty, then?"

=Tresk=
*Tresk beamed - this was his favorite part as the head technician.* "Easy, mate...once we get you a computer, you got the application process right on the screen - ya' just follow the directions, and we put ya' into the list when you're done. Once everyone's signed up, I take the list to the Council - they put their stamp of approval on it, and then you can get to work."

=Zalor=
*Zalor nodded. It sounded easy enough. And the break in between would give him enough time to talk to his sister and decide when they would go find Wedge.*

*Asha skips up to Zalor and Sayra enthusiastically...* "Zal! Sayra! A computer just opened up for you guys! Go sign up!"

=Sayra=
*Suddenly excited, Sayra grabs Zalor by the arm and pulls him to the empty computer.*

*The voice of his youngest grandchild broke Nathrizim from his thoughts. He was pleased to see how excited she was.*

"Asha, how are you doing?"

*A message came in from the Night Jedi military's research outpost.*

:: Night Jedi General Foom to Jedi Shadows; we have captured a small team of soldiers identifying themselves as Red Fang Sith Soldiers. They claim to have been abandoned by their commanders after the attack and recapture of your Enclave. They have provided us with information about a secret base of theirs in the Northern Hemisphere, and I thought you should know about this. ::

*The message then became audio, transmitting the recording of what the Sith Soldiers had said about the secret base, for the benefit of the Shadows.*

*The Bothan strode over to the IT Center's only communicator, and spoke into it...*
::Ah, this is Tresk Fay'lya, Head Technician of the Jedi Shadows. I'm gonna go ahead and transfer all this to the Communications Center, and Master Steel Quinlan will handle this one. Sorry, mate - we're a wee bit busy here in the Info and Tech Center.::

*Tresk goes over to his main console and transfers the message to the Comm Center...*

*Asha couldn't help but giggle. It was a strange request from a man who she was used to seeing him ordering things done rather than asking for help, but it was a welcome change. She motioned for Nathrizim to follow her...*
"You bet'cha!"

*...and she went and found another open computer, already set up by Asha and Tresk to begin a new application into the Jedi Shadows active duty list.*

*Zalor had kindly let Sayra apply first. When she was done, she quickly shoved Zalor into the seat and stood over his shoulder.*

*Nathrizim chuckled as he followed his youngest granddaughter to a free computer. He sat down in front of it and looked up at Asha.*

"Alright, how do we begin?"

*Asha checked to see if the screen was still at the application main page. Since it was, she started up a new application.*
"Okay - you fill out your information here - your name, age, gender and race, then list if you're a Shadow Guardian, Consular or Sentinel, list all your different skills, including lightsaber styles, Force Powers, special weapons training, flight training, languages and trade skills."
*She looked over at Nathrizim to make sure he was following her...*
"Am I goin' too fast for ya'?"

*Zalor typed quite fast, and was able to punch in most of his basic information fairly easily.*
"Zalor Anneri...whew, that was tough..."
=Sayra=
*Sayra giggled...*
=Zalor=
"21...male....human...or do I have to be more specific than just 'human'?"
=Sayra=
"Just put human."
=Zalor=
"Alright...let's see....lightsaber style preference? Definitely Soresu. Other styles include...Ataru....Shii-Cho...and some Makashi, but very little. Force Powers....do I have to list them all?"

=Sayra=
*Sayra nodded.* "You probably should. And make sure you list Force Light, too."

*Typing quickly, Nathrizim filled out his personal information. He made a special note that his last name was Nightblade, NOT Ragnos.*

*Asha smiled as she watched Nathrizim type, somewhat impressed.* "Wow - I didn't know you could type so fast."

*Remembering something, she pointed to an input field on the screen...*
"Oh, make sure you check the 'no' box next to where it asks if you're a Padawan or not. Otherwise you'd have to tell them who your Jedi Master is before you can continue."

*When Zalor was done typing his info, he looked at a check box next to the same question Asha had just pointed out....*
"No, I am not a Padawan."
*Then checked the 'no' box with a small sense of satisfaction.*

"Yay!"

*Asha giggled in response. She was loving the new Nathrizim over the old Negue Ragnos, and she wasn't afraid to let it show.* "Okay - now, this next part is if you're a Knight Class I or a Master, and you have an apprentice of your own, you check this 'yes' box, then list your apprentice's name. This is so the Council will know who is assigned under you."

*Zalor simply checked this box 'no', and continued.*
"No apprentice."

=Sayra=
"At least - not yet."

=Zalor=
"I highly doubt I would ever take one anyway."

=Sayra=
*Sayra looked at Zalor and gasped, seeming surprised by his remark...* "What? Why not? I think you'd make a great teacher someday!"

=Zalor=
*Zalor shook his head.* "I just became a Knight yesterday, and I still don't really have a clue what I'm doing. I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one."

*Nathrizim hesitated with the next selections. He knew that Jayson Tirion looked up to him as a Master, but the council had not yet announced anything about it. After a few moments, he decided not to list a Padawan under his name.*

*Asha read everything to make sure it checked out, then nodded.*
"Okay...that's it. Hit 'Confirm', and you're done. Oh, Tresk wants me to let everyone know that after the Council okays the active duty list, everyone will be able to sign up for teams if you want to work with other Shadows on special missions and stuff like that. I know Zal and Sayra and I will all be on a team."

*The screen prompted Zalor to make sure all his info was correct, then he hit 'confirm'.*

"Okay. Looks like I'm all set."

=Sayra=
"Yay! I'm so happy!" *Sayra hugged Zalor from behind when he was done.*

"Asha, feel like visiting your older sister?"

*Asha smiled a huge smile. She hadn't seen Tanara all day. And the words 'older sister', referring to Tanara, never sounded so great.*
"Oh, heck yeah! Let's go!"
*She prepared to dash out of the room before Nathrizim, but she stopped herself and her smile faded as she remembered something...* "Ooooh...except..."
*She quickly turned and looked at Tresk, and gave him a puppy dog look...*
"Tresk! I wanna go visit Tanara! Is it okay if I leave for a moment?"

=Tresk=
*The Bothan returned a rather perplexed look...* "Asha, you just got here, lass! What about helpin' these other Jedi get signed up?"

=Asha=
*Asha's pitiful begging look intensified.* "Please? If she's better, I can bring her back with me."

=Tresk=
*The Bothan merely nodded his head, realizing that arguing with Asha wouldn't get him anywhere.*
"Alright - I guess I'll be fine without ya's for now."

*After watching Zalor enter his information for active duty, Darek heads to the back of the shortest line and waits for his turn to register. He doubted he'd see as much action as the others, since he's not a Jedi. Still, it couldn't hurt to put his name in. Maybe his past experiences with the Shadows would guarantee him a few missions.*
