Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

* The crew's worked tirelessly to clear the rubble. Large peices of stone disappeared, and the once well built temple started to look like little more then some rock sticking out of the ground. Some of the sentient workers began to report odd happening as they got closer to the center of the old temple, repurposed from a sith acadamy.

*Xylia walked into the Grounds area and looked around, she wans't really for sure where she once and was hoping someone would spot her as new person quickly, as she was wanting to talk to someone. she sighed lightly at this fact but shrugged knowing the place needed help.*

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

*A warm breeze swept through the clearing, located near the center of the temple's Western gardens. It was a rather warm day on Honoghr, naturally so on a desert planet, and many Jedi had taken to staying inside the cool confines of the temple proper. Two Jedi, however, had not succumb to such physical relief, instead sparring in the clearing as was their daily routine. The two were like a fixture mid-noon, sometimes even drawing a small crowd to watch. It was rare that most people were able to witness two Jedi Masters spar no holds bar, both of which from an Echani heritage. It made for quite a site...*

*Barden leaped back, breaking the saber lock his opponent had held him in for near to a minute. They had only just begun sparring, he still feeling out the woman's defenses and devising a strategy. He would then alternate the strategy multiple times, giving him the ability to read his opponent and eventually devise how to defeat her. Despite the year that had spent sparring daily, she still did things to surprise her, and he knew vice versa. They were both Echani after all, a race renowned for their combat skills.

Taken in a deep breath, he began to circle her as he released it slowly, supplying his muscles with plenty of oxygen. After about fifteen seconds he leaped forward, feinting a low slash at her right knee before spinning his double bladed hilt in his palm and coming at her with a high downward slash to her left shoulder. Only one end of his saber was lit, he saving the other end for when it was needed or a clear opportunity exposed itself.*

Shera smirked as Barden began to circle her, she matching his steps in the opposite direction. She was not surprised when he initiated the attack, knowing he would begin to pry at her defenses in an attempt to read her and devise a plan to defeat her. She was not as aggressive as he, liking to rely more on counter attacks as was the normal technique in Echani Art, the style of Echani dueling. Still, Barden almost always found a way to defeat her, something that always puzzled her...

She cleared her mind as Barden approached, not falling for the feint to her right knee. She could tell by the way his muscles had been tensed that he would not fully commit to the attack, instead opting for a new direction. Sure enough, as she feinted a move to block the attack, the hilt of his saber spun in his palm quicker then one could think possible, the real attack now coming at her left shoulder. She flipped backward, batting away his attack with a flick of her single saber, landing gracefully in a low crouch about 7 feet from where she had been standing.

*Barden was not surprised as Vera leaped backward, knowing her style was one built more around defensive tactics leading to opportunities for counter attacks. He knew it was dangerous to get too aggressive, especially with an opponent as skilled as Shera, still he always pretended to do so while keeping a firm inner eye on his own chances to counter attack. It was what allowed him to win almost every time, the ability to deceive and surprise his opponent.

As she was nearing the completion of her flip he was on the move. He closed the distance between them with two large steps, aiming a low sweeping kick at her forward leg as she landed, aiming to knock her on her back. He had no need to worry about her blade, timing the kick so it would land just as she touched down, while her blade was still in the air and she did not have the momentum to plunge it toward him any faster then a youngling.*

Shera was caught off guard as she saw Barden charge toward her in mid flip. She hadn't expected him to be so aggressive, leading her to believe he was once again trying his subtle mind games on her. Still, she was more then skilled enough to have ample time to react to the leg sweep, which she saw coming. Instead of planting her body as she intended to do, she allowed herself to not stop her backward momentum, sending her in to a backward somersault as she hit the ground, his kick sweeping just under her own legs. She planted her left hand on the ground as she continued her roll, the right holding her saber. As she was almost completely upside down she shoved off the ground, allowing her to propel herself in to a quick back flip, augmented by the Force slightly. She landed on her feet, once again in a low crouch.

*Barden was surprised by her reckless move, and even impressed with her display of acrobatics. She had a much smaller, and lighter frame then himself, allowing her to perform acts he himself would find difficult with quite ease. He did not advance again, instead clapping as she came to a halt on her feet, low and in a clear defensive stance.* "Well done Shera, I see you have been working on your acrobatics." *Beads of sweat rolled down his face and neck, disappearing in to the confines of his loose gray tunic. It was getting to be a very hot day...*

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

*The duel between the two Echani Jedi Masters had raged on for the better part of an hour before it was over. Neither had been able to gain a clear advantage until the end, Shera having begun to grow weary. She was well conditioned, but in the end Barden's masculine endurance was too much for her, leading to him ending the fight with a swift upward palm to her stomach followed by a clean slice of his blade to her mid section, only stopping just before impact. Now the two stood there, breathing heavily as they regained their composure.*

*Barden looked up at the sun, it now at its highest point. It was indeed a very hot day, his delicate skin burning in the ultra violet heat. He wiped his forehead, which was covered in sweat, with his sleeve.* "Well fought my dear, you have grown even more skilled since our last duel."

Shera grinned at the compliment Barden had given her, knowing he was not simply trying to make her defeat any less hard on her confidence. He was never one to do so, instead always so logical and straight forward. It was, after all, a typical Echani trait. "Well I do try my best. One day I will actually be able to best you every time, so don't slack off." She nudged him with her shoulder, laughing softly.

*Barden nudged her back, his deep laugh filling the air.* "Don't worry, I'll always be at my best when it comes to our duels, you can count on that. And as for beating me, good luck." *He grinned mischievously as he finished the statement, teasing her as he enjoyed doing so. He wiped his forehead once again, the sweat only multiplying in quantity.* "Let us go inside and get some hydration packs from the infirmary, I think we overdid ourselves." *He could feel his body beginning to grow weaker then he would normally expect after such a grueling duel, clearly an effect of extreme dehydration. He drew on the Force to bolster his waning strength as he moved to make his way in to the temple proper.*

Shera made an exaggerated facial expression as he teased her, knowing he was not being condescending in the least bit. "I agree, lead the way oh victorious one." She made a slight bowing gesture, mocking him in return to his teasing. She noticed she had a rather difficult time straightening herself, her muscles seeming to scream at her as she strained them. She allowed the Force to flow through her, giving her enough energy until she could make it to the infirmary, knowing Barden was doing the same.

*The pair of Jedi Masters left the garden clearing, disappearing in to the maze like hedgerows until once again reappearing at the far end of the gardens before slipping in to the temple proper, in the direction of the infirmary.*

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

After Rina left the Dukha, she made her way to the Jedi Academy grounds and out into the surrounding garden. She liked the serene peacefulness of it since the darkness had been purged. The IF attack had left a terrible darkside stench on this place and she was glad that it was now gone. Settling herself in a quiet area of the garden, she gathered her thoughts and let the Force flow in and around her.

Sitting in a lotus position she began to meditate on the happenings as of late. She could sense a change was coming, and soon, but she was not yet sure what the change would bring. There was a certain darkness that lingered in the air around the planet but if it was an omen of things to come, she couldn't be sure.

She let her senses stretch out into the Force to see if she could find out more and to let Baylin know she was in the gardens, should he come looking for her. She had a feeling he would be instrumental in her next quest to find where Kayeela's stasis pod was placed when it was taken away from Vader's possession a few years after his turn to the darkside. She knew the pod still existed, and she could faintly feel Kayeela's Force presence from time to time, so she knew the young woman was still alive....somewhere in the galaxy.

Deepening her meditation, she delved deeper into the Force, letting it bathe her in it's light. After about two hours or so, she felt the faint inkling of a Force aura of her descendant again. She couldn't pinpoint and exact location but she knew in her heart and mind that she was close. Flashes of a misty planet formed then was gone almost as soon as it appeared. Well hell....mist covered how many planets in the galaxy? That would be like finding a needle in a haystack. Not to be discouraged, she continued to meditate in the beauty of the academy grounds....

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

=Bayin's Story=

Bayling had been in the mist of watching the younglings training when he felt it was time to start looking for someone again. As he left the younglings to there training he had the strangist feeling he knee right where she was. How, or why he had this feeling he wasn't sure; Yet he deicded to follow it anyways. The feeling told him Shaewe would be in the Jedi grounds, and this brought a feint smile to his face. He remember that had been where he had first really meet her. It was also the same location he had met Master Zik also, though for only a brief moment. Since then he had not seen Zik, to much had happen since then.

But now he could feel Shaewe reaching out to him, telling him where she was located. Bayling was all to glad to come, hoping that it was finally the time for his training to begin. Though over the past few month's he had learned a bit from just sitting in the back watching the younglings. As Baylin rounded the corner in the the Academy grounds his smile grew larger, seeing Shaewe sitting there. She looked so peacefull there, in meditation he assumed.

He knew as much that interrupting her meditation was rude to do, so he removed his shoes by the entrance leaving him barefooted. Wearing only his pants and a snug black shirt. Bayling took the time to roll his pants up to his knees before moving again. He walked silently over towards her taking a seat a few feet away. Crossing both his legs, his arms came to rest on the knees of each leg. He glanced up at her, she was beautiful. But he doubted that someone like her would give him much more then a second of her time, outside of Training. So with the picture of her face in his mind he closed his eyes slowly, slowing his breath down. Clearing his head of unneccsary thoughts, he opened himself partly to the force. Something he was still practicing, and allowed it to flow slowly into him. He had learned how to grasp it, to allow its flow into him. But much more outside that he hadn't quite gotten a hold of. For now he was ok with just meditating.

When she was ready, she would adress him.

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

*Exhale.

A faint wind blew across the courtyard as Jonca stood with his eyes closed and his arms at his sides. His white cloak ruffled in the wind as Jonca extended himself through the Force, feeling his surroundings, waiting for something. He was in a secluded area of the courtyard, well away from the other Jedi in the area, so it was easy to tell that there was someone else nearby.

Except this time, he almost didn't sense it in time.

With a flash of speed, Jonca backflipped out of the way of a metal staff that crashed into the pavement. Jonca landed lightly on his feet, and opened his eyes to see the training droid standing in front of him. Jonca turned his body, putting his left side forward, and waited. The droid jumped into action, swinging the staff at the back of Jonca's knees. Jonca somersaulted backwards and landed on his back and hands before pushing himself back to his feet.

The droid raised the staff back up and came forward, driving the weapon at Jonca's face. Jonca leaned to his left, his right hand moving up to intercept the staff with his right arm. As the staff missed Jonca's head, he spun his arm, grabbing the staff with his right hand before putting his weight on his right foot and executing a snap-kick with lis left leg directed at the droid's midsection. The kick landed, and the droid moved backwards, letting go of the staff. Jonca grabbed the staff with his left hand, and spun it over his head to bring it at the droid's left shoulder, and followed with a quick strike to the left knee, right flank, and right head in sequence.

As Jonca stepped back, the droid fell to the ground in submission. After a few moments, the droid got up from the ground, and stood in front of Jonca.*

:: Impressive, Sir. I will need to recalibrate my combat systems for next time. ::

*Jonca didn't respond, he only nodded and tossed the staff back to the droid before it turned and left. Jonca took a deep breath and sat down on the ground, closing his eyes to run through the quick spar in his mind, analyzing his movements and responses.*

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

{Amarina's Story}

She felt his presence draw near as her meditation lightened. Silently, she sat with her eyes closed, contemplating what she'd sensed and seen through the Force, pertaining to Kayeela, while Baylin made his way to her and sat down quietly. She could tell that he had learned a little bit on calling the Force to him. She felt it when he drew to himself and let it flow through him. Smiling to herself, she slowly opened her eyes as she cocked her head a little to the side.

"You've learned how to let the Force flow into you. That's good, jeune. It's one of the basic steps. Are you ready to begin your training now?....and hopefully without anymore interruptions."

She gave a half smile, knowing that Baylin was now ready to begin, but she wanted to actually hear the words. Glancing around the gardens, she had been very aware of another presence near the courtyard, during her meditations. Lightside in nature, whoever it was, the person seemed to be engaged in some sort of combat scenario as the sounds of a hard object hitting metal could be faintly heard. The sounds ended after a few moments and all that could be heard were the occasional fading voices from others within the vicinity. Letting her own aura flare out, she silently welcomed the other, presumed Jedi (Jonca), join them if he or she so wished.

Looking back to Baylin, she was already working out a training regimen for him in her mind.

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

Jedi Temple - Elevators

*From the hangar bay regions, both Master Kry'fey and his accompanying student Quan, made their way into the heart of the Jedi Temple itself.* *Stone of all variants, marble both black and white, as wel as more contemporary materials such as polished metals and plastics made up the majority of the architecture of the Jedi Temple. At every entrance sat a pair of ever watching Jedi Guardian statues, their stone hooded faces covered and keeping their identities unknown. Fountains dotted the small acloves that were set apart from the main hallways where small groups of students and apprentices practiced their meditations and studies. Classrooms dotted the hallway as they made headway towards the center most portion of the Temple, the Council elevators.*

*Climbing aboard the small four-man elevator, the pair of them seemed uneasy as the doors proceeded to close and the small glass box rise up. Slowly at first, the lift gained momentum as it sped upwards to the top most portion of the Temple, the Council chambers.* *After a few silent moments shared between Kry'fey and Quan, the elevator pinged softly and the doors parted, a gust of fresh air hitting both men in the faces. Parting to reveal a small, yet comforting, room with very little in terms of furniture, the pair stepped out and would immediately see three other beings in the room. The first, an older human male of small stature. A long flowing gray beard adorned his face and there was little, almost no, hair atop his head. Tan Jedi robes reminiscent of the older Jedi Order clothed his body and a single Lightsaber hilt was attached to his belt. He was the Council leader, having formed the original Jedi Order and Temple on Honoghr before the Prince had taken a keen interest in the operations of the Jedi on Honoghr.* *He was stationed by one of the many multi paneled viewports the Council chambers possessed, watching closely as traffic passed the Temple by from a distance.*

*The second being, a more younger female Rodian, was standing beside the entrance to the elevator and granted both a large smile as they entered the Chambers. She was one of the newest members of the Council, having only served for four months previous to this encounter. Adorned in simple green Jedi Robes similar to those of the Corellian Academy, she carried no Lightsaber on her person as her focus was more centered on teaching the profuse arts of attacking and defending solely with the Force. She was a Consular to the heart, and had only trained with her Lightsaber to advance past the Apprentice level of the Academy.* "Welcome back to the Temple, Master Kry'fey.. and who is this?" *she said excitedly, turning to Quan.* "You brought a friend."

*Last, and not to be forgotten, was the Councils more heated and hardened member. A silent member of the Council, the only Force sensitive Norgi the Order had found as of yet on Honoghr, and a survivor of the Empires strangle hold on the planet of Honoghr before it's fall. Out of any, he would be the one who would prove difficult for Quan to gain reentry into the Academy and to convince.*

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

*As the two men entered the hallways of the temple Quan looked about with earnest, seeing the pillars that stood before they entered had given him the feeling of security again, one of true greatness. Then as they walked through the hallways he still kept the image of the pillars in his mind, focusing on their strength and craftsmanship, walking just behind and to the side of Master Kry'fey he looked into the classrooms and saw the students learning from Jedi Masters, they had all been younglings thus far, he expected them to be growing in age as they proceeded to the innermost classrooms of the temple, and so they were older the further he continued alongside the Bothan. Seeing the classrooms had filled him with hope to continue his path to the trials, as he was becoming older he only dreamed of them but hoped that here on Honoghr the trials would become a reality. Once they entered the lifts the silence was not because Quan had nothing to say but he was nervous, worried about what the council would tell him, and worried that they would not approve of him continuing his training.*

*Emerging from the lift behind Master Kry'fey Quan returned the smile to the Rodian and bowed to the council member, speaking his name.* "My name is Quan Vanthe." *Quan then looked to Master Kry'fey and waited for the council to converge, they would hear his story and they would decide his fate as a Jedi, this was where he had wanted to come for furthering his training and wished nothing more than to convice the council. As they began to sit down Quan looked around at the room, very simple, yet comforting, he opened his mind to The Force and allowed the councilors to see his thoughts, not wanting them to misunderstand his intentions.*

*Taking two steps forward to be just in front of Master Kry'fey Quan folded his hands in front of him and began to speak.* *Quan was nervous, but portrayed no emotion as he began to speak, recalling all of the happenings of his former Master, falling in battle, his wandering since the day of his Master's death, and how he came to Honoghr. Recalling that he had sat in the spaceport for two weeks time and meditated during the day, eating very little and trying to reach out to the Jedi of the Temple, but he had not been strong enough to reach them, and a fog had eclipsed his vision through the Force. Finally he ended his speech to the council and submitted to their questioning.* "I beg of you councilors, allow me to continue my training on the path to the trials, I have lived for the sole purpose of this and wish to continue here on Honoghr with those who are here." *Quan looked over his shoulder to the Bothan Jedi Master whom had found him in the spaceport and smiled. Still looking at Master Kry'fey he spoke again.* "If it had not been for Master Kry'fey I would not be here, and for that I am thankful, I simply wish to prove that he did not waste his time in finding me."

*Looking back to the councilors he lowered his head and bowed, he awaited the councilor's questioning, and continued to open his mind to The Force.*

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

*The Council members listened as Quan boasted his case to them. No one spoke or mad noise while he gave them his story.* *They did, however, gather around the few seats in the room and take them, listening carefully and weighing their options. It seemed to everyone that there was but two choices in this matter. The first, grant Quan admittance to the Jedi Temple of Honoghr and allow him to train further and learn more from the Jedi here. The second, and more grim, was to deny him access and send him away from the Temple, never to learn the arts of the Jedi again. They would not do that, for that option always lay in the path of the darkside. Denying a Jedi further training, especially when he had travelled so far to come to Honoghr and seek them out, would only serve to solidify his accession into darkness and to become a Sith Lord.*

*When he had finished, the young female Rodian nodded her head and rose from her seat. Carefully planning her next series of words, she spoke and commanded respect in the room.* "If we were to allow you access to the Temple, tell me Jedi Quan, what would you study? You surely have a main focus on the arts of the Jedi that you wish to learn. How often would you attend lessons, how careful would you be to avoid skirting the edges of the dark side, how well attentive to the Light are you, and do you plan on being."

*All turned back to Quan, after hearing the female Rodian Council member speak her piece on the subject.. eager to hear his reply.*

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

*Quan still stood as the council members waited for his response to the Rodian Jedi Master's question, his mind focused on the Force as he chose his response carefully. Knowing that the wrong response would see him dismissed from the Jedi Temple and all consideration to continue his training the ways of the Jedi. Lifting his head to speak again the words came forth. Looking between them all equally.*

"My main focus has always been to learn the ways of the Jedi Guardian. Although I have had interest in Sentinel as well. Lightsaber combat has been my strongest ability as well as telekenisis." *As he spoke he wondered if there was anything else that he had wanted to do, but nothing came to his mind as he pondered, knowing that he had always wanted to be a Guardian rather than a Sage, rather to defend the citizens of the Republic, something within him had urged him for this.*

*Looking back to the council members Quan continued to answer the questions of the Rodian Jedi Master.* "Any lessons that would be given for me I would attend gladly, my only wish is to continue to the trials. I had trained two years in the field with my former Master to advance to the trials, so if lessons will advance me for the trials I will do so." *Pondering the last part of the question for a moment Quan closed his eyes and reached out to The Force, focusing on the innermost part of himself he searched for The Force's guidance as he spoke once more.*

"I have no feelings of hatred or malice, I seek only to protect and serve, I have felt compassion for the citizens of different places and felt no urge of hatred, no feelings of contempt, and no thoughts of pursuing the darkside, I do not fear it, because I know that there is no solidity in the ways of the Sith, they seek refuge in their emotion and pain, I seek only the fortitude of The Force, and through knowledge we are stronger, and therefore comes peace."

*Quan lowered his head as he finished answering the questions from the Rodian Jedi Master, hoping that his response had given the councilors what they sought in him, but waited for further questioning.*

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

*Each Councilor looked to the others, their heads nodding in solemn agreement.* *His stature true, his voice solid. Quan was appearing as any Jedi here in the Temple should, proud. They would certainly allow him to gain access to the Temples vast amount of knowledge and teachings. A Master, probably Arsdel Kry'fey if he wished, would be assigned to his further training and missions, and a class schedule would be given to the young Jedi.*

"Very well," *the Rodian said again, her head bowing in respect.* "It is then with my ability as Councilor of the Jedi Temple of Honoghr that I induct you, Quan Vanthe, into the Jedi Temple as a Jedi Apprentice under the tutelage of..." *Pausing, she turned her eyes on Arsdel, who had been leaning against the wall of the turbolift waiting for their talks to be complete. He seemed stunned for a moment, before understanding what they would ask of him.* "Master Kry'fey."

*The Bothan Master had nothing to say on the matter, and simply stood attentive and bowed at the waist, accepting his position with honor. The two of them, Kry'fey and Quan, had seemed to get along quite well thus far and if the personalities continued to match and pair as they had the two would grow a bond that would be inseparable by any events they encountered. They would train together, learn from one another, and grow as a pair. Master and Apprentice.*

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

*Quan looked up at the councilors as they accepted him into the temple's academy smiling at them he bowed and then listened again as the Rodian Jedi Master said that he would be the apprentice of Master Kry'fey as well. This had been something he could only have wished for seeing as Master Kry'fey had been the one to find him, he had wished for him to become his own Master. Bowing again to the councilors he spoke one last time.*

"Thank you Masters." *Turning around from the councilors and then before Master Kry'fey he smiled and bowed his head to his new Master.* "Master." *Quan looked at his new Master and waited for him to direct Quan to what he would be doing, and hoped that his lessons would be challenging, something more than what his previous Master had given him, Quan looked to the Bothan Jedi Master in wait as he was overjoyed with the happenings in the council chambers.*

"Shall we," *The elder Bothan said indicating towards the now open turbolift doors that had opened once the Council meeting had been adjourned. Entering the lift himself, the Bothan made room for his new Padawan and once aboard, pressed the button to take them both back down to the Academy floors. Silence filled the lift as the descended back down to the lower levels of the Jedi Temple, and in that silence, Arsdel contemplated his next moves with his new apprentice. There was still very much work to be done with his return to the Academy, and his Apprentice would need to be given some busy work while he tidied up his office and instructional classroom.. and then a thought hit him.* "Once we arrive on the ground, I'm going to need to take care of some administrative duties. In the meantime, I'd like you to find the Workshop and take a look around. I'm sure you'll find something to keep you occupied while I see to my duties for the Academy.

Say, we meet back at the lifts in two hours time?" *He asked, just as the lift settled down on the ground floor of the Temple. The doors pinged open and the noise and lights of the instructional floor of the Temple filled the lift quickly. This would be Quan's stop, if he accepted his Masters instructions.*

Baylin exhauled slowly as he opened his eyes and release his hold on the force. Smiling as she spoke to him. He felt like a kid being congraduatlated on doing something right. With what he had witnessed around here already getting any training with out interuption would be ny impossible. But he nodded to her in agreement. Hell he had even noticed a new pressence join them in the grounds since he had sat down. From the noise he assumed it was combat training.

I am ready Shaewe, for what ever you ask of me.

Finally things would start to get really interesting. Baying could already imagine the things he might be asked to do, and places he may go through out his time. Besides he was ready for the new chapter in his life, and Shaewe was it.

*Riding the turbolift with his new Master Quan focused on the Force as it continued to lead him in the direction that was best suited for him, listening to Master Kry'fey's words he nodded in agreement with the Bothan and stepped out once the doors slid apart he turned and faced his new Master and spoke.* "Would you feel it necessary that I should construct a new Lightsaber Master Kry'fey? And to get rid of this armor?" *Quan tapped his armor plating and looked to his new master with hope that he would be rid of it, all the time he had spent inside it he felt caged, as though it held him back, noticing that it slowed his movements far more than it did any good at all. The concept had been well meant, but alas all it had done was hold him back from the furtherment of his abilities. He also noted that he would need a new lightsaber at some point or another and now seemed to be the appropriate time for such things. Although he knew that the focusing of the crystal would take some time for it to be connected to him through the Force, which two hours time would not be sufficient if he recalled his training before correctly, more along the lines of a day if memory served it's purpose. He looked at his master again and spoke.* "If this would be your instruction, I could gather the materials necessary for a new lightsaber, as well as discard the armor and leave it for repurpose, and update my datapad for the lesson schedules that will be assigned, and pick up a new commlink as well. I do not believe that I will have enough focus in two hours to completely construct a new lightsaber. What do you think Master?"

*Looking to the Bothan that still stood within the turbolift he waited for response, still focusing on the Force to calm his nerves, a lot had happened and he sought the inner peace that he knew was available to him through the Force, everything changing had cuaght him off balance and placed him in a state of unrest, but meditation and gathering of materials would calm him.*

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

"That plan sounds solid, take care to use your time wisely- I may pop in to check and see how you are faring." *The old Bothan chuckled, remembering back to his youth and training here on Honoghr years before the Temple had fully and truly been opened for the populations of the Galaxy to come and train in.* "if two hours isn't enough, take as much time as you need. I have many new duties to attend too as your new Master and finding classes and instructions for you to partake in will be most time consuming. I'll see to my duties and you're free to do as you wish, constructing your new Lightsaber if you want."

*Nodding his head and smiling, Kry'fey extended a hand and revealed the ground floor of the Jedi Temple. This was the floor in which both he and Quan had passed through earlier, where classrooms dotted the hallways full of eager young Students and workshops dominated each corner of the large floor. Each one held within it the means for any young Jedi to construct a Lightsaber as well as any smaller mechanical device that would benefit a Jedi in his training.*

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

*Quan nodded to his Master, speaking once more to the Bothan Jedi Master.* "Yes Master, I will await your return. Thank you." *Turning from Master Kry'fey and walking down the hall Quan reached out through The Force and moved toward the workshop at the corner closest to the opening of the grounds.**In that corner were the pillars that he had seen when he entered the temple with Master Kry'fey, the pillars represented the strength of peace for Quan, the image comforted Quan as he entered the workshop doorway, speaking to the attendant droid of the workshop, offering his clearance as an apprentice he began looking through the inventory lists, searching for the materials that he needed for the construction of his new lightsaber. Once all of the materials had been gathered by the attendant droid, Quan picked a datapad from the shelving unit as well as it's matching commlink, placing them both within the folds of his robes he removed the robes, revealing the silver plate armor that had been given to him by his previous Master, offering it to the droid to send tot he storage facility, once everything had been removed Quan then replaced his robes again and looked to the droid, speaking to it about the lightsaber crystals that were in stock. Opening himself to The Force further he followed the droid to the chamber within the workshop that held the crystals the order had gathered. Feeling the Force leading him to one section he followed it's guidance.

After a moment's time Quan studied a single box of crystals, the top opened up and he lifted his hand, drawing on the Force he closed his eyes and held his hand flat, palm opened, waiting, drawing to the crystal that had drawn him to this location in the chamber he continued to focus until the crystal floated from it's container slowly and rested itself in the open palm of his hand. Opening his eyes he looked at the power crystal, blue in color, and from it's feelings it was strong enough to stabilize a dual-phase saber that he had in mind, this was truly what he had wanted.

With all of the materials for the lightsaber in a small box Quan walked to the construction rooms, a separate room altogether from where the droid kept shop, the smaller room afforded no luxury other than minimal lighting and a small pad on the floor for meditation. Placing the box on the floor beside the pad Quan lowered the hood of his robes, setting himself down into his normal meditation position, crossing his legs and placing his hands open at his knees, closing his eyes and focusing on the Force.

Within moments Quan lifted his right hand, the main hand that would use his new weapon, focusing on The Force to imbue the crystal with the Force that ran through his body, to connect the crystal to himself, and to the style that it would be used for. Focusing further on the crystal Quan knew that the Force would take a segment of time to imbue the crystal to it's fullest potential, that had been shown to him in his previous construction process, all-be-it the process he had not taken part in, which had proven to be wrong for Quan in the end. Focusing on the Force he continued his meditation on the crystal, focusing all of his control and focus onto the main piece of the lightsaber.*

==Six hours later===

*After the hours of meditation the Force pulled Quan away from the crystal, showing to him that the crystal was well prepared, having already been forged to a certain point by the masters that worked within the temple, Quan was satisfied with his work, continuing to hold the crystal in the middle of the room with the Force, holding his concentration Quan lifted the other pieces of his new weapon to the center of the room as well, eyes closed focused to the point of nothing interfering other than a sudden interruption, but even at that point he would not lose total focus. When the materials all were placed appropriately in the middle of the air before him Quan lifted his other hand, bringing them closer to the center of his mass, placing one hand beneath the objects, and one hand above them, palms facing the materials, the silver casing started to move around the rest of the components that were assembled, the power switch, small and gold placed perfectly into the cylindrical sheathing of the weapons components, the crystal began glowing as the pieces started to fit together as Quan focused further, reaching to the depths of his abilities. Each second that passed felt as an eternity to him as he continued his focus. The pieces all meshed together, focusing on the Force Quan made subtle changes to the mechanisms workings as the weapon completed it's fitting. The dual-phase process would work only when the user's hand converged on a slim trigger on the under side of the cylinder, elongating the blade for sudden and swift length change, something that would prove useful in many different ways and a specialization that Quan had began working on during his previous training.*

*With a flash Quan's eyes opened and the lightsaber still floated in the air before him, standing from the meditative position on the soft padding he continued to focus on the Force, letting the blade fall into his right hand slowly, the weight of the weapon placed well and balance within his grasp, the silver hilt with it's golden switch felt comfortable, the length was just at above average as his hands were slightly larger than the normal, or standard according to some research he had completed during his isolation, finally Quan looked to the box that still held the small leather straps that would wrap around the hilt just beneath the power switch, lifting them with his hands rather than exerting the Force for such a thing he wrapped the hilt of his new weapon, until the proper time of his trials at least, so that the comfort of the hilt would be better placed. Upon the time of his passing the trials he would instead etch the markings of his rank amongst the order, having known the etching would be something that would only be fitting when he became a knight of the order and a guardian if all things worked out the ways that he hoped. Standing at the entrance to the room now the doors slid open and he walked out, expecting to see Master Kr'fey within a few moments, Quan looked to the droid that kept watch over the workshop and nodded to him, in appreciation for the solitude of his construction, he was now parched and walked to the station that held the caf, taking a small cup he drank the caf in silence and withdrew his datapad, hoping to see information concerning his new class schedule from his master.*

Re: Jedi Academy Grounds

*Exiting the workshop and walking toward the first classroom that he had been assigned to Quan lifted his hood and pondered The Force, concerning the matters of which his path to becoming a Jedi Knight, he had hoped for so long to be.* *As he entered the classroom he lowered the hood and sat at the designated table for himself as the other students entered the room, the Jedi Master entered the room lastly and began lecturing on the necessities of the Jedi Guardian, how they were the protectors of the citizens of the Republic, and how they as Jedi would be asked to defend the innocence of the citizens. Quan listened as he duitifully took notes of the class, all of the information being given was no more or less than a review for him, as he had been given teachings on such as a youngling, but knowing that the Force would guide him Quan also knew that this would be the best way to earn the trust of the council and move toward the goal of the trials, and it would increase his knowledge as well, giving him subtle reminders of everything he had been taught in the past.

As the class ended Quan stood and walked behind the other young Jedi, heading in the direction of his next class, the meditation chambers were the next designation for his day, and would be the last class for him on the day, swiftly walking he reached the classroom before everyone else, approaching the older Jedi Master, he spoke to the master briefly, introducing himself and taking his place as the other students arrived, listening to the direction of the Master in charge of the class he smiled and waited for them to be assigned their meditations, he could hardly wait for the day that he would train for battle meditation further, but today was not that day.*

*As the Jedi Master indicated their own personal meditation chambers that would be observed by him Quan stood and walked to the meditation chamber he was assigned, pulling his robes around him tightly as he walked slowly and then crossed his legs over the hard floor, lowering himself, he noticed several objects placed around the room, varying in range of size he had been assigned to focus on the Force and to lfit the objects until they all were risen from the floor, and to keep them in their risen state until the end of the meditation cycle, which would be four hours.*

*Removing his robes and placing them on the rack just beside the chambers doors Quan then sat back down, crossing his legs once more and closing his eyes, placing his hands open and facing outward, resting on the knees of his crossed legs he focused on the Force and allowed it to flow through him.* *Within moments he could feel the Force ebb through him, allowing him to feel the objects in the room, a small cannister of water, then also a datapad, and then a crate, and finally a very large stone, weighing just about the same as a small speeder would. Focusing his attention on the smallest of items first the began to rise to the air, slowly he lowered his head in meditation as they floated, drawing on the powers of the Force as he then focused on the items staying in their place, after several more moments the items sat still and waited as they drifted in the air.

Focusing his remaining attention on the large stone that sat behind him, Quan drew on the Force. Moments later the large stone began to rise, the other items not faultering in the slightest as he focused. With the focus of the Force flowing through him the large stone moved upward and held in place at the same height as the other items. Quan did not tremble as the weight of the stone was ever more so evident by the focus he filtered through the Force. The items were all lifted, and now he must focus for the rest of the meditation cycle, the remaining three hours and forty five minutes. Drawing on the Force to foritfy his resolve the items in the chamber did not move, breathing slowly Quan's eyes remained shut for awhile, nearly an hour later his head raised and the items did as well, his eyes opened and then the items stopped spinning in slow circles but remained ever still as he stared at the chamber wall still focusing on the Force.*

==Nearly three hours later==

*As the chime to indicate the meditation cycle had finished Quan lowered the items softly to the floor through the Force, his body drenched in sweat, his muscles tense from the long cycle of holding the large stone in place and still, standing as the stone finally sat down softly against the chamber floorhe stood and withdrew his robe from the rack and emerged from the chamber to see the rest of the students watching him as he emerged, the Jedi Master looked at him with a smile and spoke to the class.*
==Jedi Master==
*Raising a hand in the direction of Quan.* "Class, as the first student of your term to complete the meditation cycle assigned Quan Vinthe will have my recommendation to the council for evalutation of this skill set. If you wish to ask Quan questions please do so. He has more training in meditation than is needed for this beginner's class, and thus...." *Smiling at Quan as she spoke.* "Does not need to attend this class any longer, but rather have private meditation sessions with me until his trials."

==End==

*Astonished at the words of the Jedi Master Quan lowered his head to bow in grattitude to his teacher and wondered what Master Kry'fey would have to say on the matter. Quan continued to walk away from the chamber doors as several of the students, much younger than he was, asked him how he had learned to control his meditations by his age, not wishing to discuss that all he had done for several months before coming to Honoghr was meditate on the Force, he simply did not answer them with the responses they wanted, he spoke to them softly.* "Everything Master says in this class will bring you to the understanding of the Force. I promise." *As he knelt down and placed a hand on the Nautalon Youngling's shoulder he smiled and looked to the Master standing at the front of the class. Standing again he placed his robes around his shoulders and spoke to the Master.* "May I go to the refresher Master?"

*With a nod from the Master Quan walked out of the classroom and headed for the refresher, and then would go and eat his dinner with the other students in the mess hall.*
