Re: Keldabe

*Feralas went into an alley way as his ear piece activated and Vincent's comm message came through. Feralas pulled out his datapad and ejected the wrist mounted GPS device, which was loaded with Keldabes map and Vincent's location. Feralas tucked the datapad away before strapping the GPS to his wrist and leaving the alley way again.
Thankfully due to Feralas' shady activities in past years, he had been able to secure some... restricted access technology, which included the wrist mounted GPS as well as the wireless ear piece for his comm link. Both had proven more then their worth.
Today was no different as Feralas made his way across town towards Vincent. He would hopefully not arrive too late should things go south, but in case, he was ready to pull out his hammer and deliver a swift hammer blow to any opponents.
As he arrived at the forge, Feralas cautiously entered into the building where there was wall fulls of astoundingly smithed armour and weapons. Feralas was almost like a child in a candy store as he walked over to one of the walls and began to examine the craftsmanship of a blade*

Re: Keldabe

Kot placed the now wrapped sword under the counter before turning his attention back to the young Mando. He had said he was indeed a Kandosii, and that he was the clan leader. It had seemed events had progressed without his knowledge, something he found interesting. There was very little he didn't hear, then or now. He did indeed hear of such a ship, a very long time ago. He decided to share the information, and a little extra.

"Well, the clan leader huh? What an unexpected surprise. I am Kot Kandosii, exiled smith of the Kandosii Clan, which actually makes us enemies.
Kot chuckled.
"Don't worry, I am not going to try and kill you. I can tell you I have indeed heard of such a ship, although it was long before your time since it was ever spoken of. It revolves around a little of our clan's history, which you clearly seem to be oblivious to. I wonder just how much you really know about Kandosii."
Kot grinned at his tactic, showing the boy he may be the leader of the clan, but Kot was his elder.
"Now, ready for a tale? Long ago, I'd say somewhere around one or two-hundred BBY, Kandosii was one of the most powerful clans around. Naturally, being so powerful, many wished to be our allies. One such offer, the clan received, was from the Prudii Clan. They operated in secret, more spies then anything else. In fact, several well noted assassins were Prudiis."
He paused before continuing.
"Not long after this alliance was formed, the Prudiis managed to get in to a little trouble. A few clans decided to hunt them down after they found out one of the clan members was behind a rather famous assassination. The Prudiis turned to Kandosii clan for help, and of course, we did what we could without inciting an all out clan war. We offered them a place to hide their most valued possession, a near undetectable ship. Where it was hidden, I am not sure. Our clan had many settlements and staging posts across the Outer Rim. You would have to find a more privileged elder of the clan than I for that."

That was all he knew, in regards to the ship. He also knew many worlds were Kandosii settlements had once existed, he having forged a good number of items for them. Should they perhaps give him some sort of list, of possible planets, he could at least narrow it down for them.

*Vincent remained silent for quite some time, digesting everything he had just heard. Not only had he found another living member of the clan, albeit an exiled one, but he had also established a huge lead in the search for the ship. He knew he would have to consult with Jerris regarding the matter. If he could give Vincent a list of planets associated with the ship, perhaps Kot could point out which ones, if any, had held Kandosii settlements. It was a long shot, but it was still the best chance they had at finally coming across a credible lead to investigate further.

Finally having finished processing the information, he turned his attention back to Kot.*
"Well, another long lost vod, an unexpected surprise for me as well. If you wish, you can join the clan again, we would be more then glad to have you, despite what you may have done in the past to earn such a harsh punishment. I am sure you are much wiser now." *Vincent nodded his head, a show of respect to his elder.

As he was about to finish speaking, he noticed Feralas enter the shop, via his 360 degree vision. He turned hos head, nodding to him, then turning back to Kot.*
"Kot Kandosii, allow me to introduce another member of our clan. This is Feralas Kandosii, the individual whom I had mentioned earlier." *He turned slightly sideways, allowing Feralas to speak as he was eying a particular blade very closely.*

Re: Keldabe

*As soona s everyone was gone from the inn Jerris finally left to set out to look for whatever information he could find. He knew there were still some old timers around who had once been friends with the Prudii clan but he wasn't sure how much they would know. So as he walked down from the room and past the inn desk then out the door he was looking at his datapad looking up some people he used to know. He eventually just linked his datapad to his HUD so he could walk around without having to stare down at the damn thing. Now he was walking along the streets of Keldabe with a bunch of data streaming down the side of his HUD.

For the moment it was listing just who was still alive and who had finally passed away or children they might have at least whatever he had known about them. Most of them lived outside of Keldabe and so he would visit them later for now there was one old mando he planned on visiting as he knew he used to be a good friend of his father's. After about 30 minutes of walking Jerris finally found himself standing outside of the house that the old man lived in now. Jerris walked up to it and knocked on the door and of course the old man was the one who came to greet him.

Jerris planned on keeping the conversation sort and so he just asked a few basic questions about the Prudii clan. It took only about 20 minutes to learn all that the man could remember about his questions though still it wasn't much help and so he moved on. Walking down the streets some more Jerris was out hunting down someone that had actually worked with the Prudii clan before. He might prove to have some useful information and so it was worth trying to find him.*

*Feralas turned towards Kot as he was introduced by Vincent, nodding his head in greeting. Feralas could tell Kot was his elder and so waited for him to speak first, as was the respectful manner.
Feralas already had many questions he would like to ask Kot, however he knew only two really mattered, as the rest would most likely be answered later on. For now though, Feralas remained silent*

Re: Keldabe

Kot eyed Vincent closely, could he trust such a man? He had not even asked what Kot had done to be exiled, something he found strange. Still, he did hold his loyalty to the clan, to this day. He did not take long to make his decision.

"I accept your invitation ner'vod. Perhaps I can one day earn honor in the eyes of my vode once again."

He now turned his attention to the man introduced as Feralas, another member of the clan. He did not recognize the man, nor his name, but if Vincent said he was a Kandosii then that was all he needed. MAndalorians had a long history of adopting people in to their clans, the main reason Mandalorians weren't a race but a culture. He himself was a zabrak, a race not common within the culture.

"Su'cuy ner'vod. Welcome to my forge. I see you are eying one of my blades very closely. Have an interest in the blacksmith arts? Or do you just enjoy blades?"

He already knew the answer to the question, able to see the silent yearning in the boy's eyes. He could tell Feralas had many questions for him, which he would gladly answer should Vincent feel they had the time. If not, he would answer them along their journey.

Vor'e ner'vod. It is an Ijaa to be here. Well I personally prefer my hammer over a sword, So it is the blacksmithing arts that interest me. Since this is your forge, you must have made all these fine works of art? Since you are joining us, might I request to hibirar the ancient art of blacksmithing from a master such as yourself?

*Feralas hoped he was not being too forward with his request, given their trips main objective was to track down a ship. However that did not mean Feralas could not obtain his own goal along the way, which was to become a blacksmith. As always the vow he made to his father, before he had died came back to him*

Re: Keldabe

*Jerris had spent most of his time going from one old friend to another to see if they had heard anything about the Prudii clan a long time ago. Eventually he had found someone that knew a fair bit about his clan since he had been friends with them for some time. He eventually found out his entire clan had been friends with them and that was a relief to find another old ally. This man he had sat down and talked to for some time even drank some Tihaar with him as they talked on and on about the old days of their clans.

Eventually Jerris had asked if he had heard anything about an old Prudii ship that was mostly used by the entire clan. The man didn't seem the least bit surprised by the question and told him all that he knew. Apparently when the Prudii clan had made enemies with some people who turned out to be more trouble than the contract was worth they had set out to hide the clan. They had spread out among their many allies and acted as if they were a part of their clans until the whole thing blew over. Of course the only reason they did such a thing was because this group of people wanted to wipe out the entire Prudii clan and was at first successful in killing many of them.

This made Jerris wonder just who they had made enemies with and when he asked that got a reaction of amusement out of the old man. He said it as if Jerris should of known and honestly he should have because it was none other than the sith. They had killed an important member to an old group of sith and so they pledged vengeance on them and went through with it too. The old man talked on and on how his clan and the Prudiis took on the sith together. He said they had killed many of them proving the mandalorians were not to be taken so lightly even in the face of a group of angry force users.

After that long but slightly pointless conversation Jerris learned that the ship had been taken along with a group of Prudiis to the Kandosii clan and there they hid. That was a surprise to Jerris but yet he wanted to know where the ship was. All he got from the man was "You know how your clan was with their secrets they didn't even tell me which planet it was on just some far away settlement that belonged to the Kandosii clan." All Jerris could do was sigh because that meant another dead end in his search for the missing ship. The man seeing how disappointed Jerris was he got him to follow him into his house and he took him down into a lower level of his home. There he unlocked a secret safe and took out an old datapack and handed it to Jerris. He had explained that it was an old record of the Prudii clan history that was given to his clan for safe keeping and that it might hold some useful information for Jerris other than that he couldn't help him.

Now since that conversation Jerris had been walking around Keldabe looking through each datacard that was in the datapack on his datapad. He was learning a lot of stuff about his clan’s history and what they had done throughout the years but still nothing on where the ship had gone. Getting a little frustrated Jerris started to skip to some of the last datacards since the hiding of the clan would have happened near the end of their recorded history. Eventually he found one that was showing the main places the Prudii clan had spread out to when the sith had started to hunt them. In that last bit of information he found reference to the Kandosii clan and there it was Wayland was the planet they had taken the ship too.

Mumbling to himself he activated his com to open a channel with Vincent to tell him what he had learned. He had gone through all this trouble just to find out that was where it was on a planet he didn't even have the record to. When he started to talk with Vincent he would probably hear the frustration in Jerris's voice as it had been a long day talking with old timers.*

:: Hey Vincent I found where the ship might be or at least where it was suppose to have been left. Supposedly your clan had a settlement on Wayland if that is correct or not that is where it should be. ::

Re: Keldabe

Kot eyed the young Mando, Feralas, closely. The boy wanted to be his apprentice, something he was not expecting. This would not only mean he would have to take this boy under his realm of responsibility, but would likely have to leave Mandalore as well. They were searching for a hidden ship after all, and they couldn't quite do that remaining in one place. He thought for quite some time, weighing the pros and cons of the situation. If he stayed, he would have to deal with finding some miracle to pay his loans and most likely have his entire forge repossessed by the bank. If he went, however, he could simply let them take it and start anew. He could easily take most of his equipment and pack it in to his old freighter, he having customized it to be a make shift forge. It came in handy when he needed to smith while away on business, or other ventures. In the end, the pros definitely out weighed the cons.

"Very well Feralas. I hereby accept you as my apprentice and promise to share with you all of the knowledge I have on metal working. I hope you do not disappoint."

After confirming the boys new role, he responded to Vincent's inquiry about Wayland.

"Yes, we had a settlement there. It is rather old though. Hasn't been used for a few centuries if memory serves me right. It was more a staging point for raids actually, but still prominent enough to make our history books. If that is where you wish to head, I know of another exiled member, of our clan. He now does freelance work, but I know he runs operations near that area. Want me to see if he can help?"

He spoke of a man named Adeen Kandosii, one who had been exiled for not following an order given to him by one of the clans old war masters. It was an order that would have lead to his death, and that of the unit he was commanding. The last time Kot had heard from him, a few years ago, Adeen was running a small band of pirates. If anything, he should have some knowledge of the state of affairs regarding Wayland.

Re: Keldabe

*Vincent was glad to hear Kot had accepted his offer, clan Kandosii growing with the addition of a new member.* "You do me great honor by accepting ner'vod." *They were now up to three, more then he had even imagined having, at least so soon. So far, he was making significant leeway in to his goal of restoring Clan Kandosii, now knowing they had to work on their honor. Still, chasing it was foolish at this point. Right now they had to focus on finding the ship, as Vincent had promised Jerris he would. And seeing as the Kandosii clan was affiliated with Prudii, perhaps they would meet more members of their clans along the way.

Vincent was not surprised when Feralas asked Kot to take him on as an apprentice and learn to be a master smith. He remembered how the man had been eying his blades, and those on the wall when he entered. The Kandosii clan could use another smith anyway, he knowing men who can work beskar to be very rare. It was not an easy metal to mold, or so he had heard. This also meant Kot would be accompanying them, another new addition he would gladly accept. Besides, having a smith around could be very handy.

As he listened to the two talk, a red indicator began to flash on his HUD, alerting him of an incoming transmission. He opened the channel, hearing Jerris's voice. He told Vincent of having gained yet another clue, a lead that the ship was on Wayland. He had never heard of a Kandosii settlement being on the planet, nor even the planet. Still, Kot may know, having hinted that he had a knowledge of past off-world Kandosii settlements.*
"Sorry to interrupt, but do you happen to know if Kandosii ever had some kind of settlement on Wayland? One of our companions came across some information hinting that the ship we seek was there." *Even if the man did not hold the information, they would still head for the planet, it being the best lead they had received yet. He was getting a little antsy on Mandalore anyway, feeling he had to watch over his shoulder too often.*

*As he waited for the response, he sent a transmission back to Jerris.* :: Excellent. Now we have a solid lead. Meet me at my current location, Feralas is already here with me, and we have another new addition to the team. Once you get here we can discuss travel arrangements. We should definitely leave soon. ::

*Getting the message from Vincent Jerris immediately started to head towards his location using his HUD to track the man's com signal. It took around 30 minutes to get there since he had been nearly on the other side of Keldabe from him well far enough at least. When he found where Vincent's com signal was coming from he saw that it was inside of a smith's shop. He had no idea what would of brought him all the way over here but he just shrugged as he walked on inside. He found the group of mandos talking about and so he just stood near the door until they were finished though he was sure Vincent knew he was there.*

Re: Keldabe

*Vincent watched, via his HUD, as Jerris came through the entrance, seeming to settle for a corner and just watch. He was glad the man had come so quickly, at least as quick as he could due to his position from them when he started back their way. He was just going over some maps of Wayland, and the route they would take there, that he had pulled up on his screen. There was not much known about the planet besides an old imperial store house in the planet's Mount Tarnis. It made it a perfect world to hide something on.

Having thought about Kot's offer to contact another exiled member of Clan Kandosii he knew, that operated in the Wayland sector, he decided to take him up on it.*
"That would be excellent ner'vod. Now we just have to figure out how we are going to get there." *Vincent had only a bes'uliik, and he knew Jerris's ship was scrap metal. He was sure Feralas had a ship, having stated he had traveled to Mandalore. He had no idea if Kot owned anything space worthy. If he didn't, they would most likely have to pay for transportation, which meant the spending of even more credits.

Deciding to wait and see if anyone had any offers, he remained silent for a few moments, allowing one of the others to chime in.*

Re: Keldabe

Kot's attention was caught by the sudden light that began to stream in to the shop, from the newcomer opening the door. The new arrival was in full armor, as was his new leader, it reminding him of the old days. He himself hadn't worn his armor since his exile, it being engraved with the Kandosii crest in his front left breast plate. He could easily change the breast plate, but the fierce loyalty to his clan always stopped him when he tried. Now he would have a reason to wear it again.

"I may have a solution vod. I have a Stathas-class Freighter stored in the bay beside my forge. It may be a little cramped as I converted most of the cargo space in to a portable forge though. Everyone would pretty much be forced to stay in the passenger cabin and bridge. It is a good ship though, even if she is old."

The ship was indeed old, older then he was in fact. He had had it for about ten years, having acquired it as payment for a rather large modification job he had accepted. When he took over ownership, it had been near to a piece of junk, he having repaired it from the landing claws to the interior. He had even had to re-wire the entire bridge and weapons systems, taking the time to add a few modifications that came in handy a few times.

"As for Adeen, the man I told you about, I will contact him once we depart. I don't want to take the chance of anyone tracking the signal, just in case he got himself in to even more trouble then usual."

He did not wish for his friend to get caught, nor face his wrath if he was. Adeen was not a man to be messed with, being the leader of a band of pirates, or so he last heard. What had come of the man now he did not know, but he would soon find out.

*Feralas bowed in achknowledgement of Kot accepting him as an apprentice.
As talk of travel to wayland was underway, Feralas' thoughts returned thoughts returned to the broken down hunk of junk he had brought passage to Mandalore on. Thankfully Kot had a ship he could travel in. Although Kot made out his ship was not too great, it would be better then what ever he used to get to Mandalore in*

=Feralas=
Well I have no permanent way of travel, so I shall have to confine myself to the passanger cabin and bridge of your ship master, should you allow me to do so.

*Feralas would be spending plenty of time working under Kot, so he would repay him for the trip one way or another. It would also allow him time to begin discussing his training on the journey to Wayland*

Re: Keldabe

*Vincent exhaled a sigh of relief, glad a solution was found so quickly. He was definitely not looking forward to having to purchase a flight for them all, one which he knew would be very expensive.* "That is perfect vod, we should leave as soon as possible." *Kot also offered to contact Adeen as they made their way to Wayland, another excellent idea. As Kot mentioned the man ran some shady operations in that area, taking any chance of possibly getting the man caught would be bad. He knew contact the man would be of great use though, which lead to him approving the idea.*

"I agree, contacting him once we are in hyperspace would be the best course of action. I wouldn't want to start off on the wrong boot." *He knew the man could be a valuable asset to them, and since he was apparently another Kandosii, perhaps he would want to throw his lot back in with the clan.* "So, Kot, when can the ship be ready?" *He wanted to begin the long trek to Wayland as soon as possible. The quicker they arrived, the quicker they could find the ship and begin truly working to rebuild the Kandosii Clan.*

Re: Keldabe

Kot grinned at that word, "master". It brought back memories of when he was an apprentice to his father. He had never taken on an apprentice before, so he hoped he would teach Feralas well. He knew he would rely heavily on how his father had taught him, although probably needing to make a few adjustments as Feralas wasn't a boy like he was. Still, he had no doubts that the boy would learn quickly and be as dedicated as he himself had been.

"I am sure Vincent here can pilot the ship just fine. Once we are in hyperspace we will begin with your first lesson. It is a long trip after all."

He then turned his attention to Vincent, glad to see he wished to heir on the side of caution as well. No one wanted to make a bad impression on Adeen, that was for sure. He was also glad to see Vincent wanted to leave as soon as they could. To his luck, Kot had already been preparing the ship for departure, should the banks come to seize his forge and everything in it. All of his metals and tools were loaded on to it, although he was sad he would have to leave many of his weapons. At least they weren't part of his beskar collection, that already loaded on the ship.

"We can leave immediately actually. I have been preparing the ship all week due to some financial circumstances. It is fully stocked too, so whenever you are ready its just through my forge there, can't miss it."

Re: Keldabe

*Vincent nodded, indicating he understood. He was glad to have been so lucky, thus far, they not having to wait on the ship to be prepared. He only hoped their luck would not run out, especially since they were heading to a planet they knew nothing about. Still, he had faith that if anything did go wrong, they would be more then able to handle it.* "Very well, we should get moving now. No point wasting any time." *None of them had anything they needed to do, all carrying everything they owned. All he would have to do is send a command to his ship and have it meet them at Wayland, something he could do from his HUD, and would once they were airborne.

turning to his left, he made his way through the heavy curtain, which lead to the forge. It was nearly empty, save for a rather large furnace built in to a wall, and a large anvil that looked too heavy for even five men to carry. It was just another quick left to the hangar, his eyes falling upon the lowered loading ramp of the freighter. It almost looked like a YT-1300, a Corellian freighter made popular in the smuggling community. He was sure there were even some smuggling chambers aboard the ship, something which might come in handy.

He made his way up the ramp, his beskar boots lightly 'clanking' against the durasteel ramp. He quickly made his way toward the bridge, noticing that the halls were smaller then any freighter he had ever been on. If it was due to the ships design, or Kot's modifications, he didn't know. Still he managed to make it to the bridge, instinctively taking the pilots chair. He remembered Kot telling Feralas he was going to start teaching the boy, indicating Vincent would likely be flying the ship, which he was.

Once he saw everyone on board, he closed the ramp with a push of a button. He then began to power up the engines and repulsors, running a quick systems check as they readied. Once the check was clear, and the repulsors at full charge, he engaged them. He felt the ship begin to rise, the intense torrents of downward air pushing the ship even higher as he increased their power output.

Once they were clear of any ground debris, he eased the ship forward, dialing the engine power up to 20%. The ship slowly began to move forward and out the now open hangar doors. As they cleared the doors, he began to angle the ship upward, allowing the repulsors and engines to begin propelling the ship even higher, adding more power to the engines as he progressed. He watched as the clouds grew even closer, eventually they slicing right through them as the skies began to grow darker, slowly transitioning in to space.

When he was finally clear of the atmosphere, he sent a command to his bes'uliik, knowing it would meet them at Wayland. With that thought at ease in his mind, he dialed even more power in to the engines, now at 80% as they streaked away from Mandalore's orbit, where they would then lurch forward in to hyperspace, on their way to Wayland...*

*Deep within the ship that belonged to Jerris Prudii was a strange creature, mechanical in nature. It's photoreceptors flash on revealing that it had come alive. Flicking it's wings briefly, shaking the dust from them, it's wings metal parts shift. Clamps release and miniature tractor beams shift the metal pieces. Slowly the pieces realign to form what looks vaguely humanoid.*

*A strange tail though exit's the being's body, with a quick movement it folds up and rests almost like the spine of the thing. Obviously this was some very expensive prototype droid, the holographic displays activate and suddenly the figure displays an attractive late teen, early twenties girl. Blue eyes and blonde hair, along with a smile that would warm any guys heart. Perhaps the figure would resemble a Hapan, known for their beauty across the galaxy. Even so the being walks toward the cockpit in search of its, or her as we must call it at the moment, master.*

Re: Keldabe

*Currently inside of Jerris's ship it was a mess with plates having been removed to show the wiring inside and tools all over the place. This was the result of Jerris's three droids trying to make the necessary repairs to the ship. It had at first taken them hours to finish all the scans of the ship to find just how bad the damage is. Once they had that figured out they had begun taking apart the inside of the to get to the damaged parts. Now all three droids were all over the ship trying to make repairs to it so they could go meet Jerris on Wayland.

When Ravager came out of the cargo hold Zack was standing on a tool box to look at a console. When he heard sounds coming his way he quickly looked in that direction. The poor droid had thought there was no one in the cargo hold so to see some female looking person come walking out gave the droid a good scare. He suddenly jumped with both arms flailing in the air and trying to balance on one foot. Sadly he lost his balance and landed flat on his back. After a minute the droid jumped to his feet and started to run in circles until it ran into a wall and fell over again. This time he only sat up rubbing his head as if it had hurt but looked but at the female still wondering who it is.*

Re: Keldabe

Deep within the city, the Ordo Aliit'alor set down his Firespray-31 into a vacated landing pad where he then stepped out. Again, the last time he'd been to this place it had been on far different terms. Terms that had bid his leave in a rage and begun his disgust with what at the time had been the Aliit'alor of Australis and former Mand'alor unto the Mandalorian peoples. He hadn't heard much of what became of Kaine since he departed, recessing from the assembly of the clan chieftains upon the Mand'alor by the name of Malicehaving taken the helm. No. He hadn't heard much at all concerning the politics since that time. Probably an unwise move, but at the time he was young, too young to have asserted himself as the head of his clan. But . . . but now he had mature. He'd aged and gained his experience.
