Re: Lake Country

"Oi what the hell?!" Jiggy sped past, flying over the lake at breakneck speeds. He turned himself upwards and reducing his thrust to float a few hundred yards away from the two force users. Well that was just some kind of osik, someone is clearly trying steal The Jig's bounty. He looked around for the offender's ship, but found no trace of the one he'd heard land not too long ago.

He activated the comm link to the receiver on Dog's neck. "Dog, look for the ship that isn't ours. Tell me when you've found it." There was a meow in return, and Dog was off like a bloodhound, following the scent of exhaust that had since had the time to dissipate around the landscape. And to Dog's powerful nose, it wouldn't take long for him to find it.

In the mean time, Jiggy landed on the cliff where he'd taken off, walking towards his bounty-hunting cat to help search for this man's ship. The Forcies can duke it out for awhile, wear each other down. He didn't care, really.

Angel wrote:*Just as Ang'el had jumped up onto the cliff's edge, seconds after she sensed it. Her senses kicking in like instincts though not have been used for so many years but still there always with her. She had just unclipped and ignited one of her two lightsabers she was mastered in with Jar'Kai to engage the oncoming man and it would have sliced him in half, literally. But then she felt a tug and with out much warning or reaction time she was pulled sideways milliseconds before the rocket man would have hit her. Ang'el looks and watches as if in slow motion the man pass right by her seeing in detail his appearance and the flames emitting from his rocket jets.*

"EEk!"

*As that happened and the man passed her everything seemed to flow together and real time came back to her as she was being pulled towards some high grass at first then as she came through the grass at the speed of the pull which hurt traveling through the grass. Her sights came upon a dark energied fellow and with a effort to break free only feet from the guy she used the force she had gathered between almost being plowed down and now being pulled to release a small force burst which should break the man's hold on her and allow her footing again.*

*Marauder could feel that his grip on the Jedi's back hand be successful and when she was pulled out of the way of the incoming attacker, his right thumb happened to press down upon the activator switch of his lightsaber. The crimson blade shot out of the hilt of the saber with a sounding 'hiss snap'; a sound Marauder was all too comfortable with hearing when on missions like these. The Sith's unusual blue eyes happened to catch sight of the Jedi's own eyes and when she noticed him as well, he could feel her own drawn upon the 'Light' side of the Force. The very thought of using the Force to restrict one's own pursuit of power and freedom made Marauder want to spit on the very name of Jedi. He trained for so long and would not limit himself for anyone's behalf, not even this young woman.*

*When the Jedi gathered the energy to herself and omitted a small Force Burst from her body, Marauder released his grip on her and felt his body being pushed back by the energy of the Burst itself. It felt as if he just ran half speed into a wall, but Marauder was experienced with pain and learned to block the majority of it out. But what's the hunt if there isn't any challenge to it. For the first time since he started this mission, the Sith could feel a menacing smirk tugging tightly at the left corner of his lips. From the burst itself, Marauder was able to keep his footing but felt himself skid back just a few feet within the dirt underneath his feet. The crimson saber hummed quietly as moved while the Jedi began to regain her footing. Using the bushes and trees for cover, the Sith moved in a half circle (his right, her left) around the woman and could be at a distance of 7-10 meters. His bluish eyes never left the same color that reflected from her alien skin as he watched her from the darkness. He knew facing off with her out in the open would be illogical, but breaking her down from the shadows? Marauder could do just that. While he moved, the Dark Side of the Force was pulling into the center of the Shapeshifter's body. He could feel that familiar buzz he got when he called upon that Dark Energy as it flowed around the surface of his skin.*

*To begin the process of breaking the Jedi down so he would be able to capture her, Marauder channeled some of his energy into the palm of his left hand, more importantly, his thumb and middle finger. After focusing his energy, the Sith placed his thumb on the back of his middle finger's nail and began to pull hard on that said finger. When he released it, he flicked the air and aimed to project that flick, which would hurt like hell if connected, toward her windpipe, on the left side of her neck.*

*The Jedi felt the excruciating grip through the force hit the left side of her neck, as it did she let out a grunt leaning her head slightly in the direction of the grip trying to push through it. The expression on her face showed the pain, as she regained her footing she pushed up and through the pain standing looking into the shadows as the trees around her seemed to spin as you peered from above and down upon her. She spoke in native tongue of the Twi'lek but it would sound like basic through the force.*

<< What cause do you have to disturb and attack me? What do they call you, darkness? >>

*She said as she pulled out her secondary lightsaber making sure both were ignited now as she stood ready and dealing with the pain being compressed upon her neck. Being a healer and having advanced knowledge of healing and pain reduction she was able to initiate what she needed to dull the pain being placed upon her from the shadows.*

Re: Lake Country

After a bit of searching on Dog's part, Jiggy was eventually able to locate the ship of the bounty-jacker. And by locate, he really just slammed his face off of the cloaked metal. Fun times all around! After a bit of feeling around and looking for corners not to slam his face into, he found the little slot where the landing gears extended from. Or whatever kind of hole it was.

The Jig planted his little present right inside, making sure it was receiving a strong signal. Everything was green, so it was time to scoot on out. No one jacks Jiggy's bounty and gets away with it. Starting up his jetpack again, Jiggy took to the skies to survey the fight below. He could only see his bounty, currently, but setting his visor to infrared showed him that the attacker was hiding in the bushes. Sir Jigs-Alot figured it would be best to let them duke it out a little more before intruding.

*Marauder's icy blue eyes continued to track the female Twi'lek as the Dark Side swarmed to his left hand. He noticed the expression of pain upon her face from the impact of his flick via Projective Fighting and felt a slight smug smirk pulling at the left corner of his lips. This Jedi, this female Jedi, was going to be an interesting catch for Lord Exitius and this Sith would be rewarded for his efforts. There was a feint breeze in the air and the Sith's red hair flowed softly while his eyes remained frozen on his prize.*

*When he felt the Jedi's voice enter the base of his mind, rage erupted within Marauder. The idea of having a Lightsider's voice inside of his own mind started a blood rage like none other. His teeth gritted and grinded upon each other and with the Force gathering into the center of his left hand, he acted once more. Using the shadows as cover, Marauder focused the Force around the Jedi's left knee and gripped his left hand tightly. With TK, he was aiming to crush her knee and rendered her motionless right before he would knock her out and capture her.*

Jiggy's eyebrow twitched as he heard the number, refusing to interrupt until he was certain the transmission had ended. Part of him wanted to jump for joy, but the other part remembered what happened the last time he did that in mid-air.

:: Copy that.. Send the list. I'll reply with a secure location for the drop. Send a single man with the money on a card, at the time and date listed in my reply. ::

Jiggy grew rather serious for seemingly the first time in his life. This was a lot of money. He wasn't dealing with a small-time gangs looking to eliminate some competition, or some vengeful, cuckolded husband. This was a dangerous game. Anyone who can throw a billion credits around for some murders is fully capable of killing the murderer and taking his money back. No reward without a little risk, but such is the life of the galaxy's vermin.

The big decision, really, was whether or not to still try and take the Twilek in. Might as well get some finances going and fuel bought.

*Carh'la cringes as her knee is now having pressure put on it and when she went to drop to her knee, she followed through with both her sabers and lodged them into the ground. Doing so created a shock wave that would knock anyone not within the circle off their feet, in the air and back 5 feet.*

*She would not go down easily, the pain flowed through her body like the rythmic pulse of the heartbeat. She tried her best to control what she could while at the same time keeping a steady vision on the task at hand which was surviving.*

Re: Lake Country

*This was completely unexpected, but still wasn't much of a surprise to Marauder. When the female Jedi dropped to the ground and ripped her sabers into the earth, he felt the sudden release of Force energy but did nothing to brace himself. He refused to place himself on guard for someone as weak minded as a Jedi. When the Telekinetic wave of energy reached him, Marauder felt as if had just been struck by a fully grown man running at a full sprint. The impact knocked him off his feet and pushed him into the air, but Marauder was not simple mercenary. Using the skills he had honed after years of training, the Sith was able to use the momentum to perform somewhat of a back-flip and touched down on his feet. When he touched down on the ground, he landed to where his left foot was firmly planted on the ground and his knee at a 45 degree angle while his right land was out and to his right to steady his balance.*

*For a moment, the Sith stared down at the ground and pondered on the true power of the Jedi he was facing. Maybe she had some hidden talents that his Lord would find useful if she was converted to the Dark Side of the Force. With that thought hanging on the edges of his mind, this fight just became that more important. The Dark Energy surrounding Marauder's body seemed to simply ignite and erupt suddenly as he dashed from his current position and used Force Sense to make a 'bee line' directly toward the downed Jedi.*

*Marauder's red leather trench whipped violently in the wind behind him as he moved at nearly 'blurring' speed toward his target. With his crimson blade humming in his ear, Marauder prepared to make a strike against the Jedi, but when he was within just a few meters, he changed tactics and used the energy he gathered within his body. Pushing his left hand out toward her instead of slashing her with his blade, Marauder released a powerful TK wall of energy that was aimed to slam into her body and lift her off the ground. Moving quickly and using the momentum he had while sprint, Marauder made an attempt to grab unto her body and slam her violently into the ground with the Force.*

*With the attack, the Jedi was getting weary and with the extent of her injuries building one after the next of being inflicted by this sith, it was only a matter of time and until then she was going to push herself past her limits. After her attack she lost sight of the sith and before she knew it the sith appeared right in front of her and with him a massive surge of TK energy. He had directed it at her in the form of a wall and when it hit her, it threw her 38 feet into the air and causing her to do multiple uncontrolled over-ended flips before she was slammed into the ground and separating her from her lightsabers. She lay there for a while barely moving, muscles twitching and blood now visible from the corner of her mouth and bruising along her body. She lay there injured but not completely beaten yet.*

Re: Lake Country

*The Darkness Marauder had summoned to his body was now nearly spent after he performed a rather extreme display of his Force Power. His still dark blue eyes were constantly keeping watch on the broke Jedi before him as he deactivated his blade and reattached it back to his belt. In the darkness of the forest, Marauder approached her carefully and slowly at that. She could still manage to put up a fight after being slammed to the ground in such a violent manner. Even though Marauder was unharmed, his breathing was quickened from such a powerful use of the Force. When he was close enough to the Jedi's body, he noticed the blood dripping from the corners of her mouth and stood over her with his right hand extended toward toward her body. If she tried anything, he would use the remaining energy, which wasn't too much after what he just pulled, to render her useless until she found the correct medical treatment.*

Re: Lake Country

*The twi'lek looked at the Sith, the image of her contorted and disconfigured. The image now looking like two people, the damage to the generator as too substantial and it had begun to fail. Not before long after as the person lay there on the ground did the generator completely fail and go offline did the image of a Zeltron appear. Her blue hair, long in length, her pinkish red skin, the cuts, obviously apparent at this point. her lightsabers as well within hands reach but her condition was preventing much of a struggle at the moment.*

"You'd only be doing me a favor and surely who ever has hired you neither wants me dead..*coughs out a bit of blood from her mouth as it runs down the side* so empty threats will get you nonetheless paid and only hunted down like me..."

*She said as she looked over and up to him as much as possible as she was laying on her stomach her head tilted to one side and viewing the sith.*

Re: Lake Country

*Marauder prepared himself for the twi'lek's counterattack but that didn't seem to be the case here. Her body seemed to be distorted; as if her image was being projected somehow. In just seconds, Marauder was now standing before a new woman, one who received the damage of the Sith's attacks, but whose physical appearance was drastically different. For a moment, the Sith assumed this woman was a shapeshifter, but she didn't fit the physical description of a Shi'ido. Her long blue hair and the shade of pinkish red skin...she clearly fit perfectly in the category of the near-human species, the Zeltron. Marauder had studied upon this race while he trained on Korriban, but this would have to be the first time he actually came in contact with a member of that race.*

*With his arm still extended downward at her, he brought himself closer to her to study her in greater detail. The blood dripping from her mouth indicated that he had caused some internal damage and that she would need medical attention as soon as possible. The wounds covering her body seemed to be less severe than her internal wounds, but she would still need some sort of medical aid before being brought to his master, Lord Exitius. He wanted the woman alive and well, not broken and near the point of death. His left hand reached downward toward his belt and gripped tightly around the hilt of his lightsaber. Once he pulled it from its clip, he pressed his thumb down on the activator switch and unleashed the humming crimson blade.*

-Marauder-
"Ah...so true. So you're a Zeltron....fascinating. This might be an added bonus to my contract. Your race is so....exquisite. Get up...if you can. I have no intention on carrying a Jedi today."

"I'd think a Sith couldn't carry the brunt side of a brick, let alone me, I prefer to walk anyway."

Re: Lake Country

*The Sith watched with his hand still extended out in the Zeltron's direction as she slowly stuggled to get to her feet. At any time, Marauder could have finished her off and left this planet behind. He was tempted to, in fact. He wanted to slowly kill this Jedi and have a sense of pride that yet another 'Light Sider' had been sent to the Great Beyond, but alas, he was under direct orders to bring her in alive. The real question was this: What did Lord Exitius want to do with a weakened Jedi such as this woman?*

*Did he intend on breaking her and turning her against her own Order or did he have a personal matter to settle? Whatever it was, Marauder was happy to please his Lord in bringing her in to him. The humming crimson blade sent tempting thoughts into the Sith's mind as the Jedi barely stood and began to walk. He could see himself rushing toward her and ending it all quickly by removing her head from the rest of her body. He could taste the bloodlust on his lips. But knowing that something like that would be counterproductive, he remained silent and just followed her, as if he was guiding her back to his cloaked fighter.*

-Marauder-
"Ack...I don't want your blood all over my new fighter. I'm calling for a shuttle pick up. Once aboard the ship, we'll get you some treatment...not that you deserve it. Damn Jedi....We'll see how strong your will is. Keep walking."

*She turned her head around and spit blood at the Sith, didn't matter where it landed on him, though she preferably wanted the face, but anywhere to piss him off would work. She laughed, how she loved to hear a Sith whine. She continued to walk until the shuttle showed up to take her to where ever.*

*Marauder pulled out his datapad just after insulting the Jedi and began to send messages to his Star Destroyer waiting within the reaches of dark space. With just a single encrypted message sent out thru the com-channels, his Pellaeon Star Destroyer would exit from the reaches of dark space and drop in orbit around the planet of Naboo. Until then, he would have to babysit a Jedi he didn't really care for. Speaking of the Jedi, when Marauder looked back up to see exactly why she was being so quiet, he was welcomed with her turning around to face him and trying to insult him by spitting upon him. The foul spit from her mouth did not laid on his, but he skidded against his red leather jack down near his legs.*

*The cold blue eyes of the Sith stared down at the impact site then slowly looked up at the foolish Jedi who would dare insult him in such a way. With a quick jab throughout the air, Marauder sent a projective punch sent thru the Force and directed it to impact directly at the back of her head when she turned around and began to walk away. If she was going to be turned to the Dark Side of the Force by Lord Exitius, then her pain and and angish would start here on Naboo.*

*There was a certain satisfaction Marauder got from driving his telekietic fist into the back of the Zeltron's head. He could feel a rush of pride filling him but he also had to withhold from sending yet another strike to the back of the woman's head. If he did, he risked severe brain damage or worse, death. He was tempted to finish the woman off and leave her in a puddle of her own blood, but would all that be worth losing the favor of his Lord and being chased down across the universe for it? No. He would not see her dead on Naboo. Torture? Now that would be interesting to watch, but he would have to get her off the planet first.*

*When her body went limp and dropped to the ground, the Sith figured the blow to the back of her head and done the job and rendered her unconscious for a while. This would be a plus on Marauder's part, for he did not have to listen to her complain and gripe about being taken hostage. The Sith was breathing slightly more heavily than he usually would and he knew right away that it was from his overuse of the Dark Side. For the time being, he would have to cut back on using the Force until he's nature power was restored.*

*Now that he could think in slience, because the smart-choobies comments coming from the Zeltron was really getting on his nerves, he could sit back and be one with his thoughts. What would he do once this woman was handed over to his lord, Darth Exitius? The Sith Lord didn't really have any outstanding missions for Marauder so would it be wise to head off in his own direction? He could actually pick up some merc work in the inner core and make a name for himself as an assassin.*

*Even though he was deep in thought about what he would do after taking this woman to his Lord, Marauder looked up at the sound of thrusters and saw a shuttle decloaking and landing nearby. The Sith stared down at the woman and shook his head. He meant what he said when he spoke about not wanting to carry a Jedi. He was not going to do it and had no desire to even touch the pink woman. Standing there with his arms folded across his chest and with his red leather jacket blowing in the wind, Marauder simply watched as a few armed men disembarked from the shuttle and approched his location with weapons slightly drawn.*

*There were no words exchanged between the men and Marauder. All he did was nod his head in the direction of the sleeping Zeltron and they went to work. Acting quickly before anyone arrived to see what was going on, the men lifted her up carefully and slowly walked with her to the waiting shuttle. The Sith walked a few meters behind them with his lightsaber drawn and with his icy blue eyes watching their surroundings. For some unknown reason, he always thought there was someone else out here...watching the two of them fight. Once reaching the suttle, the Sith waited for the woman to be safely boarded until he turned off his crimson blade and boarded himself. The shuttle then re-cloaked and shot off into the sky.*
