*Savage disembarked the speeder as it pulled to a stop near the entrance of Residential Tower 082. He strode through the entrance towards the lifts. Upon entering the lift, it shot skywards, coming to a halt at the second highest level. The doors parted and Savage strode down the corridor, cloak billowing out behind him. He reached the door for his apartment and paused, finally letting the intoxicating presence of his lover overwhelm his senses. Despite being a Sith Lord, this was the one thing that he would truly give it all up for. His lover and his unborn child. Nothing else really mattered to him anymore. Anything else that had ever meant anything to him was dead and gone. Destroyed by his father. Consumed by the tyrannical Empire that now ruled over the planet. Savage slid his hand over the pad near the door, prompting the door to open. He walked through the threshold, lowering his hood as the door slid shut behind him.*
*Savage lowered his hood and smiled as Larissa entered from the adjacent bedroom. He reached down and undid the clasp that held his cloak on, shrugging it off his shoulders and hanging it near the door. Larissa made two steps towards him while he also made a single, larger step towards her. He then wrapped his arms around her. She in turn embraced his open arms and rested her head against his chest. Savage rested his chin lightly on her head, simply breathing in the sweet, faintly floral scent of her hair.*
*As they stood there, embraced in each others arms and senses, to Savage, everything seemed to melt away. His father, the resentment he held for him, the pain of betraying his former family...everything. Things seemed, if only for a brief few moments, to have a normalcy to them. Like he was living a normal apple pie life, not having to manage a vast fleet, nor command a spanning army. He basked in the normal feeling this embrace with his love was giving him...because in the back of his mind, he knew that when they broke apart, everything would come flooding back. Even his deep-seated rage and anger seemed to slip away, and for a brief second he was completely at peace, free from the demonic clutches of the Dark Side, free from the anger and hatred that had plagued and blackened his tormented soul for so long....*
*And then she pulled away from him, even though he was willing her not to move. He had been free. Everything came flooding back. Hitting him with such a magnitude that it was almost suffocating. He willed himself to regain control of his emotions and get a grip on his reality. Once he was back at the reigns, he smiled at Larissa once more, extending his senses outwards, toward the presence of their unborn child. He radiated soothing, calming thoughts towards the presence. Larissa simply smiled back at him and leaned up, placing her soft, tender lips on his. He allowed his hands to slide down to her waist. He gripped her firmly and pulled her in closer, kissing her with a little more passion. She played into it for a brief moment, then pulled away with a sly smile creeping onto her face. He knew what it meant, but that would come at a later time. Right now, he needed to simply be with her and formulate a plan on getting Larissa off planet before his father found out that she was carrying his grandson. Larissa left the room, heading into the kitchen. Savage followed and seated himself at the table while Larissa went about preparing a meal. He watched her move about the kitchen, not taking his eyes off her. It was one of the few things left in the Universe that brought him a small measure of peace, simply watching her go about a seemingly normal task that a normal couple would go through. He continued to watch her and let his mind wander off, away from Rhommamool and everything that had happened over the past few months.*
