Most don't have the level that the Rangers seem to. SWAT teams do. Rangers are like SWAT but mostly solo. I used to be an MP in the Marines. I would know.

And a quick note about the Ysalamiri you're using. Their bubbles are usually around ten meters in diameter, which would encompass the entire upper half of your ship, so any use of force on your part (or anyone's part within that half of the ship, such as force launching yourself away from it and flying back inside of it (you would have lost your force abilities about fifteen feet away from the ysalamir and gone back into freefall for the remaining distance), is not feasible.
Now I'm not going to get pushy about it or anything, this is just a reminder for next time. It helps to be consistent in your writing.

Just to let Anna know, I don't know why but for some reason this computer that I've borrowed to get around my laptop being out for service isn't letting me reply in the "Above the Planet" thread. I'm going to keep trying, but I'm honestly not sure why it is doing this. In summary, my apologies for the existing delay already, and I'll get a post up as soon as I can.
Obviously, if anyone has any tips or ideas as to how to fix this please let me know. Thanks everyone.

What thread should I use for my approach to the palace? And would it be possible to have the entire rescue take place in one thread? Jumping all over throughout the threads is a bit tedious when we're only going to be making one or two posts in most of them.

Agreed. For this event, I advocate that we restrict all collaborative action within and around the palace to the Dark Diamond Palace thread, except for that which takes place in the Golden Room due to its being a focal point.
