*Sixteen capable droids trundled into the hallway, already aware of the soldiers at the end. Without much forethought, Aidan decapitated one with a .50 mm round from his favorite rifle. As it fell to the ground, one of the servobots began screwing the head back on while the rest of the droids charged forward, guns firing and flamethrowers ablaze. Aidan could barely see past them anymore before they were upon them, slowly knocked down as they advanced. But more came to replace the fallen sooner than not.*
:: Kessler, are you out there?! ::
:: Aidan- *static* -hurry up and- *static* -fourth floor. Repeat, I'm up on the - *static*. ::
*Aidan nodded happily. At least he was alive.*
:: Henry, you know what to do. ::
:: I still say you're nuts. ::
:: What're you two yapping about? ::
*Tavor fired a rocket down the hall, which collided with a droid directly. The explosion put a hole in the wall of the station, and Aidan saw as the droids clung onto pieces of damaged metal while their gravity repulsors kicked in. The red commando handed a tether to his brother and dove headlong into the void of space, where, a few meters out, he was yanked back toward the station. As he retreated from the void, his gravboots stuck to the outer hull, and he began running straight up the station. It wasn't long before he reached the fourth floor (they had started on second.) Finding a suitable point of entry, Aidan took his metal-cutter and carved a sizable hole for him to enter.
Inside was much quieter. This level of the station had power, and once the system realized there'd been a hull breach, it began folding over the emergency paneling to close it off. Aidan took his metal-cutter and formed another hole, this once below him. He dropped to the third floor and repeated the process, this time not falling down. The two large, circular chunks of metal fell onto two droids just before they reached his brothers' position.*
:: Aidan, that was amazing. ::
:: But never do it again. ::
*Lowering a tether, Aidan assisted Tavor, then Soren, then Marv, then Mikal up to the third floor. Then he grappled back up to the fourth, where he once again pulled Marv up, leaving his squad to assist the other four still down there; still fighting.*
:: I hope this job is worth the money you're gonna get, :: *Aidan said smugly to Marv.*
*Six droids showed up at the end of the fourth floor level. They locked targets and began firing.*
:: Kriffing-... :: *Aidan dove behind a door panel.* :: Marv, I need a second. Could you help me with these? :: *Rapidly he began loading his short-distance rifle.*
