The ship hits Space, and Ashrah punches in a few coordinates. His boredom had reached epic proportions, so he decided to go to Mandalore and try to become a Mando.

Re: Open Orbit

*The Golden Fox drops out of orbit near a planet that scanned as having little space traffic as of late. The Guardian needed a new home planet and this planet seemed like a suitable starting point. He cloaked his ship as soon as he dropped out of hyperspace and began to scan the planet for defenses and if he needed to worry about a fight here.*

Re: Open Orbit

*His scans were coming up negative again and again. If there were ships or emplacements planetside, they were shutdown and would be of no concern to him or his plans. The Guardian began to scan the main base that was located down on the planet.*

Re: Open Orbit

*After determining minimal defenses at the bases and that this planet would be easy to take, the Guardian began to make plans for the invasion and determine just how many units he would need to conquer and maintain control of Hok.*

Re: Open Orbit

*Captain Sen Kerrin was no fool. If the planet really were under quarantine, he would already know about it. For one thing, Hok was in constant communication with the central government of the GCCS at Corellia, and even if this apparent quarantine were a recent developement, the Gran themselves would have contacted the Captain immediately upon their arrival. Why would an unidentified ship be given that information?*

=Sen Kerrin=
*Turns to his Operations ensign.*"ID that ship and try to get a fix on their position."

*The ensign went to work on his console. Meanwhile the Captain turned to his fleet logistics officer.*

=Sen Kerrin=
"Dispatch Squall Squadron. They're to scan and hold up the ship - they do not have permission to fire unless fired upon."

=Ops Ensign=
"Sir, I have a fix on their position.

=Sen Kerrin=
"Good. Let Squall know."

*As Squall Squadron were informed of their orders and dispatched, the Captain went back to the comlink and hailed the unidentified ship once more.*
:: Quarantine huh? That's okay, we weren't planning to land. But it begs the question, why would you lie? The Gran have not advised the GCCS Central Government, nor us of this fact. Please identify yourselves and state your reason for being here. Be advised I am authorised to use lethal force if a threat to this world is perceived to be a reality. Please respond. ::

*12 StealthX fighters shot off in the direction of the comm signal to scan and analyse.*

--------------

*Squall leader banked hard to port. StealthXs were virtually undetectable. There was certainly no way standard scans could pick up their positions, and with no weapons lock possible, they were relatively safe. There was always the danger of line-of-sight firing, but it took a great deal of skill and a lot of luck to successfully take a potshot at a StealthX and hit it. Their mottled black paint job made them almost invisible to the naked eye in space.*

=Squall Leader=
:: Gladius this is squall leader. We have a light Corellian Freighter - seems quite heavily armed. Transponder names it as the "Golden Fox" although it could be a fake sir. ::

=Gladius' Comm Officer=
:: Received Squall Leader. Remain in the locality, but do not, i repeat, do not engage. We are awaiting a response. ::

Re: Open Orbit

*Space above Hok's dark-side, far from any other activity, a single Nova Courier, painted in matte black and dark blue, flashed out of Hyperspace and into orbit of Hok.*

A dark, dead rock.

Some would say, like my heart.

*With a grin from beneath his T-visored helmet, the pilot sent the courier on a slow, lazy, descent, adjusting the shields to create a little friction on the way in to disguise his ship as a passing meteor.

He adjusted the angle, and then set the course, before settling back to enjoy the ride.*

*A single LSR LightStealth-18 Reconnaissance Ship bearing the call sign of Swifthawk-6 exited hyperspace and began to scan the system systematically while the pilot made sure to remain under the radar of any scans that would detect his ship.*

*A TIE Predator Lurched out from Hyperspace, the pilot inside searching the panels and switchboards for a problem* "What now..." *After flicking back and forth across the panels he found it.* "Total Hyperdrive failure? You have got to be kidding me..." *He looked over more panels and noticed he had come out of Hyperspace close to Hok, last he remembered they were a friendly planet so he made his Decent towards the surface. The information popping up on his screen told him where to go.* "Looks like the Crystal Base is where I'll be dropping in for repairs."

*Sinistra's 3-Z freighter drops from hyperspace, hanging in the blackness of space for a moment while she scans the planet surface where the depot was. She detects a ship at the coordinates. Excellent, the intelligence was right on regarding the arrival of the missiles. Now she just had to get them.

Pushing the yoke forward, she sends the freighter down into the atmosphere.*

He knew Wanderer was here. If he didnt keep tabs on the Mando for long, he would disappear, and Kaine would have his choobies. That wasnt going to happen. Not while Ash still was able to take a breath. He aimed his Bessie planet side and homed in on the other Mandos transponder.
