*The engineers and technicians sent to the Lao-Mon Shipyards complete their diagnostics and assessments of the facilities. Chief Engineer Ganger contacts Greta Von Heinler, the current administrator for I-Corp in the system. The transmission takes place an hour after the assessment is final. Heinler is contacted by the chief engineer, :: Goodmorning Administrator Heinler, my teams have concluded our analysis of the current status of the orbiting shipyards. They are not nearly as impressive like the ones back home, as they are too small to produce anything larger than starfighters and moderate sized freighters. ::. Heinler listened intently in her makeshift office on the surface, she was surrounded by staff members all of which oversaw other departments, :: Chief Granger, in your expert opinion, could the shipyard be expanded, so that larger vessels could be manufactured and in greater numbers? ::. The chief replied nearly immediately as the man was well prepared, :: Honestly, we have a lot of room to grow, how big are you looking to go and how soon? ::. Heinler snapped her fingers four times for a staff member to give her the corporate goals for the next couple of quarters. A nervous young man soon procured the data pad with the data she wanted. :: I'm looking over the figures now and it is clear the home office wants Lao-Mon to be able to begin producing Viscount size starships in a year. It is also clear that three deadnoughts should be able to be built at once. That does not include the many starfighters they wish to be able to produce here. I am seeing a trend here, it would seem I-Corp is to focus on offworld production facilities for the time being. ::. The Chief laughed slightly, but soon responded, :: That is a very heavy work load the home office is setting. I can definately do it, but I'll need at least half a million worker droids working around the clock, not to mention nearly all the stored building materials being stored on Malachor V. More importantly, this is going to cut into I-Corp profits. ::. Heinler smiled at the staff members all around her and then spoke up, :: Luckily, fiscal responsibility is not your department, Chief Granger. Send me a complete list of everything you will need to get this project underway. Once I have that I will see what can be done and you will be notified on what supplies you can expect to see comming to your department. Thank you for assessment. ::. The transmission ended immediately and Chief Granger went to work on creating the list.*
