Re: Open Orbit

*In the Clan command centre in the heart of Hyllyard City, the Colonels overseeing the conflict let out a sigh that was half relief, half resignedness. They had expected this sort of thing at the start of the conflict, the NOE were not known for their lack of firepower, nor willingness to use it. Now, this, was something they had at least expected and prepared for. The appearance of this beast was definetely in the script.*

*In orbit, Quinlan was already angling her bow towards the mammoth new arrival, shields were up, and the black wedge, monstrous in itself but dwarved six times over by the gargantuan behemoth of the Eye. Colonel Max Australis's words rang out on the bridge of Quinlan, and in the ear of every bes'uliik pilot. Coded orders were transmitted via hypercomm to fleet assets waiting to jump in, and Max turned to his staff.*

=Colonel Max Australis=
Initiate Operation Gouge.
*As the comm jamming was initiated in a blanket around the world of Myrkr, cutting off all but the Clan's laser-line-of-sight network, the remaining Bes'uliik fighters formed into a loose swarm and, to a man, rocketed towards the NOE's flagship. Their mission was the engines, and each pilot knew his task. Avoid fire, get in range, link missiles and launch. They had almost given up hope of the chance to engage such a target, and being Mandos, they were excited more than they were afraid of death.

The three Mandalorian Defender Guns in Hyllard City unmasked and began targeting the NOE's SSD, even as the city itself was targeted from space. The shield dome shimmered blue above them, protecting the lives of the civilians and the Mando forces ensconced within the compound. The rest were still out in the forests and jungles, mopping up Sith.*

*Three columns of fire came up from Hyllyard to strike the 25km monster, as Quinlan, the Kiffar Star Destroyer, probably built in the same yards as the beast they were engaging, opened fire. Her entire complement of weapons that could be brought to bear was focused on a single spot amidships. Engines firing, the 4km of pulsating, rampaging Star Destroyer powered forward, on a one way trip. Her Captain, Ios Vel, knew his mission, knew of the lives he was spending, but was resolute.*

=Captain Ios Vel, Quinlan CO=
All power to weapons, engines and shields, even the emergency power. Transfer it from everything, including life support. Emergency lights only. Once the shields fail, throw everything into the engines and weapons.

Steady.
*Firing as she came, Quinlan rocketed towards the Devastator SSD. From the bridge, Ios saw the flashes behind the ship, and knew that his allies had arrived. A Keldabe-class, twin to Doomhammer, and two squadrons of TIE Defenders, which engaged the Devastator at once, going for the engines. The Bes'uliik swarm raced away to join them, jinking to avoid any fire that came their way, a cloud of Mando fighters and a single capital ship, still far smaller than the Devastator. Now Clan Australis was at war for true, with an enemy worthy of their full attention.*

Re: Open Orbit

ME/NOE War SL.

*Admiral Alex’zander Keiths watches as the Mk I BISSD turns towards the "Eye", Power spikes are read across the boards, signaling the city was ready for an attack as cannon fire erupted from the surface, Fighters are picked up on inbound attack vectors, Keiths Barks his commands.*

=Admiral Alex’zander Keiths=
Helm!, All Stop!, Launch fighters, Keep us out of range of planetary emplacements, Point us at that Mk I, Continuous Fire of all forward Particle Accelerator Cannons, Engage Sensor Countermeasures, Full spread of all Flechette Torpedo's and Flak Cannons on the inbound fighters, Remove all safety's from missiles and fire on the SSD's bridge when ready, Launch mines for Aft coverage, Defensive guns pick your shots, Boarding parties ready in main hanger, release all Death Cyclops Droids, Charge all X-7's and ready for ship to ship engagement

*As the massive ship hauled to a stop, One of the planetary cannons ordinance impacted on the bow of the of the "Eye", shields held strong and only dropped 10% and was quickly re-gaining shield strength, The Fighter Squadrons of the ship poured out and formed a defensive sphere covering the ship, Now pointed head on with the incoming BISSD the forward 400 Particle Accelerator Cannons erupted and spit death at the enemy in a constant alternating barrage , 350 Dual Kochev Missiles and 200 Duel MIL Missile are fired with the Cannon fire, there course, the bridge. Once enemy fighters are in range, 135 of 250 Flechette Torpedo's and 135 of 250 Flak Cannons would fire alternating shots together and reload with no gaps, making the defensive fire very heavy along with the support of upto 135 more defensive laser cannons, 1/3rd fo the 50 Kamikaze-Class Mines Launchers are busy deploying mines from the Aft section of the ship 40 at a time, repeating 10 times to make 400, leaving a tailing cloud of tiny hard to see mines behind.
Sensor Countermeasures are engaged, most specifiably the Sensor Scrambler which is hiding the fact of 3,000 space capable droids now moving about the SSD outer hull from hatches all over the ship and missile locks will be extremely dangerous for the enemy to get.
In the main hanger bay of the "Eye" boarding crews are getting equipped (38,000 StormTrooper Droids).*

*All Aft weapons began acquiring positive locks on the approaching ship that jumped in behind the NOE Flagship, the mines laid behind will help very much, as the ship closed in on the "Eye", the cloud of 400 20 kiloton mines waited to snag it's dinner, The Aft 400 Particle Accelerator Cannons waited on the mines, targeting the bridge of the ship.*

*All the while the Darklord of War sat silently in his command chair on the bridge, his thoughts are on Sith Battle Coordination, he increases the resolve in his men, boosting there confidence and at the same filling the minds of the enemy in the ship behind them with despair and failure.*

Re: Open Orbit

ME/NOE War SL.

*The battle appeared all but over already. The Devastator was more than capable of mopping up the pitiful remnants of the Australis fleet that came against them. Already, Eltanin's shields were buckling under the massive and unrelenting weight of fire from the gargantuan super star destroyer, even as she came on unyieldingly on her ramming course. All seemed lost, and her attempt seemed doomed, when Colonel Max Australis saw on the main display in the ME command centre in Hyllyard, that the huge vessel had come to a stop.

Allowing the second phase of Operation Gouge to be initiated.*

=Colonel Max Australis=
Initiate phase two.

*As the massive Devastator SSD came to a full stop, the columns of fire from Hyllyard adjusted to bear on the ship's bow. The swarms of Bes'uliik fighters, seeing the massive defensive enfillade fire and fighter support, took a wide arc around the big ship approaching from the stern, to meet up with their TIE allies, staying strangely clear of the big vessel. Comm jamming was dropped for a fraction of a second to facilitate the transmission of the ready signal before the jamming was re-established. Then Phase II took effect, as space all around the huge vessel flashed with the arrival of more ships, the REAL Australis combined fleet.

Shadowblade, the Keldabe-class at the stern went dead slow, as fully twelve flashes all around her designated the arrival of a dozen more Keldabe-class ships. All thirteen now raised shields, targeted their mass driver cannons on the Eye's engines and began firing. The shield-penetrating mass-drivers were, all 39 (3 per Keldabe) targeted on the massive heat emissions from the drives needed to push a ship of that magnitude. The combined turbolasers and ion cannons of the baker's dozen of Keldabes meanwhile flashed out, causing bright-white flashes as they found the mines trailing in the Eye's wake. All thirteen ships made short work of the ersatz minefield, even as their mass drivers belted away at the big ship's engines.

This wasn't all, as, exit vectors provided by the Mando sensor grid orbiting Myrkr allowed the fully seven Bilbringi Interdictor Star Destroyers to emerge at close range surrounding the big 25km monster, like the inward pointing spikes of a seven pointed star, their powerful gravity well projectors and tractor beams powering up to hold the big beast in place. This was made much easier by the fact the NOE had been kind enough to come to a complete stop.

All seven ships began firing, and their shields went up, each ship launching 1000 missiles on each volley. Their plasma cannons and particle accelerator cannons began blasting a withering storm of fire on the big ship, added to Eltanin's constant fire as it bored in to execute its ram. Eltanin's fire began to slacken as its shields took more and more of a pounding, and parts of the ship went dark as power was lost or transferred. The 4km wedge of Eltanin stayed its course even as the fleet appeared and turned the tide of the battle. The element of surprise had been achieved. Parts of the hull were blasted away as shields began to fail, but still her engines pushed her on to her target. It wouldn't be long now.*

*The plan to take down a ship of such size and formidable firepower had been worked on for months by Clan Intelligence. The plan required the big ship to halt at a point in space, long enough for the fleet to emerge around it and trap it in place. Then, by isolating it, and with overwhelming firepower, they would destroy it, before it could escape or be rescued. Kaine himself had been involved in the plan, and he would have felt pride at how his men and women enacted it. Despite the best efforts of the siit aboard the big ship, the morale of the crews was reinvigorated by the arrival of the real fleet, a plan they had not been privy to, thus they didn't know they were getting more help.*

*Kryze heard the broad com message. This was it, they were going down. He knew they were going to be training, but he had no idea of what that entailed. He was nervous, but it was a nervousness that was welcoming, an unknown that was appealing. This was his calling, through all his mixed emotions this felt right. He felt lucky to be accompanied by such a fine example of a female, even though she was rather cold and factual during their encounter so far.

There was something he still couldnt quite put his finger on with Akemi, he seemed dawn to her in some way. He thought maybe it was just that it was the first person he had spent more than 5 minutes talikng to in his life. Is this how friends feel about each other? Then did this mean he had a friend? He hoped the following days would answer his questions.

It certainly seemed she was not intrested in being friends. She was very 'professional'*

*The Queen of Adarlon felt a surge of darkness well up inside the pit of her soul and a familiar, crooked smile dawned her lips as she could feel through the force that her Warlord's evilness was peaking. Although far off from the bridge where Bacca worked, his darkness invisibly, filtered through every nook and cranny of the massive star destroyer, Eye of Pzob, and DLT let it fill her and relished in HIS power. It was dark in her room and she sat quietly for quite some time.*

Re: Open Orbit

ME/NOE War SL.

*The front section shielding takes a beating as the approaching ship continues it's course, Helm control continues to adjust the "Eye" and hold it's head on course with the enemy BISSD, weapons banks still unloading, the forward X-7's are charged and 150 fire a hellstorm of plasma bolts at the crippled enemy ship.
The aft section is under heavy fire from the newly arrived ships, the mine field didn't work out so well, thou there are enough still floating around out there to cause chaos, the main rear drive of the "Eye" is assaulted heavily, the Sepma sub-light drive bangs with boom as the engine quits out, reactor power is diverted to the other 18 Executor class engines and shield strength, which jumps back to full output. Aft weapons unload, 400 Particle Accelerator Cannons and 150 X-7 plasma cannons. Port and Starboard Particle Accelerator Cannons, 1,100 a side, now erupt with the full might of the NOE Flagship, at the surrounding Interdictors, Gravity Well Projectors are targeted. There weapon fire is combated with defensive laser and flak cannons, they manage to get most of the inbound missile attack, but some make it, the shields of the "Eye" are hammered, but thanks to the added boost of power they hold and drop to 70% and start re-gaining again, while under assault from particle accelerator cannons, charging is slow.

"Wardogs" peel off and pursue the enemy fighters, shooting down several missiles that are in bound before leaving, swinging in on the rearward approaching arc of them, they engage with laser and ion cannon fire, not using missiles just yet.*

*Several probes are launched in various directions out of the system.*

*The Warlord of the Eye continued his Sith Battle Coordination, he continues to increases the resolve in his men, boosting there confidence and at the same time filling the minds of the enemy in the system with despair and failure upon visions of death, Bacca feels the surge and the connection of power from his Queen, this boosts the Cycloptic Nightmare's power two fold, he reaches out and taints the system with the darkside, it's cold horrible touch can be felt by all of the enemy.*

*The shields buck and re-gain integrity, Keiths calls out more orders.*
=Admiral Alex'zander Keiths=
I want even spread pattern of missiles and torp's on all bridges of those Interdictors, keep up on firing on Grav Wells. Defensive cannons keep it up, Helm give me 3/4 power and hold till i say, they may have indiction fields up, but we can still maneuver, keep that BISSD in-line with our nose.

*200 Duel MIL Missile Tubes Turrets, 350 Dual Kochev Missiles Pods and 250 Flechette Torpedo Launchers open fire on all Interdictors surrounding the Flagship.

10 Minutes after the probes were fired, more of the Warlords fleet arrives and takes up attacking positions from the rear of the 13 Keldabe-Class Battleships, with battle readiness, Fighters are launched into defensive coverage, And all 3 heavies fire there 8,000mm Mass drivers( Nuclear/DU Yield of 1 Giga-ton) at the closest enemy ship, A ship 2,500m long could probably withstand 4-5 MDC rounds, they fired 4 at one ship smaller than that, the cannons recycle every minute and fire again, they would track the next closest ship and repeat.

The 4 support ships hang and wait at there arrival point with sensor masks engaged.*

Re: Open Orbit

*Were one to stand back and watch from afar the scene taking place within the system, not far from the planet Myrkr, it would have been apparently clear that war had come. You could suggest that the initial strike made by the Sith forces amounted to war, though in truth it was little more than an opening skirmish. Without taking the beach head, conquering the system would not be easy. Ultimately that failing fell on the shoulders of the Sith Lord leading the opening foray, though he chose to conveniently blame the debacle on one of his subordinates. The ground battle was considerably more minuscule when compared to the power being unleashed in orbit. Turbolaser fire capable of reducing the planet to cinders was being traded between capital ships. It was a glorious light show, a feast for the eyes, and terribly awing. For the passengers of the fleeing shuttle, it spelled hope in a time when their hearts were filled with shame.*

*Scraps of metal continued to peel away from the shuttle underside as it exited the planets atmosphere, still reeling from the shock of having a thermal detonator explode beneath its womanly girdle. Speaking of women, it was ever so obvious as to the gender of the shuttles pilot, given the reckless fashion in which it flew. Left and right, up and down, side to side, barrel roll, upside down, over and over again. It was enough to make the Famine Lord's stomach churn while bile rose steadily in his throat. Not that any amount of internal burning by belly acids could cause him further discomfort. He was beyond pain, beyond casual suffering. The best description would be delirious with shock.*

*His thoughts faded in and out as his mind struggled to remain focused. For such a task he chose a particular centerpiece of memory from which to cling. The harem of Ewoks that awaited him back in allied territory was enough to anchor him to reality. Desire felled pain, strengthening his hold on consciousness while causing a stirring in his loins. And oh how they suffered so, he'd be blessed to find out that his boys were even still capable, still able bodied enough to swim down a womanly canal and spread his genetically altered genes for the displeasure of future generations. If not, well, he was a clone. It would not be entirely unsuitable to conceive a prodigy in the same way his own flesh was crafted. A full recreation of the vile spark that spawned his own existence was unlikely, given the dismal failure of his fallen apprentice, Paul Dashrider. Even so, something less than his own perfection could still serve a use.*

*As he mentally debated the future, something vibrant enough to grab his attention broke through his train of thoughts and shattered the little peace of mind he possessed. He sensed power, not grand and awing in the same capacity as the space battle, but near and relevant. Shuddering as the sensation rolled over him, he freed his mind from his conniving thoughts and focused in on the source. Where it led him shocked the Sith Lord down to his very core. Shifting aside, head turning over shoulder, Dragus regarded the closed door of the cockpit. Beyond it, he sensed the only other living being aboard the ship. In the Force.*

*The revelation sank in, followed by brief concern, and finally, fury. The commando was a Force sensitive? No, not possible. He would have sensed it before surely, no being save the Fallanassi was capable of avoiding his means of detection. But there it was, plain as day on the obsidian covered surface of Nkllon. What's more was that he recognized this presence, he had felt it once before. But where? It reminded him of home, but not his own. It reminded him of his crea...Tynna! Of course. Not the old man, not Captain who Dragus despised so for his history with his creator. This was the boy, or rather, the naive man that followed the old coot. What was his name? Bah, he couldn't recall. It didn't matter. The only thing that did was the fact that his inner circle had been infiltrated by a spy. Should he posses the strength right now, Dragus dared to believe he would have enacted the Eye's unmerciful judgment on Captain's prodigy, the one person who the old man might have regarded as something on par as a son. While pleasing to believe, that simply wouldn't do. If Havok's prophecy of the future was to come to light, then there would come a time where Dragus would require the talents of the galaxies most skilled Force Healer. Killing his apostle would hardly gain him Captain's help when the time came for its need.*

*Again the shuttle jerked, causing Dragus to curse the Fallanassi for not spending more time improving her piloting skills. Turning his attention back ahead towards the space battle they were racing towards, he shouted.*

"Damnation Fallanassi! Make us disappear. What use are you if your powers are not to my benefit?"

*The spy would have to wait until they were safely away. Until then he was left to his considerations as to what to do about the Captain's apprentice. Inwardly he grinned. His mind was a dark place, full of depraved delights. He'd think of something.*

*As Sen'tra Squad's personal AIAT/i bursted out of the planet's atmosphere, Drayke jerked on the stick, slamming a severe ammount of pressure upon the throttle. As the ship's large engines flooded with fuel, it accelerated up to 3/4ths speed, quickly leaving the planet behind. Within a matter of minutes, Drayke and Walon had guided the ship out of the planet's natural gravitational pull and plotted the coordinates to their home-base of Dxun. After a few moments wait, they pulled the lever, propelling the ship into hyperspace, leaving Myrkr behind in an illuminating flash of light.*

Re: Open Orbit

ME NOE CLOSED SL

*Sheets of incandescent fire poured in at the massive Super Star Destroyer from a wide range of vectors, lighting up the Myrkr system with artificial green and blue fire, punctuated with crimson and orange explosions, boiling into yellow flame that escaped into the black void. Myrkr's mottled green mushy surface lay far below, the backdrop for the conflagration taking place in orbit.

The Eltanin came on, wreathed in flame, her shields battered away by the NOE's attempts to stop her, but it was plain now with the weight of fire being brought to bear on the massive ship that she'd succeed in her ramming course. The Keldabe Shadowblade was less fortunate, her shields and armour being stripped away by the firepower of the big NOE ship, a high-impact mine finished her off, and she vanished along with her entire crew in a blinding white flash as the mine detonated, taking the ship with it. Her dozen sister ships came on relentlessly however, taking out mines even as they pounded the stalled SSD's engines.

Surrounding the huge ship, like seven tugboats hauling an ancient seagoing aircraft carrier into drydock, the Interdictors with their gravity well projectors and tractor beams held the great leviathan in place, making her easier fodder for the planets guns, which had the furthest to travel to hit, and increasing, theoretically, the damage the Australis fleet would be able to inflict on her while she was held motionless, that was the nature of Kaine's trap.*

*As Shadowblade exploded, there were smaller explosions too as the battle took its toll on the Australis bes'uliik fighters, formidable though they were, and tough, they weren't capable of sustaining capital ship fire, and that was what began to thin their ranks one by one, even as they picked off probes launched from the big ship, no doubt aimed at defeating the jamming net. The pilots spent their lives keeping the probes from escaping, even though that made them vulnerable to the NOE's fighters, the longer they could delay, the greater the chance the operation would succeed. Brave to the end, this was the job of the fighters, and they did not shy away from their duty.

Meanwhile, Eltanin had reached the Super Star Destroyer. She'd lost shields, and her hull was scorched beyond what months in a dock could repair. But she'd never see another spacedock. Her pointed bow already shattered from missile and cannon impact, it hit the SSD amidships, the 4km mass of the Eltanin crashing bow on into the side of the great mammoth star destroyer. As the ship impacted, and the bridge crew were either killed by exploding conduits or consoles, or were thrown to the floor, the final act of her captain sent them all to their deaths. The self destruct activated, and her reactor core went supercritical, quickly overloading and detonating in a phenomenal explosion!!!*

*With the deaths aboard Shadowblade and Eltanin, direct command of the battle transferred to the vessel Doomhammer, which was coming up from orbit, bow first, to join the battle, but was not yet within weapons range of the SSD. Admiral D'Blondell was aboard, and he resumed direct control over the engagement, as he rode his own ship into the storm.* *On the bridge of Doomhammer, he had a first class view as Shadowblade exploded, then the view was eclipsed when Eltanin detonated.*

=Admiral D'Blondell=
May their deaths not be in vain. Full ahead, into the fray!

*Three recon probe droids jump into the sistem. One is places where Bacca had given location to jump in and starts to scann at once for what is around. It is a rather secluded place from the battle, but more scans needs to be administered.

A second Jumps in over the north pole, at the gravity well, and starts to scan for bigger formations in space, to try and find where the battle is. The second does the same at the south pole, the three probes triangulating the scans, making it a bit faster, and streams the information back to home fleet...*

The commando-s at once get compfterble. Meaning, they set up camp all over the ships where they would be able to be in perfect positions if alarm was sounded the same isntant they sleep, piss or eat.

ME/NOE War SL.

*With everything looking as a Loss, Bacca's Sith Battle Coordination was gaining strength, he continued to drink deep from the Darkside of the force envisioning Kaine's forces dying, his force's winning, everything around his ship, the enemy ship baring down on his Starboard side, the seven SSD ringed around his flagship, the approaching ship from orbit, planetary cannon fire inbound, ships to his rear, enemy fighters swarming, his arriving heavies that fired short, his fighters engaging, he watched it all, and he seemed to be watching from above, out of body like, concentrating on his passion for War and Chaos, everything slowed to him as he formulated the plan in his head and predicts it's out come, Victory.
Bacca snaps from his Meditation and Barks his commands.*

IC: *Snarling beastly tones, backed by the darkside.* Target all Interdictors, Fire all Duel MIL Missile Tubes at all enemy Tractor beam emplacements, Re-acquire enemy Gravity Well Projectors and launch All Dual Kochev Missiles, Unload all mines to the rear and set detonation for 90 seconds after, Full bursts from all Particle Cannons, X-7's covering fire supported with All Flechette Torpedoes and Flak Cannons at main bodies of Interdictors, Helm Full Power, engage when the tractors let go, NOW!

*Still pumped from the meditation Bacca's influence has not yet subsided, crews move with maximum efficiency and in seconds the Weapons banks exploded with death and destruction, a hail fire of hell at the enemy Interdictors, All mines were launched at the rear, weapons streak towards there intended targets.

While all this is happening the "Quinlian" is seconds from impacting...*

KA-CRUNCH-KA-BOOM-KER-SMASH!!!!

*The first 7,000 meters are torn off of the "Eye", the nose hurtles towards planetary fire and is smashed to bits after taking several good strikes, raining debris at and on the "Doomhammer", The "Eye" arch's back as the massive explosion rocks the ship, decks are sealed off automatically at all blast door sections, droid pieces of various sizes are seen scattering among the new wreckage, Mines to rear begin detonating into a massive chain reaction that the blast hurtles the ship forward now, the crew on board and the Lord of War himself have been tossed around and no one is at there post any more, automatic safety protocols take over, assuming the tractor beam locks have been broken, the ship would steam out of the area towards the the now closer heavies of the Lord of War's Fleet, "Wardogs" continued to fight on engaging anything in sight, if there was anything left.*

*Alarms are blaring on the bridge as Bacca picks himself up and re-seats himself to his command chair, he helps re-route power from damaged areas and put it to better use, like shields and engines, Admiral Keiths and most of the bridge crew are starting to pick themselves up and getting back into position, thou the pre-plotted course to Bilbringi is unstoppable, 70% of weapons still work and fire covering fire as the massive wreckage of a ship hauls out to meet it's supporting heavies, which lay down covering fire as well. Bacca moves for his private shuttle bay and meets his Queen there, they board the shuttle and launch towards "Altered". Arriving shortly, the shuttle enters the main belly hanger of the SSD, landing, DLT and Bacca exit and move for the bridge.*

Re: Open Orbit

ME NOE War SL

*By this point in the battle, General Kaine himself has reached the command center in Hyllyard, and is overseeing while not interfering in the Admiral's command. He watches as thousands of his people sacrifice themselves to win the victory of the day, knowing that the responsibility is his to see that their honourable deaths make for future victory. The Mandalorian forces were reeling, but their lines had not broken, their resolve, though under intense pressure, had not yet broken.

Only nine Keldabe battleships survived the minestorm, though they were wise to the tactic, and had employed a hail of fire to defend their formation, still they had taken a fearful pounding. Their fellows lost, the remaining ships nevertheless pressed their attack on the SSD's stern and engines, determined to ensure its complete and utter destruction, whatever the cost. Here is where the Sith battle meditation fell down against Mandalorians. It could make them slow, it could make them cautious, but it could not make them fear death. Not in combat. Not when it was the ultimate in life ending for the entire culture. Oh, no, sithy, your mind tricks don't work here.*

*The murderous assault from the SSD ordered by Lord Bacca himself caused somewhat of a respite in the fire from the seven interdictors arrayed around the NOE flagship as the energies were rapidly routed to the shields, in a vain attempt in two cases to protect themselves. Two of the massive 4km vessels, Turn and River, were overwhelmed when their shields failed and quickly reduced to 0 capability by the NOE's guns. The other five, however, managed to maintain enough shields to protect their commands, and their tractor beams and gravity well projectors remained activated, still enough to hold the severely damaged SSD in place for now. The planet's guns were still firing on the super, and the distant gleam of the Admiral's command vessel Doomhammer was closing as it came into weapons range. The Admiral stood on the bridge as he watched the much reduced but still firing Mandalorian fleet blasting away determinedly at the remains of the SSD, resolute in their desire to die taking it down.*

*On the planet, Kaine watched as a shuttle launched from the SSD, without mandalorian fighters in any condition to intercept it, he was powerless, and though he had no way to know it for sure, somehow he had a hunch that it was the enemy leadership retreating. Rats leaving the sinking ship, he thought.* *Shouldering to an inactive comm console, taking a moment to get the attention of the ground based weapons officer, Kaine opened a wide band frequency to the entire Myrkr system.*

Ground batteries, concentrate all your fire on whatever capital vessel that shuttle that left the SSD lands on. Let them know we can see them sneaking out.

:: To all our brave and glorious Mandalorian brothers and sisters, and to the shabla siit hut'uun who came here making war, this is General Kaine Australis.

Take heart, my vode, that today marks the day a line has been drawn in the sand. A resounding bellow, a roar of OYA! has been heard across this galaxy this day. A roar they have heard once before. The Clans of Mandalore are coming. Too long has this galaxy fallen corrupt, weak, content for profit and the enslavement of those deemed unworthy. Today we have given voice to the voiceless. Today, Mandalore stands united, and we have cast down with a mighty vengeance those who would enslave us all. This New Order of the Eye is the greatest enemy our galaxy has ever faced. Truly, we are blessed to live in such a time, to have after centuries a worthy adversary. Take heart, for from now on, we are the hunters. Let's hunt, my brothers, and may the best vod shove a beskad in the eye!

To our enemies, run while you can. The Clans are gathering, and I swear to you it will not be long before we come and repay your visit at your homes. Batten down the hatches, little sith, the Mandos are coming for you! ::
*Kaine looked around, but before he could say anything else, he was drowned out by a roar of Mandalorian pride*

OYA!

Re: Open Orbit

*The battle between space titans had provided ample distraction for the wounded shuttle to creep away, slinking and slithering towards the edge of the system like a fleeing Deryvian snake. Inside the cockpit, Famine and Fascist struggled to keep the ship moving, praying as they did so that the hyperdrive jump would work and not tear the ship apart in the process. It was as the scorched hull of the silver Imperial shuttle neared its exit vector that the Sith Clone's ears were availed by the on board communicator, playing a message transmitted out to the entire Myrkr system. He listened intently, his foul mood deepening with every word spoken.*

*It was not the fact that the voice that spoke belonged to the man he had come to murder, for in truth he had always thought it unlikely that the mission would be a success. How could it be while under the direction and command of the damnable Inquisitor? No, it was the unbroken spirit that he heard in the voice that troubled him so. This was a world that had come under siege, and though repel the foe they had, many had given their life on the planes of Myrkr. The forest was likely riddled with the bloated corpses of Sith and Mandalorian alike, set to fester and rot in the sweltering jungle humidity. These should be a torn people, utterly depressed and sullen feeling. He should have suspected the pride of his foe to be too great, the sheer arrogance of the Mandalorian people too stubborn to give into normal human emotion. This was not a battle he would have chosen, not a fight he would have taken part in, not a war he would have giving his blessing to. If such atrocity had been committed to the citizens of any Jedi held world the result would have been as he desired, but these Mandalorians were an odd people. They loved violence and combat more than any one culture of people rightly should.*

*A gloved hand ran over the navigation computer, smearing blood and puss upon the screen as he double checked the calculations. Just as his hand was about to slip to the throttle, sending the shuttle either spiraling into hyperspace or causing it to ignite in a ball of fiery fury, he overhead the last of the message as it played a second time on loop.*

*Spoken from the lips of the general, the Eye apparently was recognized as the greatest threat to the known galaxy. Well, that was something at least. If he couldn't crush the will of a people with his twisted deeds, at least he could propel the Order's name towards infamy. Likewise he felt the same about the Mandalorian Empire, for nary was there an enemy capable of holding the hounds of the Eye at bay until now. Begrudgingly he admitted they were worthy of concern, though still he felt that his Order held the ultimate chance of victory in the coming conflicts. After all, they commanded the power of the Dark Side, were blessed by Palpatine, and were the chosen champions of the Almighty Eye. They could no more lose than a wamp rat could sprout wings and fly. This was merely a test of their worthiness, a chance for their deity to assess the devotion of its followers. He would not fail it, his faith was pure, his dedication to the cause unparalleled by any save for his brothers on the council.*

*Dragus cursed out loud once more, bidding the system farewell in the only way he knew how. As the button was struck and the final prayers were spoken, the shuttle lurched forwards and streaked across the star line, vanishing from sight as it entered hyperspace and departed the system.*

Re: Open Orbit

ME/NOE War SL.

*The critically wounded Flagship of the Eye takes a few more good hits to the rear as she reaches the protection of the three Heavies, working in unison under direct command of Vice-Admiral Halifax Scotia, "Altered", "Rapier" and "Warlord", with their firing solutions plotted for the chasing ships, the bridge of the first two Interdictors in the lead/closest, erupting with fire first from Mass Driver Cannons, firing four 8,000mm Nuclear/DU (Yield of 1 Giga-ton) Shells, two from “Altered” at one ship fired ten seconds apart, and one each from “Rapier” & “Warlord” on another also ten seconds apart, the 30Km/s shell take little time to streak toward their intended targets, at this range shields are basically useless and so is defensive fire, this continues every minute until the first two are disabled or destroyed. At this point they would move on to the next two closest Interdictors. All other available weapon systems target the meat of these ships and fire. Un-wavering they hold course and speed at maximum sub-light velocity until the Flagship disappears into hyperspace.

The Fighter squadrons of the three SSD’s target the closest Keldabe battleship, firing predominantly at the bridge. Relentlessly letting loose with all ordinances, they engage and vector towards the next closest Keldabe battleship, repeating the process. This continues until all nine Keldabe battleships are attacked by the fighter squadrons. After taking enemy fire and possible losses were counted, the squadron regrouped and started over.*

{SSD "Altered"}
*Bacca and DLT entered the command bridge of the SSD, They move past Vice-Admiral Halifax Scotia who is busy directing and move to the Holo-table to view the ensuing battle. Bacca points to the shuttle bearing the transponder codes of Dragus.*
IC: *Growling in a beastly manner.* About time he stopped Drag-assing, *looks upon DLT.* I believe I will have Dragus pay for the repairs with one-hundred of his finest Ewoks, Untainted by him of course, Next I will have him watch as I rip each one apart limb by limb and bathe in their blood, Maybe I’ll have his Ewok mistress on Stor Station sent to the Rancor training grounds on Adarlon.

*Meanwhile….*

{WarDogs}
*Wing Commander Lieutenant-Colonel Danaroth gives the order to re-group with the four support craft and attack the approaching ship from planetary orbit (“Doomhammer”).*
*Encrypted Comms.*
=Lieutenant-Colonel Danaroth=
:: All Wings on Me, Move for cover support behind the Supports, We’ll shield ourselves behind the sensor masks, Ready bombing and strafing runs on that ship, Vector out of system once completed, Return to Bilbringi, May the Eye protect Us and guide our hands Justly. ::

*The four Support ships start towards the “Doomhammer” reaching maximum sub-light speed relatively quick, they move fast at the SSD, laser and ion cannons blazing, at the correct time, the seventy-two remaining fighters of the “Eye of Pzob” jump out and attack with ferocity all weapons free, suicidal in their actions.*
