*Zazana stood up off the ground wrapping his black cloak around him more as he started to head towards the city.*

Ah always walking with no where to go so much fun wondering around.

*Zazana was talking to himself as he walked*

Re: Open Terrain

*The raider transports land out side of another, larger, Gamorrean village.**

*10 Kroot Commandoes- Armed with disruptors and Cortosis weaved Vibroblades
500 Elite Kroot warriors- Armed with an assortment of blasters
1,000 Kroot Warriors- Armed with Slugthrowers
50 Starhawk 2b speeder bikes armed with dual Laser Cannons and an armed Passenger
10 T2-B repulsor tanks

The Raiding army moves in quickly on the village with the Starhawk Speeders arriving first.
The Village raises the alarm but the fast speeders are already in the town. This time many more Gammoreans come out to fight but once again to no avail. The warriors are overwhelmed and many of them were stunned rather than killed to help with the harvest.

By the time the Main Army arrives there is little resistance left. The Raiders call in their transports and begin loading up the captured Gammoreans. The Kroot army takes only a handful of casualties as the Gammoreans are subdued and forced onto the transports. So far everything was going smoothly*

Re: Open Terrain

*The transports arrive to collect the Kroot's latest slave run. The raid this time proved even more lucrative than the last one. 7,567 Gamorreans that were deemed healthy and young enough were loaded up on to the transports. The few that were sick or old were simply left behind.*

*An ARC-170 touches down in a clearing on the surface. Marcus steps out, his pilot's HUD beeping as he powers down the system and removes the mask from his face. His hair is matted and black and he wears a black and silver uniform with a blaster pistol at his hip. It looks very military like*

*Albrecht jumped down out his Alpha-3, surveying his surroundings. The plain stretched towards the horizon, bordered by some forests and mountains.*

:: Y'know, I heard of a group of mercenary's on Gamorr that might be able to give ya something to do. Why not go check it out? Earn something for blowing stuff up rather than just do it for fun. ::

*Albrecht chuckled as he remembered his comrades words. Always trying to get him to do something. All the offers of thing never worked before, mostly because of Albrecht's stubbornness, but for some reason, the ex-imperial commando decided to follow this trail. Albrecht grabbed his DC-17m from behind the pilots seat for good measure, before heading out.*

Re: Open Terrain

      "Hold it."

Samuel froze at the sound coming from the dense group of trees off to his left. Right hand dropping to the handle of the submachinegun hanging at his side, he slowly turned to face the person approaching him. The figure that strode out of the trees was a giant. Standing at what Samuel estimated to be around seven feet tall and weighing perhaps two hundred and fifty pounds, the bald, bearded man stopped about six feet from him. The giant was clad in heavy leather combat armor, with a blaster rifle slung over his left shoulder. Booted feet thunked heavily into the soft dirt as the arrival clomped closer to him. After a moment, his face came into light. He was bald, with a braided goatee that reached his collar bone and mutliple scars criss-crossing most of his face. He wore a grim expression.

At the last moment, both men broke into similar smiles and shook hands firmly.

      "Garrett. You're late."

The giant's expression didn't change as he turned to take in the road that they found themselves on. They were in a deserted part of the forest, the road upon which they stood used only by those taking the long way to far off destinations with far grander things to offer than those of the few nearby villages, which were barely scraping by as it was. Though his face didn't betray any nervousness, Samuel noticed that Garrett's hand positioned itself nearer his rifle than usual.

"Sue me. I had a little trouble getting here."

Samuel frowned and repositioned the shoulder strap holding his weapon so that the submachinegun rested easily against his right hip.

      "Trouble?"

"Nothing I couldn't handle...a few of Eric's men decided it was time for me to be leaving. I took care of it."

Samuel shook his head in exasperation. Garrett wasn't exactly renowned for his subtlety. If he had 'taken care' of a situation, it probably meant a pile of corpses and one very shot up cantina. At times Garrett's methods had gotten them both into more trouble than they had bargained for. Still, the giant had saved his life more times than he cared to admit, and Samuel owed him big time...Garrett might not remember it the same as him, but he was pretty sure that he had saved Garrett's hide a few times as well. Overhead, a bolt of lightning lashed the sky angrily, leaving a purple scar against the heavy gray backdrop. Something wet splattered against the end of his nose and he pulled his hood up, then shifted his smg so that it was hidden inside his cloth jacket, safe from the rain and from prying eyes. Garrett took no such precautions, standing with his arms folded over his chest as the rain began to come down harder. Before long both were soaked, though the big man definitely got the worst of it.

A half hour or so passed, and then the sound of an engine cut in between the peals of thunder and the steady tapping of the rain on the leaves of all the trees. Both men stiffened at the sound and exchanged dark looks.

      "You reckon that's them?"

"It just about has to be, doesn't it? Go back into the forest, I'll stop them and signal you if I need any help."

The big man's only response was a quick nod of the head before he trotted over to the edge of the forest and disappeared inside. Taking a few deep breaths to steady his nerves, Samuel stepped into the center of the road and turned to face the approaching speeder car just as it rounded the corner. It came to a sudden halt about ten feet from where Samuel was standing, shouts of surprise from those inside mingling with the roar of the thunder as it pounded down upon the planet. Striding forward purposefully, Samuel bent down to peer into the driver's side window at those sitting within. Driving was a droid. Samuel didn't know what kind; he didn't really care for their kind. Sitting in the passenger street was a muscled Duros with a heavy blaster pistol on his hip and a dangerous expression on his face. Craning his neck, Samuel took a look at the two sitting in the back. One was a thin, gray haired man appearing to be in his late sixties, wearing a white suit and a bowler hat. The other was the man they were looking for. Alan White, a fat, squat man who wore a cheap gray suit and had a cigar stuck between his jowls. A sneer fouled his otherwise beautiful features and his beady eyes squinted angrily through thick spectacles.

      "What's the meaning of this?!"

The man in the white suit burst out angrily. At the same time, the Duros in the front seat, obviously a bodyguard, began easing his pistol from its holster, an ackward motion considering that he was very nearly sitting on the weapon and the seat was preventing him from bending his elbow in such a way as to make such an action easy. Flashing a plastic smile of the kind usually flaunted by greasy corporate executives, Samuel raised a hand apologetically.

"I'm terribly sorry, this will only take a second."

Straightening nonchalantly, Samuel leveled his submachinegun and squeezed the trigger, moving the barrel back and forth through the limited space provided by the open driver's side window. He saw the Duros take at least five rounds to the chest before his pistol could clear its holster, but that was the only thing that he could see clearly amonst the chaos going on inside the tiny speeder. The droid apparently survived the first few seconds of firing, because a second or so after the Duros slumped in the seat the speeder car suddenly jumped forward and sped off. With a loud curse, Samuel leveled his weapon again and fired, striking the rear thrusters of the vehicle and causing it to swerve and plow into one of the trees lying just beyond the edge of the forest. He started to walk towards it, but Garrett was already jogging from his hiding place in the trees.

      "Did I get them all?"

Samuel called out as Garrett unslung his blaster rifle and approached the speeder. Leaning forward, the big man studied the inside of the speeder intently for a moment, and then levelled his rifle and fired a three-round burst into the vehicle. Turning, he gave Samuel the thumbs-up.

      "Yep."

"We should get back to the village, then. We've got a lot to do before our work is finished.

Garrett's only response was a nod as the two men fell into an even stride, heading in the direction that the speeder had been coming from.

Re: Open Terrain

*Probes skimmed along Gamorr's terrain, hovering on repulsor jets as they swept through the area. Their advanced sensory equipment busied itself scanning for different life signatures.* *Even though they were unarmed, the presence of a machine might appear as a threat to the local Gamorrean population. As such, the probes stuck mostly to areas uninhabited by population centers. The goal of these scans was to seek out viable resources for exploitation. The Gamorreans themselves had already been set aside for such exploitation, what with the TSTS' plans to begin packaging and distributing bacon. However, the planet was a big place. The company believed there might be other resources available for similar exploitation.* *The probes had a maximum range of two hundred kilometers from Jugsmuk, or at least for the moment. Once the orbital space platform was in place, the combined with the communication satellites in orbit, the signal could be boosted and the probes could extend further distances from the core of the companies compound. For now they would seek out resources in the current area, then report back to home base.*

Re: Open Terrain

*Repulsor craft flew over the many villages and settlements across the planet, dropping fliers regarding the "Theme Park" in Jugsmuk. The supply of bacon was dropping steadily without Gamorreans visiting more regularly. There was a definite need for more tribes to visit the slaughterhouse, otherwise the galaxy would have to suffice to eating just eggs for breakfast.* *But as we all know, eggs are nothing without their salty pork stripped buddy bacon at their side. You could try and forget by substituting with extra toast or having a second cup of stim caf, but it just wasn't the same.* *Thousands of fliers written in basic Gamorrese were distributed, while the holo-net propaganda advertising the theme park was played at more regular intervals.*

*It just goes to show why watching too much television is bad for you. Well, assuming you are a Gamorrean.*

Re: Open Terrain

*TSTS executive, Cho Wei, looked out the window of the repulsor craft as the vehicle neared another Gamorrean village. Sitting on either side of him were two fully armed Stormtroopers, acting in the capacity of his escort while visiting the settlement.* *It had been years now since the company had set up its Imperial Bacon branch on the swampy planet. Since that time, village after village was depleted of fresh pig men and women. The Gamorreans had been misled, made to believe that fortunate awaited them, when in truth it was the butcher's blade. Nothing in the galaxy could compare to a delicious, juicy, succulent piece of Gamorrean pork. It made the inhabitants of the world as valuable a resource as their timber and cultural products.* *The craft set down just outside the palisade walls, shutting down its engines and allowing Cho to disembark.*

*He'd already done this multiple times before with solid results. Today would be no different.* *He greeted the boars at the gate, offering them trinkets and shiny stone to buy his way inside. The stormtroopers appeared uneasy, though they kept the barrels of their blasters pointed down. An hour later and Cho had spoken with the chieftain, struck a deal, and made his way back towards Jugsmuk where Twin Suns Transport Services kept an outpost.*

*Within days the Gamorreans would arrive at the factory, unknowingly finding themselves on the chopping block. By then it would be too late. There was no escaping this eventuality. It had happened over and over again without interruption. All too easy.*
