Never was there a world so beset by mystery, yet so full of potential.

Shadowed in a enigmatic veil of mystery, little is known of the planet Panatha, resting wearily in the Pacanth Reach of the Outer Rim. The planet is covered with a motley of adjacent rainforests and jungles, ended and separated only by the painful jetting of mountainscapes, resembling an out-cast scar against the face of the morose planet. Besides differentiation in monotypic terrains, hardly congruous with one another but easily peered from the friendly and safe reaches of space, very little is known of the planet, it's history, and it's people. The Galactic Directory has distinguished few discerning features of the planet, one colloquially referred to as the Tree City. Hardly what one would consider the bowels of a sarlacc pit, but by far not the first choice for those looking for a vacation resort. Like any planet, mostly unknown to the universe: with ever subsequent step through the terrain, the insidious nature of the planet becomes ever more apparent.

Arguably, the most dangerous aspect of Panatha is its people, the Epicanthix. Slightly resembling the common ancestry of humans, they have long narrow faces with close cropped eyes and ceremonially tied hair that showed both beauty and practicality. Epicanthix are a sort, predisposed to a warrior type temperament and the gift of long life, though some would call it a curse. War has been their greatest provision, yet the culture has inherently been touched by the prospect of art and culture. While their hands are calloused from work of martial law, their minds swell from the study of mathematics, architecture, and the stellar use of space-capable technology. With the artistic, yet brazen warrior-like, approach, the Epicanthix were capable of subduing planets within nearby proximity with utmost ease - a tribute to their grace and tenacity. Given to sprees of effervescence, the Epicanthix people can seem almost psychotic: enjoying your company at one moment and taking insult at the smallest gesture in the very next. The temperament of the people is almost as difficult to discern as the terrain of the planet.

Ground Rules:
This planet follows the tenants of the natural laws within the site. However, certain rules within the planet change the variables that would convene over combat and typically determine the result.
    • First and foremost, you can not, as of right now, obtain control of the planet. However, as a group, faction or individual, you can obtain the planets favor. How does this affect you? The forces of the Epicanthix, during a combat situation, may or may not choose to align themselves with you. How they favor you is inherently a mystery, much like the rest of the planet, and can change the tide of any situation. Will they be your foe or will they be an ally? And remember, the favor of the Epicanthix can be as fickle as the wind or as stern as the trees that populate the planet, so tread carefully.
    • Secondly and related to the first ground rule, all forms of RP are warranted on the planet and all types of RPer's are welcome. Do you wish to attempt to plant, and successfully so, crops on the mountain? You might find yourself deified in the eyes of the locals. Trying to bulldoze some of the forest and build a house? Who knows whether that will insult the warriors of Panatha or provide tribute and ease the tenuous relationship between man and nature. No Rp is too large or small, but everything will have consequences.

Defenses:
The defenses of the planet are considerably unique in that, much like the rest of the world, they are veiled in secrecy that only the most prestigious of the native Epicanthix understand. At one moment, a single turret may respond to an intruding fleet and in the very next breath, may produce an entire array of planetary defenses to quell the nature of even the smallest force. When one attacks Panatha, they roll the dice of fate.
