Re: Rhen Var Citadel

~With a smile Mira sets herself in the snow than cocks her head back to glance over her shoulder at the various people. All good at their trade and honest people or so the force told her. She always had a this sense of people. It was this feeling that drew her to her monsterous friend here. She remembered it clearly. Most students were afraid of his large frame and build. Still this didn't stop Mira from befriending him. Though he was pretty stubborn and wanted to be alone at first, likely because he wasn't used to having a friend. Still Mira pressed and now here they were best of friends. The Togorian was indeed massive and intimitating but Mira knew he was a teddy bear unless you messed with something precious to him. Mira jumps up and locks her arms around the Togorians neck and holds on resting on his back. She knew that she would weight very little to him and she was so often doing this to him anyways its not like it was something new.

Are you ready to move on yet? This has been our home for sometime. It has been a nice place always kind to us. The weather was always predictable.

A soft purring laugh escapes her at the weather comment. What she said was true though. Rhen Var was likely the place they had stayed the longest in their travels. The weather didn't bother these two and it was a beautiful planet in its own way. Mira stares out over the landscape just looking over the beauty of it all.~

Re: Rhen Var Citadel

Chrome leans forward slightly to take Mira's weight, and gazes out over the glittering terrain of the planet. He turns his head slightly to take in the Citadel that had offered them shelter when they needed it. It was indeed a world of beauty. But it was not their world, not their destiny

"We have been here for a long time. And it has been a good time. But we were never meant to stay here."

Chrome turns and walks throuigh the snow and onto the ridge with Mira still on his back. Below them, the shallow, wide crater their work crews had dug out spread across the ice. Steam rose from the edges as the crews worked to free the last of the massive ship from the ice.

"It is an inspiring sight, is it not? We will be able to do much good with this ship."

With a sudden rumble, bright lights flared from the rear section of the ship, melting broad trenches through the ice. The dull roar of the engines idled down to stand by, then dropped into silence as they shut down again. In the aftermath of the deafening sound, another roar rose up from the work crews as they realised that their jobs were almost done, and that their new lives as the operators of a Praxeum Ship were about to begin

Re: Rhen Var Citadel

~The giant ship sat frozen in the ice. When Mira and Chrome first ran into it they couldn't figure out what it was suppose to be. Finally finding a opening however they managed to find a way into the old beat up and idle ship. Through much exploring and tests they found out it was still quite operational. All it needed was some minor fixes her than there new wires some new panels ect... It wasn't long before they started hiring various works to restore the old ship and bring it back to live. This task was both long and hard for all parties involved but now seeing the end result was well worth it. The ship was more of a moving station than anything only being lightly armed but with a great amount of cargo space. This is was perfect for what Chrome and herself had in mind.

I agree the ship will be good. It's a beautiful sight and just what we needed. However me must give the workers a day off tomorrow and take the time to meditate next to the grand statue before we depart.

Mira remained on her friends back and at times has been known to stay like that for hours. Instead of focusing on trivial things such as walking she used her focus to reach out with the force. Like a rising current of wind it brushed her from all sides. Telling her about everything aorund them.~

"Indeed, we should."

Chrome motioned to the foreman, waving him over. When the rough looking human approached, Chrome spoke to him in baic. Although his second language, Chrome was fluent in the spoken form of basic, if not the written. His voice was rough, and his speach pattern unusual, as was the case with most who spoke languages other than basic.

"Get the ship free. Then give everyone a day off. We wil be at the statue. Get us after they have their day."

Chrome gently patted the man on the shoulder, then turned back towards the Citadel. He had made sure to tell the man to come get them because when wandering the courses of the Force together, Mira and he often lost track of time in the real world. With a shrug gentle enough not to disturb Mira from her perch, Chrome started towards the Citadel, his massive frame cutting easily through the snow, the wind rippling his thick grey fur

Re: Rhen Var Citadel

~Mira just smiles as Chrome tells the forman about their plans. She could still remember a time when that had happened. It was back on the planet Lao-Mon she did beleieve. They had been hiding there awhile the sith lord of the planet had been away after all what sith would think jedi would be crazy enough to hide on their planet. It had been a beautiful planet full of life and very strong in the force. There was taint in some areas that were dark side but the planet had to much area and life to be even fractionally tainted. They had found the safety of a cave there and within a week period had a good feel for the creatures and enviroment. They had been so consumed with the amount of life there they had decided to meditate for awhile. The next thing Mira knows they wake up and it was close to two weeks later. Their bodies had only been kept going through pure force attachment and they had become almost to week to stand. She really didn't want that again even though the journey had taught them much. Chromes shrug wakes her up from her little day dream and she smiles down at him. Making his way through the snow was easy for someone of his build. His gray fur was lovely in contrast to the white of the snow where as her own orange fur really stuck out. The wind was blowing the tips of her fur and tail. Reaching down with her tail she grabs some of the snow and makes it mist playfully above her and chrome. Knowing the statue wasn't far away she lays back against chrome and just relaxes waiting to make it to the end of their journey.

Infinite in mystery is the gift of the goddess
We seek it thus, and take to the sky
Ripples form on the water's surface
The wandering soul knows no rest

Mira says these lines softly with her lovely voice that often described soft as an angel. It was just something she had once read often and something that was always on her mind was this poem. These lines where apart of it and she wanted to test her friend to see if he remembered`

Re: Rhen Var Citadel

Chrome blew a puff of air up, poofing the snow into the air. He continued to walk, entering the citadel, and grew silent as Mira's soft voice filled the hall. Chrome loved to listen to her soft voice, and could sit for hours as she recited the poem as she was now. Chrome let his deep voice rise in counterpart to Mira's as she spoke

"...soul knows no rest.
There is no hate, only joy
For you are beloved by the goddess
Hero of the dawn, Healer of worlds."

Re: Rhen Var Citadel

*Zik's shuttle made a pass over the citadel and landed not far from the outside. Scans had picked up on excavation and a look of worry passed over the young man. He wasn't expecting there to be anyone in the citadel, and he had no way to be sure they were friendly. Zik packed his bag and lowered the ramp. The cold air hit him and sent a chill up his spine.

Rhen Var certainly isn't Honoghr, but i guess thats why I'm here...

The young echani's plan, for now, was to stay out of the way of whoever was here unless they proved themselves friendly or threatening. He had no delusions of granduer here, nor did he rarely. The Jedi stepped off the shuttle and made his way towards the main entrance.

Re: Rhen Var Citadel

Rising stiffly, Chrome stood from his cross-legged position, and left Mira to meditate at the statue. Even as a Force Sensitive, one such as him could not cultivate the neccesary focus to remain in meditation for the long period his companion could. Intent on getting some space and fresh air, Chrom headed out of the hall towards the main entrance. Just shy of the entrance, he froze. Someone was coming, and it didn't smell like one of the hired crew

*Zik looked on as the large Togorian stood, and the over all size of him put a slight feeling of terror in the much smaller echani man. Zik tightened the robotic hand under his right sleeve then reached up and pulled his hood up to disapate the bright light caused by the surrounding snow. He held his left hand up as he approached.*

I'm Jedi Knight Zik Kine of the Honoghr acadamy. Mind if I ask what what you've got going on here?

Re: Rhen Var Citadel

As the man approached, Chrome brushed against his mind lightly with the Force, enough to tell that he wasn't lying about who he was. Once he could tell that, Chrome relaxed, visibly, untensing his muscles, and letting his hands fall away from the lightsabers hanging from his belt. Chrome stepped forward slowly, and offered a hand to the man

"Blademaster Chrome, servant of The Light. My...associate, and I discovered a ship buried in the ice. A Jedi Praxeum ship. And it's still in working order."

Re: Rhen Var Citadel

*As the forces from Scorpia Industries descended upon Rhen Var once more, this time in a ferocious rush to claim as much land and territory from whomever sought to take what had once been theirs all along from them. A strong contingent of vehicles with many regiments of elite troops took shelter and refuge from the cold of Rhen Var in the Citadel of old.*

*Immedately auto turrets and SAM-V platforms were established all across the Citadel walls and exterior surroundings. Barricades blocking off sections that were deemed to unstable were created and general quarters and storage rooms were allocated to various stacks of supplies. Trooper armor and weapons were the first to be set up and stored in case they needed to don their gear and defend their outpost from invasion or assault.*

*Meanwhile, the vehicle depot was established within the confines of the outer wall, setting up multiple mechanic warehouses and other vehicle-geared buildings that would be needed once they began patrols of the Citadel and her surrounding icy countryside.*
