Re: Salvager Camp

Orisis wouldn't have said he believed in some greater being, but this force wasn't a being and it didn't as yet seem to be a deity or a persona with supposed control it simply existed, yet to the extent at which the force gave life and existence its very meaning blew his mind, for if he understood zan correctly without it nothing could exist. Furthermore zan spoke of the force granting those who could feel it an element of power, this was rather an awful lot to absorb and take in at once. Firstly that the galaxy as he knew it was held together by this energy he hadn't but until ten minutes ago knew existed, secondly he, yes he somehow could feel it and thirdly he could somehow use it to do special things. Orisis had certainly not felt special and had never felt unusual or even powerful, he had never as he kenw it used this so called force, so then how could he believed it existed.

Furthermore according to zan there were many groups who believed as zan did and zan was willing to take him to the Jen'saarai; one of these groups and for them to impart there knowledge, well this was too much. "Stop............i'm sorry." Orisis said shaking his head. "I can't believe it's true or posible." He rubbed his eyes and face in despair, zan seemed so nice but how could this all be true. "I have never felt this force or seen it or even been taught of it, how can I possibly beleive it now and believe as you say in its power?"

*Raising an eyebrow at Orisis' words, Zan gave a smirk of sort shortly afterword.*

"Don't believe in the Force, huh? Need a demonstration? Place a cup, or any simple item of yours in front of me. I will show you just a simple example of it's wonder."

Orisis raised his eyebrows in response, but was qucik to rise and fetch a tin can he used as a drinking receptical. He placed it upon the ground before Zan not knowing what the Dragon reckoned he could do with it that would amaze Orisis. The youth then stood there with his arms folded and an unimpressed look on his face, daring Zan, Orisis wanted to out wit him. Perhaps zan didn't expect Orisis to call his bluff, well now he had and now he was for it.

*The Star dragon waited for Orisis to place the empty tin can in front of himself. Once he saw that the man was paying close attention to what the Duinuogwuin would do, Zan closed his eyes as he raised his main arms and hands outward a little bit toward the can. *Concentrating on the magnificence of the Force and submitting himself spiritually to it's greatness. Asking for it's help in the task he wished to accomplish. It only took a few moments for the Force to come to Zan's aid, and the dragon telekinetically levitated the tin can slowly upward in mid-air. It moving inch by inch further into the air. With nothing, no device, no hand, no nothing of any physical sort or technology causing the can to float. There wasn't even any wind happening at the moment to cause what was going on. And after about a minute of floating the tin can in mid-air with telekinesis, Zan slowly lowered the can back to the ground*, then opened his eyes to look at Orisis. Wanting to know how the man would react to seeing the greatness of the Force at work. Zan didn't even speak at all, yet. He wanted Orisis to say what was on his mind first upon witnessing this phenomenon the dragon somehow achieved.*

Re: Salvager Camp

Orisis confident almost cock sure expression feel from his face, his eyebrows rose his face looked aghast. There was nothing wrong with his eyes, there was no device, perhaps some magic illusion but Orisis had never seen one like it, there was only one conclusion, that however improbable the truth was what he was seeing could only be explained by the obvious solution, and that however unlikely that was it must be the truth. The truth was that this great dragon was somehow impossibly making the can lower and it took Orisis breath away, he simply couldn't believe it.

He had nothing to say in response to what he had seen, he simply sat down upon the floor in dumb shock still staring at the now still can that five minutes before had been floating supported by air. He didn't want to dare to believe that everything Zan had told him was true, and that this was the power of the force, or part of its power.

"How is it possible?" He knew the question was probably daft, but he was in shock, his mind was reeling.

=Zan'tet'suken=
*A simple kind smile on his face, Zan answered.*

"Anything is possible through the Force."

*Zan told Orisis. Very plainly. Very straightforward. As if the telekinetic feat was nothing. As if the Force itself could do far greater things, it that itself was quite true. Still looking at the man, the Star dragon sat calmly where he was as he listened to whatever questions Orisis had. If he required more proof of sorts of the Force's greatness, Zan would show him. Or if Orisis agreed to join the Jensaarai in wanting to learn about this power he had deep within himself, the Duinuogwuin would be ready to help him get to Contruum.*

Re: Salvager Camp

Anything........anything, wow. as such it seemed then that this was a meager feat and that with the power of the force one could accomplish much more, Orisis wondered waht potential there lay in its power. However his mind was still swamped with a myriad of questions. His line of thoguht led to one of disbelief, he off all peoples had been born into nothing, had been at the hands of a torturer and now in the space of minutes he had been told he had the power of sheer greatness at his disposal to reshape his future. Finally he managed to form a question. "Where do you draw the force from? How do you use its power?"

=Zan'tet'suken=
*Thinking on the couple of questions for a moment, Zan explained as best he could as his main hands moved about in various gestures.*

"Channeling the Force in it's natural and greatest state requires the Force sensitive to submit themselves spiritually to it's presence. It's presence is invisible, and not touchable in the physical sense, but it is there always as an energy field that embraces all creation surrounding us. You or any other Force sensitive must spiritually submit themselves to it with their minds at ease. The body, mind, and soul at inner peace while that sense of peace is not disturbed by negative emotions. Emotions like hate, fear, and aggression. The Force frowns upon those emotions and it's will does not work with such emotions."

Re: Salvager Camp

*Sergey's Sapienism ideals had struck a cord with a few folk on Dantooine. Dantooine itself wasn't that populous, especially with the Jedi Enclave laying inactive. But Khoonda still functioned well, and if Sergey Bonteri was going to drum up support enough to win an election, he would have do go beyond Khoonda. As such, he had asked for a volunteer in his meagre group, and that volunteer had been Kimberly Watson. She was red-haired, tall, curvy and well blossomed. Everything Sergey had needed to make the habitants of the Salvager Camp sit up and listen.

Historically, the Dantooine colonists did not have the need for an election before as the government had been predominately led by the Jedi Enclave. But Sergey wanted to change that. He wanted to bring in new ideas that he thought were sorely needed. That was why Kimberly was there, at the Salvagers Camp. She didn't really expect to get people to sign up to the Sapienism ideals, but she did want to get the message out there.

So she had brought a lot of old fashioned flimsiplast flyers. On arriving, wearing a womanly tunic and keeping her hair braided, she immediately drew attention. It was sexual attention, well for the most part, but others couldn't help but look at her.

That was the reaction she wanted.*

***

*In half an hour she had only handed out a single flyer. People here just didn't seem interested, and by the Force there was plenty of through-traffic. She persevered, though. Sapienism would get through to these people, somehow. Just like it had gotten through to her.

She studied one of the flyers again. It had the Sapienism flag pasted all over it. Rumour had it that Sergey had made it from one of the old Sith Order symbols. Whatever past connotations it might have had, Sapienism was something new and fresh.*
"Order through health" *was one of its slogans*. "Power through longetivity" *another. Sergey had wanted something new for Dantooine and Kimberly had to admit, she had never seen anything like this before.*

Re: Salvager Camp

*Kimberly was still at the Salvager Camp a day later, having elected to rent a space in one of the communal tents of the evening. Waking up, she found the Salvager Camp in a hustle and bustle, with teams assembling for salvaging runs into the enclave and the other historical sites around Dantooine. Team leaders were shouting out their destinations, along with threats of violence to the failures. Kimberly gulped and marvelled at how ordered and ready these guys were at early hours in the morning! She made a mental note of this for futher trips - the best place to catch them all out and about was right after dawn.

Kimberly decided to make use of the situation and crab what flyers she could find lying around and began to circle the salvaging teams, handing out flyers to everyone who looked at her. She found these people to be much more receptive than those of yesterday.*

"Success!" *She said in delight, clapping her hands to her chest in relief. Nearly all her flyers were gone.*

Re: Salvager Camp

*Kimberly had recieved the message at the most inopportune time. She was ready to see which directions all the different salvager groups headed in their day-to-day missions, purely out of curiosity's sake. But then again, she had completed her job in spreading the word of Sapienism around the Salvagers, and she was sure it was only part of Sergey's master plan. She looked at her PDA.*

  Code:
PDA
From: Sergey Bonteri
To: Kimberly Watson
Concerning: Spreading the word

Dear Kimberly,

I hope you are fine and well, my dear. And I hope your mission was a success! Hopefully you enjoyed more than the sunshine in the Salvager Camp in the two days you have been gone. I have not heard anything from you so I assume you have done well. I message you for your recall as I am ready to go forward with the expansion of our Ideal. Please, at your best rate, hasten to Khoonda and meet me at my office. We have much to discuss. I will also be bringing along Griffin Parkinson who I am assured would like to meet you.

Cordially,

Sergey Bonteri.

*Kimberly was quite happy, actually. She had more to give to Sergey when she got back than a few left-over flyers; she had intermingled with the Salvagers and knew some of their daily routine, which would be useful.

Also, she was looking forward to seeing Griffin. She had not seen him before but his good looks were known throughout Khoonda. This quickened her pace back.*
