Re: Tal En Gurtha

*He carries on. His only real motive in coming to the planet was to check up on his holdings, to make sure that after he is dead and gone, his seeds shall inherit his worldy things. His order shall inherit his wealth of coin and knowledge.*

*Feeling Xeroc's presence was unexpected but all the same, it was welcomed. Perhaps Pyros could be the one to finally release C'thulu from his morbid cycle, dying only to be forced back into the realm of the living. Perhaps if C'thulu fell with honor, he would sleep eternally, such he could only wish for.*

*He continued into the city and to his offices, slipping in unnoticed and ascending to his private and rarely used office. there the Dead One organized his finances and pumped new life into his businesses. He signed off several documents with disdain and hurriedly pushed through the rest of his menial tasks.*

*His mind was else where. Would death ever truly claim him? He didn't know. The force was a cruel spinster of men's lives, weaving fate, joy and tragedy together. The Dark Jedi viewed themselves as a blade, carving out their own destiny within the universe. If C'thulu had conquered death as he so often claimed, life had conquered him. He felt trapped and he longed for rest. He had done his part for his brothers, for his people and his order. He was ready to join his fallen brothers and loved ones, ready to feast with them for eternity.*

*He closed up his office and slipped back out, heading into the streets, waiting for the day that never comes.*

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*A young woman entered the city from the terrain, a saber was seen on her hip, but she didn't look like she could wield it. The woman walked slow, as if she were willing her feet on, just one more step each time. Shadows were smudged under her eyes as if she hadn't slept in years, and her body seemed too skinny, the clothes she wore were illfitting, the black pants being held up by a black belt, and the white tanktop hung loosely. She just walked, her eyes dead as she looked around for something*

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*The woman continued through the streets at a slow pace, she stopped as a woman crossed her path, shepherding her children down the street. Her eyes followed the group as they disappeared around the corner, and then her shoulders drooped a little further and her slow pace down the street, her eyes on the ground as she trudged a death march towards the local cantina*

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*At the corner the woman stopped, staring at a flower that had managed to worm it's way up through the sidewalk. Her eyes were sad then, just before she fell to her hands and knees, breaking down into a violent torrent of tears, staining the flower with salt water, she doesn't care that she's the peak of interest of passers by. As her tears subside, her eyes close and she falls sideways, something finally taking hold of her, whether it was sleep deprivation or lack of food was uncleear*

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*C'thulu had lingered too long on Zonoma Sekot. Whatever death he had hoped for was not going to find him here. If Xeroc was on the planet, he did not respond to C'thulu and the Dead Lord of Asgard wished not to waste resources on a man hunt that would only result in dead soldiers and minions. Xeroc would not fall to any but a seasoned warrior, one who had no fear for death and cared little of a legacy.*

*Having finished his business, C'thulu departed from the planet the same way he had come.*

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*The woman's eyes opened slightly as people helped her up, she gasped, sensing something. One man pulled her arm over his shoulders, pulling her towards a restauraunt to sit comfortably. Yet the woman moaned in protest and put a hand to her head*
C-C'thulu......... where........ where did you go?
*The patrons who had helped her let her be once one kind gentleman paid for a meal for her, and another a large glass of water. Yet when both were brought to her, she refused them both. She leaned back in the chair and stared blank-eyed up at the ceiling. Wondering if it had been C'thulu's presence she had felt. It was rumored that he had passed on long ago, but she had held on to the hope that he was still alive. And now, after feeling the presence she had once been used to, the woman leaked a tear and leaned forward, resting her head on the table and sighing loudly, before calling for a bottle of Tihaar*

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*Seph landed his shuttle just outside the city limits and headed into town. He followed the feeling that he had felt in orbit and was soon upon the local pub. He pondered for a moment on why Saya would be here, it was her that he had thought he had felt from so far away before. Another presence still lingered here as well, that of his current master C'thulu. Sephious began to wonder just what was going on here. Seph proceeded inside the cantina and saw a woman sitting at the bar with a bottle. Seph walked over and took a seat and quickly snatched up the bottle from in front of her and spoke.*

"I see little has changed Saya. You look terrible."

*Sephious simply looked forward at the wall just beyond the bar and awaited a response from Saya. It had been a long time since they last saw each other. In fact, she was battered and broken last time they had seen each other. Now Saya looked even worse then that last time.*

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*The woman's head snapped up and her eyes were wide as she just stared at the man next to her. Her ragged hair was cut short from ill-care and her face looked very drawn. For a moment she took her eyes from him to the bottle he had just stolen from her, then her eyes returned to their non-widened stage and she looked back to him*
Do I know you?
*she seemed genuine in asking this questing, a little confused even*
How do you know me?
*she mumbled something and then ordered a new drink for herself, plain whiskey this time. She looked back at the man, wracking her brain for any memory of him, but just couldn't place it*
I-I'm looking for a man named C-C'thulu..... I-I n-need to know.... h-he c-can help me.......
*The whiskey was brought to her and she took a long swig from it, then sighed and set the bottle down*

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*Sephious' head turned slowly towards Saya with a look of puzzlement. How could someone do this much damage to themselves? It was obvious that the amounts of alcohol consumed by Saya in past years had done some permanent damage. Sephious spoke again trying to kick start Saya's memories.*

"Hmmm, it truly is a shame that you have managed to do such damage to yourself. You used to be strong. You and I have been friends a long time, I knew your family as well. How is it that you have forgotten?"

*Sephious pondered a moment on the fact that Saya was here looking for C'thulu. It had been a while since Seph had seen his master. He began to wonder when the last time Saya had seen C'thulu as well. Perhaps he would be able to help with whatever had happened to her.*

C'thulu was here but has since left. Perhaps I could bring you to him. He will know what to do."

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*At the mention of the word family, Saya broke out into a fresh fit of sobs and shaking... her family was dead, she had nothing left, no Zimmy, no Kyle or Lilu, no Ivy or Adoni.... she was alone. The force lashed out uncontrolled from her, breaking some glasses of annoyed patrons*
I have no family.... C'thulu... have to find him....
*She looked back at the man and just stared at him for the longest time*
wait................ seph.............. yes......
*she stared at him a longer time still... silent as the memories flooded back*
h-help me....

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*Sephious was surprised to hear that everyone that he had met in Saya's family was dead. It seemed just like the other day that he had seen Zimmy and the kids. Something truly horrible had happened, and Seph intended to find out just what that was.*

"You know you will always have my help when it is needed. Now, tell me the problem, perhaps we can find the answers together."

*For the longest time Saya just stared at the bottle of whiskey she was nursing*
You know... I had everything.... when the fortress fell..... i lost it......
*she took a swig of her drink then sighed*
I got it back, only to lose it again.........
*She turned her head to face him again, tears are in her eyes now*
I want them back

*Sephious looked Saya in the eyes. The pain she was feeling was apparent in those eyes, and Seph felt that he had to try to do whatever he could to help out his old friend.*

"I think I understand why you were looking for C'thulu now. Do you believe that he can bring all of your family back? And if so, do you think he will?"

*she shook her head and looked back down at her hands*
I want him to kill me....................
*she said it so matter-of-factly that it left no room for question... she missed her family and wanted to be with them*
I want C'thulu to do it.....

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*Sephious wasn't all that shocked to hear Saya speak those words. When last they had spoke, she ha acted similar to now. The only difference was that she had given herself over completely to the idea now. Sephious doubted that he could talk her out of it, but perhaps C'thulu would be able to change her mind. Either that or he would do what she asked and kill her.*

"And what makes you think that he will do that for you?"

*There wasn't any sarcastic tone in Seph's voice. It was just a simple question.*

Because I failed him long ago, it would only be right to bring the end of my life through him

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*Sephious pondered for a moment about what Saya had said. It made sense, sort of.*

"Perhaps he would accommodate your request. However, if I know my master at all, I feel that he may think that your punishment for failing him would be to live. But, if you want to see him, perhaps I could take you to him."

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*Saya raised her bottle to him in a toast*
it will bring closure to a heartbreak that started long before the physical death of my family. but the metaphorical death of the only father i ever had to love me. When the purge of Asgard took place, he no longer saw me worthy of being his daughter. So i set out to prove myself, thereby causing the death of my family and the sanity that went with it!
*she took a hearty swig then slammed the bottle down on the bar, sighing heavilly*

Re: Tal En Gurtha

*Sephious quickly snatched up the bottle with a little use of the force and took a long swig after returning the toast. His body still hurt and he was covered in small cuts. His hair was lightly matted with blood and his normally white and pristine clothing was ripped and dirty as well. Yet, nothing really showed on his face expression wise. The battle on Korriban had taken out a lot from Sephious, but for some reason he was supposed to be here right now with Saya. Seph decided right then and there that he would take Saya to see C'thulu. He would know exactly what to do with her. Seph spoke up after he put the bottle down.*

"I will take you to him if you wish. What he decides to do with you, I have no idea but if you truly want to see him, I will take you."

*She set the proper credits for the two drinks on the bar and stood*
When you are ready.... i have no reason to stay here......
