Re: The Apartment of Gale Harvest, on the city square.

*A medium sized apartment in a large building. It had taken weeks to get one, something about LAN paperwork. It was on the third floor and totalled around 2000 square feet. It contained five rooms and a bathroom. The layout was a six section split, bedroom farthest from the door. It had a basic kitchen, and no furniture. Oddly the walls were all bright pink with a multi colored assortment of hearts in differentiating sizes. Deffinitely one of Adieumus' jokes. Gale had been required to sign a contract in order to move in. As long as he was working with LAN, he was rent free, but had to pay half of any reckless damages, another Matango special. It would be his home on honogr.*

Re: The Apartment of Gale Harvest, on the city square.

*Gale wiped the sweat from his brow as he stretched his back. After a few hours, the furniture had been set up and installed. He had used the "force" as adi called it, to get it up there but then moved it by hand. He had learned alot since he came here, and had begun practicing his signiture attack. He had two shots with it now. Gale walked out and down to the street, thinking of some hard training. He walked out into a small hovering sentry droid, and stumbled backwards. The droid scanned his face and began transmitting a pre-recorded message.*

Trynna Vox
"I am on the planet and am seeking matango. I stole his daughter to lure him out. Come to the crater, we will need to escape quickly. And Gale, don't dissapoint me this time."

*The recording ended with a crackle of static, as he cursed. He had expected her to take longer. He ran up the street towards the surface vehicles, it would take an hour to get through the airlocks. Hopefully he would make it in time.*

Re: The Apartment of Gale Harvest, on the city square.

*The apartment had been empty since Gale had left to assist Vox in her plans. He had never returned. The walls and furniture remained as they were, but now had layers of dust on them. The doors were locked at all times. No sign of an inhabitant had appeared. However, there was a rumor going around that it was haunted. An underwater city with a haunted house, go figure. Recently, at random hours, large thumping and crashing noises were heard, coupled with terrible screams. Sometimes days would pass without any noise, other time it would happen for several hours straight. The security forces had been called several times to inspect the apartment, but no signs of life were ever seen. No footprints in the dust. No access logs of the doors opening. Nothing.

However, one thing was apparent. The frequency of the occurrences was rapidly increasing. Something was happening. The neighbors knew it when, for three hour straight, screams of someone being tortured were resounding through the building. Security was called again. They arrived within ten minutes of the call. They heard the screams and called for backup. They moved in to rescue whoever was being tortured in the abandoned apartment. What they found was not what they were expecting. As they opened the door and moved in, weapons at the ready, they were greeted with a sense of disorientation. As they looked around, trying to remember where they were, they began collapsing to the ground. An entire squad of eight people were taken down within seconds of entering the main room. When they came to, the scenery had changed. They were all strapped to a large set of tables in a circle. Each one had been stripped to their birthday suits. An ambient blue light illuminated the chamber. It appeared to be the inside of a spaceship. But there were no visible doors or openings. The source of light was also undetermined.

Suddenly a voice echoed through the chamber. It was disembodied, and everywhere. It was the voice of a middle aged man at best, it was not harsh or strong, yet it was not weak or raspy.*

Welcome, friends. I lured you here in order to enlist your help. You will notice that the eight of you are strapped to these tables. You will be released from them soon. I will not bring harm to any of you. This is a test of your courage. Your integrity. How far can you go to help another. In exactly one minute your bonds will release and you will be free to move around the room. Before that a young man will enter the room. He will have no idea who, what, where, or why he is. You have fifteen minutes to help him. If you cannot do so, then you will all die.

*As if cued by these words a young man suddenly appeared in the center of the room. He wore only a pair of loose pants, black in color. His body was marked with scars, and he had a well defined muscle structure. He was obviously a fighter. He held his head down, looking at the floor, his face obscured by his hair. His hair was of a medium length, and was a blue color. It was messy and unkempt. His breathing was slow and steady, almost as if he was asleep. The men all observed him for several seconds. Wondering what they could do.

Suddenly the straps holding them down came loose and retracted, freeing them all. Several of them tried to stand and failed. They had been laying there without moving for several hours and had to move slowly. Within a minute, several of them had approached the young man. One of them spoke up, trying to rouse him from his slumber. He jerked suddenly, eyes going wide as he span to face the noise. His arms came up to cover his face in case of an attack. His eyes were almost completely vacant of any hint of life. His breathing picked up slightly as he scanned the room. He lowered his arms as he looked around, almost in a panic. The men stepped back suddenly, startled by his motion. He opened his mouth and spoke.*

"Where am i? Who are you? Who am I?"

*He was panicking. He didn't know anything. One of them spoke up, in an attempt to calm the man.*

"Calm down.... We're here to help you. We don't know who you are or where we are, but I'm sure we can help each other out. Isn't that right guys?" *He nodded to the other guys around him, as they mumbled and nodded in agreement. The young man calmed down slightly, his eyes looking slightly more alive.* "So tell me, can you remember anything about who you are?"

"I.... I.... I remember... A girl.... And... A man... With a fake arm... He was a little over the top.... My name... I don't remember my name..."*He appeared to be in pain as he spoke, clutching his forehead with a hand. However a silent wave of shock spread throughout the room. An over the top man with a Fake arm? That was most likely The Prince. If the one they were talking to was Gale Harvest, then it would make sense as to why he knew him. The one man spoke up again.*

"Well that's good. Do you remember anything about what happened to you?"*He shook his head as a reply.* "How about how you got here?" *He shook his head again. This time another spoke up, his voice was angry.*

"Listen boy, you had better remember something that will get us out of here, or I'm gonna beat you to death." *The first man shot a glare in his direction. That would not help their situation any. As he turned back to face the young man, he flinched. The young man had a shocked expression on. He slowly lowered his hand as his expression slowly turned to one of solid determination. They had received reports on gale in the past. He was treated as very dangerous and able to slaughter an entire squad without his weapons. He was only to be engaged by L.A.N. special forces. Suddenly the voice came back.*

"Your time is up. You had your chance. Now you will be sacrificed to bring Gale back. He was lost in a psychotic stupor that blocked all memories of his life. He is still a wonderful killer, but I need his motives too. And for that, he must be in a situation where his survival becomes threatened enough to fully open his mind. If you can kill him, you will all be set free."

Re: The Apartment of Gale Harvest, on the city square.

*Gale opened his eyes, his vision was blurred, and his mind was hazy. Where was he. He forced himself to look around. He was in a room with eight tables. It had no doors or vents, yet it looked like the inside of a ship. He clutched his head in pain. Had he been here before? There was something odd about the room. He looked around again. Nothing had changed, but he couldn't place it. Maybe it was the fact that it was filled with a blue light? No... that wasn't it either... He fell to his knees as a wave of pain overtook him. He gasped from the intensity. He pulled his hand off the floor and placed it on his forehead. It was wet. He pulled his hand away and looked at it. In the light it appeared to be purple. So, that meant it was covered in something red? Blue and red made purple, so it should be right... So what was wet and red? He started shaking as he was racked by pain. He found it hard to breath. He fell over onto the floor with a wet thud. He was now eye level with the floor, his face resting in a cold puddle of red liquid. It was thick and smelled like metal... Suddenly he realized what was wrong as he tried to stand up. He made it to his knees as he looked around the room. It was covered in blood. Not only that, but there were bodies laying in the ground, some of them in pieces. He was so stunned he couldn't even open his mouth to scream. He scanned the room again. No visible exit. He was trapped in a room where thing died. He had to get out. He pulled with his mind, forcefully filling himself with the force. He built it up inside of himself. It caused waves of pain to fill him, but he couldn't stop. He had to get out. Now. He felt the energy reach a point and he released it. In every direction, all at once, everything he had.*
"RRAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
*The wave of force expanded away from him rapidly, pushing the blood, bodies and tables away. It hit the walls of the room, and stopped. He was standing with his arms outstretched as he pushed harder. There was a loud groaning of metal as the room was torn apart. Sheets of durasteel came apart at the weld and flew in all directions. The cap on the room was blasted straight up, thirty feet in the air. He scanned his surroundings as he pulled in more energy, not letting his fatigue slow him. The large durasteel roof came down with a loud metallic bang on the floor behind him, rolling away to his right before falling over. He was in an empty ware house. It was about one hundred meters long, and fifty wide. The roof was about twenty meters high. As the rest of the Durasteel plates came crashing to stops, the room was filled with loud banging. When everything had settled, he scanned the now silent Warehouse. There was a door on the far end, a huge sliding gate. It was ajar about four feet. In the small space, stood a man, his back to Gale. He began the long walk towards him. As he went, he scanned the catwalks and walls, looking for any signs of an ambush. As he approached the mans back, he turned around.*

"It.... Has been... A while..." *He held out a sheathed sword, motioning for gale to take it. He stared coldly at Gale, almost as if he was in a different world. It was how Shard always looked. Gale slowly reached out and grabbed the sheath, waiting for Shard to release it. Shard stared at him for a moment before letting go and turning away, walking out the door. Gale was hit by another wave of pain as he was thrust back into his memories.*

*He lay on the table in the operating room. He had just been injected with Shard's latest experiment. Pain ripped through his body as his cells were being invaded. He let out a primal scream as he arched against his restraints. He pulled on the force in an attempt to relieve his pain. It only intensified as he drew it into himself. He tried to stop, but couldn't. He was forced to pull in more and more. He pulled everything in the room from its place, bolted against the wall, and in towards him. He crushed it all as he tried to get rid of the power he was building up. Suddenly all the pain stopped as he dropped everything he was holding with the force. His vision darkened as his breathing stopped, his muscles relaxing as he felt the life draining from his body.

He woke with a yell as he leaped off of the table, pulling on the force as he flew through the air. He let it out as he punched the observation window, shattering the glass. He landed in the room beyond, and ran straight for the door. He was blocked by a guard in heavy armor. It was stunned by his sudden appearance and couldn't move. This proved a fatal mistake as Gale tackled him, snapping his neck on the way to the floor. He planted his feet against his chest and pushed with the force. The guard slammed into the floor, his bones splintering from the impact. Gale rocketed down the hallway, reaching the branching hallway in seconds. He twisted in midair, his feet slamming into the wall.
He pushed off again as he aimed himself to the left. The hallway was filled with scientists, running towards the sounds of the exploding glass. He slammed into the one closest to him, taking him to the ground. As he landed on top of him, he grabbed his face and slammed it into the floor, using a force blast to add force to the motion. The head of the man was crushed beneath the powerful impact, spraying blood on the walls and floor. He didn't stop, immediately throwing himself at the next one. He landed in front of him, and thrust both of his hands out, slamming into his chest. He pushed with the force again. It seemed to happen in slow motion. The man was knocked back from Gale slamming him, he was pushed back several inches before the force blast ignited in front of him. A blinding light filled the hallway as the blast burned through the man, leaving a large hole in his chest. The man fell to the ground on his back, skidding a few inches before stopping, dead. Everyone had stopped by now and was staring at Gale. Gale stood, arms outstretched, face covered with his messy hair. It remained as such for several seconds, as realization and panic spread through the hall. The test subject had gotten loose. One of the men slammed his hand into the alarm, shattering its glass cover as everyone began to scatter. Gale exploded from his position, like a beast let off the chain. His superior body allowed him to over take the scientists as he rushed on his way. He got along the first one in his path and sweep kicked his legs. From the crouched position, he raised himself, gripping the mans neck and snapping it violently. He didn't let go though. He turned his body, positioning the still rising body over his shoulder. He pulled it forward and down, flinging it down the hallway. He immediately followed it, right behind it. The body impacted another scientist, knocking him to the ground. Gale gripped him with the force, flinging his arm out. The still living scientist flew along the left side of the hallway, slamming into a door that someone had just started walking through. The door slammed, cutting the person who was walking through in half. He was halfway down the hallway now. Only two people remained in front of him. The one farthest away tripped over himself out of fear and fell down, spinning around, getting a full view of the terror he fled. Gale caught the other one only a second later, grabbing him by the shoulders and throwing him into the wall. He grabbed the mans throat and pinned him there. He glared into the mans eyes as he crushed his throat. He flung the body out behind him, slamming it into the other wall. Turning, he walked towards the man who was shivering in fear on the floor. The scientist raised his arm, futilely trying to shield himself from the horror they had created. The thunder of footsteps was heard as a squad of guards filled the end of the hallway behind him. The scientist turned, with hope filled eyes as the guards trained their guns on gale.

Suddenly they were all slammed back, blood coating the wall as they were then crushed violently. The scientist felt the color drain from his face as he turned back to face Gale, now standing directly over him. He opened his mouth to scream, but was silenced by Gale's hand on his throat. Gale lifted him up into the air, squeezing his hand. He smiled as the man struggled in his grip, trying to pry his fingers away. He went limp as he passed out. Gale snapped his neck and tossed him aside, turning the corner on the end of the hallway.*

*The world flashed white as he was brought back to the present. He drew the sword, a Black and White Bladed souba. He gripped Shard with the force and slammed the blades into him. They sprouted from his chest as he was lifted off the ground. He looked down at his chest and the blades, he had not expected this yet. Gale held him as he twisted the blades and ripped them out his side. The wounds were not enough to kill him, and Gale knew it. He continued to hold him as he decapitated his body, then crushed him with the force. He was reduced to a small ball of flesh and tossed aside. Gale collapsed to the ground, his fatigue taking over. His breathing was labored as he laid there, the sun breaking the horizon of the buildings, covering him in morning light. He felt his consciousness fading as he lay on the cold ground, his souba tumbling from his hand.*
