*Gale opened his eyes, his vision was blurred, and his mind was hazy. Where was he. He forced himself to look around. He was in a room with eight tables. It had no doors or vents, yet it looked like the inside of a ship. He clutched his head in pain. Had he been here before? There was something odd about the room. He looked around again. Nothing had changed, but he couldn't place it. Maybe it was the fact that it was filled with a blue light? No... that wasn't it either... He fell to his knees as a wave of pain overtook him. He gasped from the intensity. He pulled his hand off the floor and placed it on his forehead. It was wet. He pulled his hand away and looked at it. In the light it appeared to be purple. So, that meant it was covered in something red? Blue and red made purple, so it should be right... So what was wet and red? He started shaking as he was racked by pain. He found it hard to breath. He fell over onto the floor with a wet thud. He was now eye level with the floor, his face resting in a cold puddle of red liquid. It was thick and smelled like metal... Suddenly he realized what was wrong as he tried to stand up. He made it to his knees as he looked around the room. It was covered in blood. Not only that, but there were bodies laying in the ground, some of them in pieces. He was so stunned he couldn't even open his mouth to scream. He scanned the room again. No visible exit. He was trapped in a room where thing died. He had to get out. He pulled with his mind, forcefully filling himself with the force. He built it up inside of himself. It caused waves of pain to fill him, but he couldn't stop. He had to get out. Now. He felt the energy reach a point and he released it. In every direction, all at once, everything he had.*
"RRAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
*The wave of force expanded away from him rapidly, pushing the blood, bodies and tables away. It hit the walls of the room, and stopped. He was standing with his arms outstretched as he pushed harder. There was a loud groaning of metal as the room was torn apart. Sheets of durasteel came apart at the weld and flew in all directions. The cap on the room was blasted straight up, thirty feet in the air. He scanned his surroundings as he pulled in more energy, not letting his fatigue slow him. The large durasteel roof came down with a loud metallic bang on the floor behind him, rolling away to his right before falling over. He was in an empty ware house. It was about one hundred meters long, and fifty wide. The roof was about twenty meters high. As the rest of the Durasteel plates came crashing to stops, the room was filled with loud banging. When everything had settled, he scanned the now silent Warehouse. There was a door on the far end, a huge sliding gate. It was ajar about four feet. In the small space, stood a man, his back to Gale. He began the long walk towards him. As he went, he scanned the catwalks and walls, looking for any signs of an ambush. As he approached the mans back, he turned around.*
"It.... Has been... A while..." *He held out a sheathed sword, motioning for gale to take it. He stared coldly at Gale, almost as if he was in a different world. It was how Shard always looked. Gale slowly reached out and grabbed the sheath, waiting for Shard to release it. Shard stared at him for a moment before letting go and turning away, walking out the door. Gale was hit by another wave of pain as he was thrust back into his memories.*
*He lay on the table in the operating room. He had just been injected with Shard's latest experiment. Pain ripped through his body as his cells were being invaded. He let out a primal scream as he arched against his restraints. He pulled on the force in an attempt to relieve his pain. It only intensified as he drew it into himself. He tried to stop, but couldn't. He was forced to pull in more and more. He pulled everything in the room from its place, bolted against the wall, and in towards him. He crushed it all as he tried to get rid of the power he was building up. Suddenly all the pain stopped as he dropped everything he was holding with the force. His vision darkened as his breathing stopped, his muscles relaxing as he felt the life draining from his body.
He woke with a yell as he leaped off of the table, pulling on the force as he flew through the air. He let it out as he punched the observation window, shattering the glass. He landed in the room beyond, and ran straight for the door. He was blocked by a guard in heavy armor. It was stunned by his sudden appearance and couldn't move. This proved a fatal mistake as Gale tackled him, snapping his neck on the way to the floor. He planted his feet against his chest and pushed with the force. The guard slammed into the floor, his bones splintering from the impact. Gale rocketed down the hallway, reaching the branching hallway in seconds. He twisted in midair, his feet slamming into the wall.
He pushed off again as he aimed himself to the left. The hallway was filled with scientists, running towards the sounds of the exploding glass. He slammed into the one closest to him, taking him to the ground. As he landed on top of him, he grabbed his face and slammed it into the floor, using a force blast to add force to the motion. The head of the man was crushed beneath the powerful impact, spraying blood on the walls and floor. He didn't stop, immediately throwing himself at the next one. He landed in front of him, and thrust both of his hands out, slamming into his chest. He pushed with the force again. It seemed to happen in slow motion. The man was knocked back from Gale slamming him, he was pushed back several inches before the force blast ignited in front of him. A blinding light filled the hallway as the blast burned through the man, leaving a large hole in his chest. The man fell to the ground on his back, skidding a few inches before stopping, dead. Everyone had stopped by now and was staring at Gale. Gale stood, arms outstretched, face covered with his messy hair. It remained as such for several seconds, as realization and panic spread through the hall. The test subject had gotten loose. One of the men slammed his hand into the alarm, shattering its glass cover as everyone began to scatter. Gale exploded from his position, like a beast let off the chain. His superior body allowed him to over take the scientists as he rushed on his way. He got along the first one in his path and sweep kicked his legs. From the crouched position, he raised himself, gripping the mans neck and snapping it violently. He didn't let go though. He turned his body, positioning the still rising body over his shoulder. He pulled it forward and down, flinging it down the hallway. He immediately followed it, right behind it. The body impacted another scientist, knocking him to the ground. Gale gripped him with the force, flinging his arm out. The still living scientist flew along the left side of the hallway, slamming into a door that someone had just started walking through. The door slammed, cutting the person who was walking through in half. He was halfway down the hallway now. Only two people remained in front of him. The one farthest away tripped over himself out of fear and fell down, spinning around, getting a full view of the terror he fled. Gale caught the other one only a second later, grabbing him by the shoulders and throwing him into the wall. He grabbed the mans throat and pinned him there. He glared into the mans eyes as he crushed his throat. He flung the body out behind him, slamming it into the other wall. Turning, he walked towards the man who was shivering in fear on the floor. The scientist raised his arm, futilely trying to shield himself from the horror they had created. The thunder of footsteps was heard as a squad of guards filled the end of the hallway behind him. The scientist turned, with hope filled eyes as the guards trained their guns on gale.
Suddenly they were all slammed back, blood coating the wall as they were then crushed violently. The scientist felt the color drain from his face as he turned back to face Gale, now standing directly over him. He opened his mouth to scream, but was silenced by Gale's hand on his throat. Gale lifted him up into the air, squeezing his hand. He smiled as the man struggled in his grip, trying to pry his fingers away. He went limp as he passed out. Gale snapped his neck and tossed him aside, turning the corner on the end of the hallway.*
*The world flashed white as he was brought back to the present. He drew the sword, a Black and White Bladed souba. He gripped Shard with the force and slammed the blades into him. They sprouted from his chest as he was lifted off the ground. He looked down at his chest and the blades, he had not expected this yet. Gale held him as he twisted the blades and ripped them out his side. The wounds were not enough to kill him, and Gale knew it. He continued to hold him as he decapitated his body, then crushed him with the force. He was reduced to a small ball of flesh and tossed aside. Gale collapsed to the ground, his fatigue taking over. His breathing was labored as he laid there, the sun breaking the horizon of the buildings, covering him in morning light. He felt his consciousness fading as he lay on the cold ground, his souba tumbling from his hand.*
