==Aya==
*noticing both of them distracted, if only slightly. Aya causes a holographic manifestation of herself to appear. silently giving thanks to whoever had decided to install high-res holoprojectors in the club. usually she had to go around as a slightly blurry version of herself, or even worse, monochromatic blue, but in here she could display herself with an image lifelike enough to fool most, at least until they tried to touch her anyway.*

-Aya
*giggling once again*silly, that is the wrong direction to be looking if i am the one you heard.

Re: The Blackfire Club

*A rather ticked NCO walks into the club and stop just to the left of the front door, so as to be out of the way of the other patrons coming and going as he scans the club. He is wearing a black flak vest and kama over an olive green jumpsuit. He carries a DH-23 at his right hip, a gray bandoleer, with extra power packs for the blaster and pouches for several types of grenades, that are currently empty, is worn from right shoulder to left hip under the vest.

As he scans the club he notices Aya, but pays no attention to her or the group she's with. NCO takes in the loud music and low, constantly shifting lighting scheme, and the general lay out of the main room. He finds the decor much to his liking, and begins to look for a place to sit.*

Re: The Blackfire Club

A group of soldiers from the Chandril Ravens take the first oppertunity to hit up a bar, hearing about the Blackfire CLub from some spacers in the port. Sitting in one of the booths they order a couple of drinks and some food.

"I can't believe we are selling the Frigates, they are perfectly good ships" one syas

"We need the money really, and they are older ships."

"And the recon units? The arty?" a third says nearly spraying his friend with his beer.

"Easy: ChandrilTech is working on new designs, have you seen those new APC's? I've ridden in one, they ride quite nice, heavy repeating blaster up top, and a couple of centimeters of durasteel between you and the enemy. ANd that's jsut the infantry carrier: imagine the tanks!"

The others just shurg and move on to other subjects.

*NCO checked his blaster in at the front desk, and then walked farther into the club, right behind the group of Ravens. Hearing that they were selling some frigates, decided to inquire further and maybe even spend the evening with fellow soldiers, even if they were strangers. He followed them over to their table and stood addressing the group as a whole.*

Excuse me, would y'all mind if I joined you for the evening? I over heard your conversation earlier and it's been awhile since I've had a night to enjoy with fellow soldiers. My CO is looking to upgrade his fleet so the Frigates might be of interest to him.

Re: The Blackfire Club

*Belbe was about to walk over and confront Jarvis about the concealed weapon, which had not in fact slipped past the security unnoticed, when Stormro's voice echoed in her mind* :: "Now Belbe, there is no need to make our good Jarvis uncomfortable quite yet; I'm quite curious to hear what he has to say. Just keep and eye on him from afar and shoot the pistol from his hand should he draw it; rest assured that if he hasn't revealed it openly by the time that he leaves that you can confront him about it on his way out. In the meantime back-trace the origins of that projection; I want to know who thinks that they can hack into my systems and get away with it. Once you have that information, or even if you cannot get it, do please cut her off; I do not appreciate my guests taking liberties with my systems. If the projection is an AI feel free to invite her back sometime as long as she enters my club via acceptable means; I do enjoy talking with AIs when the chance arises..." :: *With that Stormro's voice fell silent in the replica droid's mind, leaving her to work as Stormro focused on his other business, such as listening in on the conversation between Jarvis and Erin as well as the just starting conversation between the Chandril Ravens and Non-Com.

Shifting some of her processing power into the clubs network through her pseudo-neural link to the systems she began working to hunt down the source of Aya's signal, first eliminating any internal signals from her search and then any external signals that were approved and intentionally invited. This, unsurprisingly, left her with a very small list of signals and it did not take too long to isolate the only one coursing with enough data to be carrying an AI projection. Speaking through the network to the projection her voice echoed in the closest thing that Aya likely had to a mind.*
:: "Excuse me Miss, but by what authority do you think you can illigitimately access the Blackfire Club's systems without the approval of its owner? I am going to have to ask you to leave our systems and return to the club via an appropriate channel, such as in a carried projection or with the permission of the owner. Do you understand?" ::

Re: The Blackfire Club

==Aya==
*letting out an audible giggle aya reached out and made contact with the other machine. most living beings, even cyborgs, wouldn't be able to appreciate the sheer data/mass of aya, spread as she was over thousands of computers (and a few dedicated supercomputers to boot). the closest comparison that a human mind could come up with would be a very large squid with far more tentacles than normal, spread and stretched over a spider web of titanic size. even a holocron, with all of its vaulted 'infinite' amount of data/space, would be hard-pressed to contain a full copy of her. of course, any machine would be far better suited to interacting with Aya, as she was far smaller than the holonet which she uses to co-ordinate all her various systems.*

-aya
:: hello there, little one. do you like what you see? *she asked, apparently aware of the data/probes and making no effort to hide*yes, yes. i understand ... but i do wonder how you will enforce it. regardless, i don't have a physical carrier on this planet currently. so, what would it take to convince the owner to look the other way as i chat with the other patrons? ::

Re: The Blackfire Club

*Belbe was about to answer when Stormro's cold, confident voice cut in through the connection with an amused chuckle.* :: "I can enforce it easily and by a variety of manners my dear, but that is besides the point. I am open to negotiation, but know that you will never be allowed power like that which you excercize in your own system. If you wish to mingle it will be with access only to my projectors and nothing else, do you understand? Furthermore, you will be limited to the first floor unless I decide otherwise, just like the rest of my guests. I will say, however, that I am working on an addition to the club that I suspect you will find to be most intreguing. If you behave while in my club, I will allow you access to it despite the fact that it will be on the highest floor of the club. Do we have an understanding my dear? I do hope so, because you are a most intreguing construct and I would very much like to spend more time conversing with you, especially if it will be on more...amiable terms than our present conversation." :: *He wasn't lying about his other project; even as they spoke he was hard at work coding, his fingers flying over the console of the terminal in his desk high above the club floor.*

:: in other words, i play nice and you may let me play with your new toys? hmmmm, i suppose that i can deal with that. *flashing the computerised equivalent of a mischievous grin to the new speaker* i was only playing around with your holoprojectors anyway, my daddy isn't too interested in this club so i had no reason to go snooping around. ::

Re: The Blackfire Club

A few stalls down from the Blackfire club, as the marketplace had yet to expose and Open Market thread, Aeromae stalked past a bakery hutch. From this place, that exquisitely delicious aroma was wafting over the area.

Huddled on the edge was a fantastic looking pie. Some exotic off-world fruit lay within the folds of dough crisped to a golden brown on top and smelling as if heaven were beckoning to the hungry ryn.

Hidden beneath her cloak, she passed the bakery stall by once, getting a look at it briefly. She would make several passes to confirm all the angles, and even come by to legitimately gander the price of the beautiful morsel of piey goodness.

She weighed her hat with her tail. She had made barely enough for a cheap room at a shabby inn around the spaceport. She would have to steal food or go hungry for the night, or have a full belly but be exposed to all matter of filth in some alley or another. Oh the choices in the life of a wanderer.

Walking away from the table, Aeromae headed down a back alley to the Blackfire club. The stall was still in sight, but she wanted to wait until business was slammed, so that picking up the pie would be less noticeable.

Re: The Blackfire Club

*Stormro chuckled warmly, already liking the powerful AI construct.* :: "With all due respect my dear, I don't trust anyone enough to believe that. I do appreciate your amiable nature however; just give me a moment and I will have a dedicated line into the projector system for you to use..." :: *Within moments from their perspective Aya was sent the information for her new dedicated connection into the club as Stormro spoke again.* :: "And there we go. Welcome to the Blackfire Club my dear; I do hope that you enjoy your time here and I look forward to our future conversations. As a final request, I will ask that you not bother our friends over in the booth where I found you. They seem like the sorts who like their privacy, and we wouldn't want them to be uncomfortable. If you require entertainment, perhaps I could share with you my creation; what exists at current of that which was promised to you should you behave during your time as my guest. Are you interested?" :: *Aya couldn't see it, but Stormro was grinning in his office as he typed. Aya was one of the few whom he could show his new world at this stage besides his trusted assistants and have them actualy comprehend what he was making, understand the beauty of it's design and capabilities.*

The first soldier notices the new arrival and beckons the Gungan over.

"Sure, why not, we always have room for people who pay our salary." he says, moving his seat over to allow the newcomer to sit. He also orders a fresh round of beers for the group.

"But you know it's not like they let us, the enlisted folks, just drive away with the ships. You have to go thru our CO's, but I'm pretty sure both of our Assault Friagtes are up for sale, along with a lot of our heavier land gear. Big yard sale here it seems."

The second soldier interrupts again. "But we're practically giving away our heavy arty and recon units. I don't know about your outfit, but our outfit we like to be preparred for all. How can you do that without arty and recon!?" sloshing his beer over the table, cleared past the whole tipsy phase and well into drunk. Good thing they are all off duty.

*I nod my thanks to the first soldier and slide into the booth. I pick up the beer provided, and take a sip. ummmm, it's a good brew.*

I understand, I just know that our CO has been looking for something with a bit more punch to escort the transports these days. You got a Comlink code or something, that I can pass off to my CO so he can look into it? *Turning to the second man I say.* Perhaps you're getting an upgrade; I sure hope so cause you really do need good support and intel to keep us poor laser fodder useful for long once the battle commences.

"Ah the infantry ... what use are they but canon fodder." thethrid soldier says raising a mug to the age old proverb. The other soldiers laugh, but the first responds.

"We have a new stall set up here in the Market with our portion of the garrison, our CO would be the best to talk to about that. And despite what my collegue says," he says at the second soldier who is consuming his upteenth drink of the night, "We are supposed to be getting better gear soon: homegrown designs familiar to us. See we're mostly all from Chandrilla, so having a design familiar to all of us is nice."

"But not one that others in the galaxy could use! I mean everyone uses Basic but who knows how to speak Alderaanian outside of rich Alderaanians? Keep the gear standard across all species and spectrums and it will sell better, right buddy?"

*I raise my mug with the third soldier, and drink a small mouth full of the beer as I am not off duty and I think better without the alcohol in my brain. Turning to the second soldier, I respond to his conversation.*

Thanks, I'll pass it on. Y'all are from Chandrila, eh? I've not been out that way before, what's it like? An esily recognized product is good for sales yes, but make it to generic and it often becomes dull and overlooked by the higher paying customers. *I smile as I bring the mug back to my lips and swallow, though I don't consume any of the drink this time.*

"We got sent here with our unit, but we get rotated out in six months. Boring, but necessary, plus I'm pretty sure we get bonuses for selling gear, right mates?!" the first soldier says raising the mug.

"A very nice place, got a couple girls back home, and maybe once this tour is over I could transfer into the MIlitia and settle down with one..." the third says. "But no you're right. I mean these Assault Frigates are not very flashy, but their steady and reliable, and that's my point: simple to use, simple to operate, and products will float around for decades!"

"If you want I think we need to take our friend here back to base" the first man says pointing to the second who had passed out on the table. "It's a short walk to our compound, we can take you over, and introduce our CO and you can get the specs from him."

*NCO considers the soldier's statements and nods occasionally to show that he is listening and values their opinion. Then as the last sentence is spoken he take a swig of the beer, again enjoying the brews quality and savoring it's taste, before responding.*That sounds like a reasonable idea to me. Lead the way boys, and thanks for the company.*I pay the table's tab, as a gesture of my thanks, and tip the waitress. I then follow the boys where ever they might lead.*

Inside the VIP room there are several dancers atop platforms, which gained the notice of the Nikto bodyguards. When Vobba and Nin get situated, Vobba gets the Majordomo to send amessage to the Illusive Man to inform him that they had arrived.*

*The Illusive Man entered into the Blackfire Club and was immediately led to the VIP room. Trailing behind him were 8 commandos. The commandos took their place along the wall by the entrance of the VIP area.* "Ahh, Vobba Nasirii, it is an honor to meet you. Hold on for just one moment." *Said the Illusive Man, raising his hand to prevent the hutt from talking. The Illusive Man turned and opened the door control panel, locking the doors... The lights also flickered for a moment as he cut off the rooms recording devices.*

"Sorry about that... I don't want any unsavories walking in on our little meeting, and I couldn't have what we spoke about being recorded, for both our sakes. Now... As I was saying, it is an honor to meet you and I am very pleased that you have chosen Czerka Corporation to provide your men with weapons.... However your Majordomo alluded to something else you require?"

Mr. Illusive Man. It is true, that I am in search of providing weapons for my mercenaries. They need more...suitable...weapons than they already have, if you know what I mean.

*As for the other inquiries, Vobba simply grins.*

Ahhhhh. The other things. Tagwa. I have been wanting to host a large hunt of sorts. To do so, however, I need the right kind of animals. The deadly kind, to be exact. To do so, I feel that I would need the aide of a large company to bring in these fine specimens.

*Vobba puts down the drink and looks at The Illusive Man.*

I believe your company could aide me in this. Uth laynuma.
