The Restaurant & Bar

Re: The Restaurant & Bar

At the mention of "any," planet Sarene shyly asked a question.

"Will you be moving to Korriban, I understand that is fathers home base."

I am not sure...
I had wanted to speak to him on the matter... but had not gotten around to doing so as yet...
Also I wanted something of my own...

* Bestuur raised his glass to his lips and spoke just loud enough for a word to make it around the table. *

Muunilinst?

* He then finished the motion of taking a sip of his drink acting as if nothing was spoken. *

Re: The Restaurant & Bar

If I have enough man power to take it... yes...
Though last I checked Lord Reign presided there... so it'll be complicated...

*Tanith chuckled a bit*

* Bestuur smiled and nodded, lowering his glass to the table once more. He didn't understand what made that planet so important to Tanith, but he understood that it was the case and that it wasn't his business to ask. *

Re: The Restaurant & Bar

Sarene sat listening, it all sounded so familiar. Her father on Korriban, her mother on Muunlist and people trying to fill the gaps and appear to be trusted friends. She was waiting to hear the name she had grown to hate, the name of the man who made her future.

"Perhaps you could take Ziost, with enough man power. Have the two reported sith home worlds ruled by yourself and father, that would certainly give you more credibility as a sith in the galaxy.

Re: The Restaurant & Bar

*The talk of future conquests started to really wet the High Alchemist's appetite, he longed for a field excursion to finally test some of his handywork on live targets, not from a sick macabre need to kill, more of a case of practicality; droids and simulators never fully satisfied the degree of unpredictability real units did.*

Ziost would prove easy to take, there's not much there these days. But is the sentimentality of our origins sufficient reason to commit our forces? What we need from a target is resources to seize.

Re: The Restaurant & Bar

*Although quick to challenge Serene's suggestion, the poiniancy of her idea was not lost on the Zeltron. The mysterious young girl's words almost seemed like she was goading the Empreess but they emmited a feel of 'shatterpointed' prophetic importance.*

Although... Having the Empress sat on the metaphorical throne at Ziost could project a sense of dominance throughout the galaxy. Two key figureheads on the spiritual home's could call to arms the many Sith spread amoungst the galaxy, give them a sense of order perhaps, one banner to fight under.

*Obvious issues with this concept immediately started to enter into Venku's mind:*
Is a unification of the Sith a good thing? It has been tried before and failed dramatically more often than not; and these were in times of less numerous and more talented Sith. The so-called Sith spread accross the galaxy today are weak minded, ill informed and vast. Even if there was a way to unite them under a common presence would One want to? It could be the uniformed initialization of a galaxywide super-race, but more likely it would be the begining of the downfall of the Sith for good.

Build the highest tower with inadequate ferrocrete and one day that tower will collapse from within.

*Another pondering that tugged at the Zeltron was; whether or not the Empresses 'Tanithism' philosophy was now so far removed from the classical Sith ideology that it would prove too hard to reconcile with philosophies of the Korriban Sith. Too unfamiliar with the rest of the galaxy, Venku could only reach his assumptions through the stories he'd heard, he had no idea what was now instructed to young Sith at the accademies - it seemed as though most young warriors he met these days had no official tutaledge at all!*

Re: The Restaurant & Bar

Ziost would be an iconic possesion, I agree.

* Bestuur nodded to Serene. *

The question is it it will attract the right group to our cause. Never did understand the rule of two, or one for that manner. Yes, it creates stronger Sith, but can one, doesn't matter how strong, truly hold his or her own against a hundred? Evaluate the Sith code, it says nothing about personal gain, just about setting yourself free.

Re: The Restaurant & Bar

Then I guess it's a good thing I'm not 100% Sith then...

*Tanith chuckled as she joked. She was one who always conformed to her own rules while also following the opinions of her men, it is what had allowed her to acquire what she had in the past, surpassing Feral and the others who were too busy fighting among themselves*

Ziost.... hmmmm...
Who currently holds that mantle?

Re: The Restaurant & Bar

My records show of no official goverment there at present.
However, i had heard from a minor smuggling ring that a small clandestyne Sith faction settled there perhaps a year ago.... Now what did they call them....? The Second Imperium i think it was.

Interesting... we'll gather more Intel as time progresses then...
Bestuur perhaps you might be up for a little run, in the guise of a merchant wishing to buy products?

*Tanith smiled*

Re: The Restaurant & Bar

*Something floated through the room. A cold feeling that made the hair stand on end. It brushed up, against then across, Tanith before disapating into the air itslef. It left a familiar pulse of energy. Elusive yet distractingly familiar.... Still trying to get hold of his awareness in this form, he was re-visiting everything and everybody he had known in his life. His presence, an ethereal touch on the conciousness of his friends and enemies. Recoiling from Taniths mind, he sought to distance himself slightly before identifying the person*

* Bestuur smiled that lopsided grin that was a characteristic Corellian gesture. *

Don't you mean /smuggle/? I'll have to do some research, see what their primary products are and feign interest in a common good, help me blend into the crowd.

I know you will come up with something great as usual Bestuur...

*Tanith paused as she felt a familiar presence wash over her gently. Before she could have time to identify the feeling, it disappeared*

Re: The Restaurant & Bar

I think you give me too much credit. Just let me know when you want me to begin.

* Bestuur took a slightly larger swallow of his drink before looking back at the other two at the table. It was always fun talking and plotting to him. *

Re: The Restaurant & Bar

Sarene sat quietly listening to the talk of the second imperium, she had heard of them in her time but not very much. All she knew was that they followed the rule of one and the leader was someone called something Sentris, it did not matter at this point the second imperium had not made their presence known in this galaxy so it was obvious to her that they were not a threat.

"Could I possibly get a ship of my own? At present I am using a borrowed ship from master windu."

Changing the subject like this was one of the ways she had been trained to help keep people unaware of her intellect, if someone only sees a girl interested in shopping and fast ships they don't expect her to be lethal.

Perhaps... what sort of ship were you looking at getting?

*Tanith silently wondered why Windu had not given the girl a ship of her own*

* Bestuur's face lit up at the mention of going shopping for a starship. This was a topic of interest for him as he enjoyed keeping up to date with the various models. But he kept his opinions to himself until he found out more about what she was looking for. *

*Tanith did not miss Bestuur's enthusiasm, in truth, she had planned on asking him to help Serene look for something as after Archangel, Bestuur was the one she went to for such advice*

OOC: Lol it's so funny, Tanith was going to ask Bestuur to help...
