Gamorr was the agrarian homeworld of the pig-faced Gamorreans, located in the Opoku system of the Outer Rim.

Its varied terrain ranged from frozen tundra to deep forests, and was considered quite pleasant by off-worlders. Nevertheless, tourism was highly discouraged to Gamorr because of the vicious lifestyle of ferocious, bloody warfare constantly being waged between rival Gamorrean clans.

Prominent mushrooms were also found on Gamorr, as were native coolsap trees.

Gamorr was first visited thousands of years prior by the space-faring Rakatan Civilization who would hold it for almost five thousand years. Eventually, the Gamorreans spread out from the galaxy, earning a reputation as being among the most violent and ferocious mercenaries in the galaxy, and many factions used that to their advantage. During the Great Sith War the combined armies of Krath and Sith bolstered their ranks by using thousands of Gamorrean mercenaries to serve as cannon fodder against the Republic forces. During the war Gamorr was considered to be under Sith occupation. When the Galactic Republic drove the Sith forces away, the world returned to a state of primitive isolation. Both Mandalorians during the Mandalorian Wars and Sith Empire during the Jedi Civil War avoided the planet, but during the Dark Wars several Sith warlords pressed Gamorrean mercenaries into their service, and the planet changed hands among nearly a dozen Sith warlords during that time.

Around 1,002 BBY, the Brotherhood of Darkness operated a Sith academy on the world that specialized in the training of Sith Warriors and Marauders. Under the Galactic Empire, it was the site of a NAMIS disaster.

Though ignored by the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars, Gamorr was given special attention by the CIS. Thousands of Gamorreans, less concerned with galactic politics and more interested in a good fight, were taken offworld by the Separatists and employed as mercenaries. The Gamorreans rarely served the Separatists with distinction, and they were instead employed for dangerous frontal assaults. As a result, the survival rate for Gamorrean mercenaries working for the Confederacy was less than 8 percent.

The Hutts, upset with the Confederacy's claim on so many Gamorreans, petition the Separatists in an attempt to preserve their own hold on the planet's natives. The Trade Federation negotiated a finder's fee, paying a bounty to the Hutts for each Gamorrean that the Confederacy hired in the course of conflict. Although this resulted in only a minimal profit for the Hutts, it eased their concerns over the perceived Separatist encroachment on a labor force that was largely considered theirs.

Though the war never came to Gamorr's surface, a number of small space battles were occur in neighboring star systems. Separatists established a single base on Gamorr's moon, but by the end of the war, it was completely abandoned and overtaken by pirates.
Gamorr was also a site for podracing, the events were made safe by the Hutts. One podracing event was located in the ruins of the ancient Gamorrean Carnuss Gorguul's citadel.

Though the Gamorreans did not develop space travel, they somehow established a colony on nearby Pzob. However, the planet was never united under a single government, and remained unaligned after the fall of the Empire.

Chazwa

Image

*Chazwa was a cold planet in the Chazwa system of the Orus Sector, located in the Inner Rim. Its location along a popular freighter traffic route made it an ideal shipping center for all sorts of goods. As such, heavy freighter traffic within the system was not an uncommon sight. However, the abundance of valuable merchandise moving through the system lended itself to strong influence by smugglers.*

Section A
With the Recent MIA listing posted upon the Former leader of Chazwa, Albon Drake, the New Republic has welcomed this bright star within the inner rim into it’s wide open arms, after weeks were spent upon Search and Rescue missions to find the MDC Leader, the people eventually were desperate to have another strong Leader protect them from the approaching darkness that seemed to overtake the galaxy, one planet at a time.

As the New Republic was granted control, not one moment was wasted as the Chazwa Security Forces were dispatched to deal with the rising criminal threats in the Capital City and the smaller communities around the World. Within a Month of New Republic Control the levels of crime dropped incredibly low, almost becoming nonexistent. And soon, the New Republic set its eyes upon the failing economy, hoping to lift this world out of its darkness and make it a galactic contender for Mined Metals and other Processed goods and information around the Heroic Republic.*

Important Landmarks:

Iritsa

Iritsa was the Capital City located on Chazwa, a developed and sparsely populated planet in the inner rim. Located within the city was the Regulated Red Light District, nestled between the Central Business District and the Starport. Also located next to the starport was an Industrial Belt that ran though the city, with a number of suburbs around its outskirts. These were well spaced and included the low-income residential area known as Albon’s Virtue Memorial Garden, which neighbored Old Town, and, arranged clockwise from there, the Lysander, Belmont, and Fennels Habitation Sections. These sections were linked by tree lined avenues, with Pubtrans flitters and rental swoops available in the city for transport. Located in the middle of the City was the Kudak Citadel, where the Government under the New Republic held sway, and where a large barracks was also located to ensure protection of the city they were surrounded by.

Kudak Citadel

Once the Seat of power on Chazwa, the Citadel is now a vast market rich with traders and merchants. It is a Citadel built with Duracrete and Transparisteel, making it a makeshift fortress if need be. Within the defense wall encircled citadel is an Atrium where the former leaders of the planet can discuss, chat, and relax from the daily pressures demanded by their job, now serves as the center point of the Citadel and stronghold should there be an attack. Many other locations as well are located within such as the dormitory section that has been converted into apartments and hotels for those that are residing or visiting the Citadel. To get into the Citadel one must go through the proper security passing through either the Front gates made of Durasteel where weapons are to be checked and stored, or if coming in by Air, they must pass through an automated Checkstop and then may land within the landing zone big enough to fit three Medium Freighters or six ships of smaller design.

Anoth

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Anoth

Astrographical:
Region: Wild Space
System: Anoth system
Suns: 1
Orbital position: 3rd
Grid coordinates: J-20
Rotation period: 14 standard hours
Orbital period: 286 local days

Physical:
Class: Planetary fragment
Atmosphere: Type III (breath mask required)
Climate: Frigid
Gravity: Light
Primary terrain: Barren

Societal:
Native species: Anothian living crystal
Immigrated species
Primary language(s): Galactic Basic Standard
Population: 3-150

Anoth was a planet located in Wild Space. The world was shattered at some point during an unknown cataclysm, but remained largely together due to its gravitational pull.

Discovered following the Ruusan Reformation of the Galactic Republic, Anoth was a shattered world, broken into three large chunks during an unknown cataclysm in its past. Having once hosted a Human population, the world had a breathable atmosphere, though it was heavily polluted by modern times and its populace non-existent.

Early in the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems fought the Republic on the planet's habitable portion and defeated the galactic government. Falling out of memory and records, Anoth was not located on any star-charts during the Galactic Civil War. Rediscovered in 11 ABY by Luke Skywalker and Admiral Ackbar of the New Republic, they established a fortress fit to protect the youngest child of Han and Leia Solo, Anakin. Stationed there with his protector, Winter Retrac, the fortress was eventually discovered by the persistent and sinister Ambassador Furgan who attempted to capture the Force-sensitive boy. Using MT-ATs to scale the mountainous geography near the fortress, Furgan infiltrated the bastion and kidnap the boy. Furgan did not make it out of the complex before Solo was rescued. The Ambassador would die in his attempted flight from the world.

For several years, the fortress was left abandoned, under close scrutiny by the Republic, which monitored any news on Anoth's location. Once assured that it remained unknown to the great galactic population, the fortress was refurbished as a private retreat for the Solo's, who used it during the Almanian Uprising, as a safe house for her children once more.

Left alone during the Yuuzhan Vong War and Second Galactic Civil War, the world was enveloped in Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire as of 137 ABY.

Ithor

*Ithor was the fourth planet located in Ottega system of the Mid Rim. One of the oldest member of the Galactic Republic, it was a planet full of lush life, and the planet's surface had not a touch of civilization on it. The Ithorians themselves, otherwise known as "Hammerheads," built great floating cities that did not harm the surface, which they considered to be sacred. Entry upon the surface was forbidden, unless one stayed there permanently. Some Ithorians such as the Oracle were compelled to go down to the planet surface, however, as they "heard the call" of Mother Jungle, the Ithorian religion's personification of Ithor's world-spanning jungle. The surface of the planet of Ithor played host to numerous plants, including the bafforr tree, which possessed telepathic capabilities. The planet contained andurite stone, and every three Ithorian years was the center of the Time of Meeting. The planet had many moons in its night sky.*

Wookieepedia Entry: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Ithor

IC Sympathy tends towards: Lightsiders and nuetral characters who will follow Ithor's strict peace laws. Jedi and others who follow the philosophies of Ithorian Pacifism. Security personnel to protect the planet. Tourists to tour the natural beauty of the planet. And criminals who wish to work for the Illusive Man...

Type of RP: All forms of RP are welcome from pre-planned SLs to spontaneous RP.

Specific Scenarios: Crime, war with the Yuuzhan Vong, corruption, political manipulation, The Illusive Man's stories.

What to expect as a new RP arrival wanting to roleplay here: A warm greeting from the Illusive Man or his associates

Major Factions RPing here: The Illusive Man and his associates

Orbital Defenses: 4 Acclamator II Class Assault ships, 8 Arquitens Light Cruisers, 40 V-19 Torrent Starfighters

Tafanda Bay Defenses: 12,800 Operatives

Re: Update a Planet Guide Entry Here

Subject: Read this Planet's entry in the Traveler's Guide

The Traveler's Guide wrote:Garqi

*Garqi was an agriworld and the sector capital of Tadrin Sector, in the Outer Rim Territories. Natural elements in Garqi's crust gave the native plant life a purple coloration. From space, the planet appeared a beautiful, hypnotic violet color. It was the source of the beans used to make caf.*

IC Sympathy tends towards: Sinistra and Dark Tide

Type of RP you are most likely to find here:
Planned Storylines
Reactive RP or 'spur of the moment' RP
Training
Medical RP
battles/skirmishes

What to expect as a new RP arrival wanting to write here:

Visiting writers welcome
New players to the Universe welcome
To join the story here: Enter and exit through Orbit, do not wait for a clearance post, just NPC it.
You will not receive an official ooc welcome PM to the planet's RP
OOC chat on the boards is restricted, please keep it in PM's or on the OOC board.
If you wish to invade, or play a military type RP, please PM Sinistra FIRST.

Planetary Defense:

Additional troops to the base:
AT-APs = 15
Elite = 50
Shocktroops = 458,000 (variable weapons load out. Snipers, Rocket Launchers, etc.)
1 W-165 Planetary Turbolaser
2-V-150 Plantary Ion Cannon

*The Shocktroops are spread out on the planet as a police force, and in small garrisons of 2000. The base is protected by a force of 20 000 with many smaller garrisons in its vicinity counting 20 000 more troops.
The AT-APs are at the base with half of them always out in the planet dealing with any problems the civilians may have, and try to act as judges, or governors for settlements.
The Planetary defense cannons are placed in a triangle around the base, 200m from the garrison, and about 400m from each other. Turbo -laser pointing at north, being the "top" of the triangle.
The Garrison Base has a streaming comm connection with The Stark and the HQ of Dark Tide.*

Ok folks, LAN has acquired Garqi with permission from Dark Tide. This is an update of what the Traveler's guide will be, reflecting our holding the planet. A lot is going to change, and for that I apologize. So, without further ado, here is the update.

Garqi

*Garqi was an agriworld, and the sector capital of Tadrin Sector, in the Outer Rim Territories. Natural elements in Garqi's crust gave the native plant life a purple coloration. From space, the planet appeared a beautiful, hypnotic violet color. It was the source of the beans used to make caf.*

IC sympathy leans toward L'Ange Noire, along with the various Jedi and lightsided factions.

Type of RP you are most likely to find on Garqi includes, but is not limited to:

-Planned Storylines
-Spontaneous, spur of the moment RP
-Medical RP, linked to the Red Dawn Medical Complex
-Agriculture/Agribusiness *Caf production*
-Training

We are happy to entertain any ideas someone might have, we just ask that if you wish to take a larger part in Garqi's storyline, whether friendly or not, you give the courtesy of a message on the OOC board.

What to expect as a new arrival on Garqi:

-Players both new and veteran are welcome here.
-OOC is highly discouraged on our boards here. Please use the OOC board for anything other than RP. Any questions or comments may be left on the OOC board, or by PM to any of the writers on-planet. They will assist you in any way they can! Thank you for understanding.:)
-As we are not a combat world, we would appreciate at -least- 48 hours notice before an invasion. This is merely to ensure we can collaborate with the player(s) about their ideas, and make it a far more enjoyable RP all around.
-Players entering Garqi's orbit in anything non-combat, or the like can NPC clearance to go groundside.

Planetary Defenses

-While combat and full-scale war are not what we seek, we -do- still have a modest defense force. Garqi is also protected as a sister world to Honoghr, and is currently under the control of the L'Ange Noire. LAN will send military assistance if needed. As the defenses may change, please review the Planetary Defenses Board if this section applies to you.

Re: Opt in to the Guide here

OOC: Instead of working through the updated entry thread, I'm coming to this one because the old TG entry needs to be completely scrapped. Also, whatever you do, don't scan it. Please, for the love of all things holy, ignore the pretty little threads.

Commenor

A trading outpost and spaceport, Commenor was considered as prestigious as the Core planets. It was known for its chrysopaz gemstones and local brandy. It joined the Galactic Republic in 22,000 BBY.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Commenor

IC Sympathy- Neutral. All are welcome, and none are more welcome than others.

Type of RP-
Any and all. Think of it as sort of a "Place where Anything Goes."
We're not adverse to the idea of folks running closed or semi-closed SLs here, but not to the point where it starts to kriff up normal RP.

Suggested Rule-
Don't be a wookiee OOC. If done right, this planet has the potential to be really interesting, but OOC kriff will not help.

What to expect as a new RP arrival wanting to write here-
New players are not only welcome but encouraged.
To join the story: Standard procedure is to pop into Open Orbit and play things out from there. If you have something else in mind, say so on the OOC boards first so you don't give anyone a scare.
There will be no official welcome PM, but if you pop and I don't recognize your name I'll say hello and offer assistance.
Keep OOC chat where it belongs.

Re: Update a Planet Guide Entry Here

Long overdue (it was Corr's job, so his fault). Please update the TG for Algara II to the following;

Algara II Information

*Algara II is the homeworld of the Xan and is orbited by one moon, Tallakron. It is a temperate planet characterized by forests, plains, and mountains.*

IC Sympathies towards: Mandalorian, however all are welcome.

Type of RP you are most likely to find here: Both spontaneous and closed RP focusing on character development, political RP and having fun.

What to expect as a new RP arrival wanting to write here: Unless you are attempting hostile actions there is no need to request permission to land, please feel free to carry on to the surface to start writing. If you are seeking to join an existing RP already in progress please contact those involved first.

Algara II is currently under the protection of Clan Vhett, and any wishes to start hostile actions should start with a PM to the Clan to let them know of your intentions.

As the planet is under an outside forces control the current situation is RP’d as a Mandalorian presence as security , however there is a Xan government that is currently based in the Capital City of Algarine which deals with everyday issues for the planet.

RP of all kinds is welcomed on Algara II. We expect RPers to remain respectful to others that may also be RPing on the planet. Please keep OOC on the boards to a minimum, we favour the use of PM's and the OOC board to communicate.

Pzob was a planet in the Herios sector of the Outer Rim Territories, settled by Gamorreans from the world of Gamorr a long period of time prior to the Battle of Yavin. The settlers, organized into various clans, constantly waged war on each other. All other concerns were secondary to the fighting, and as a result Pzob's inhabitants had a nearly non-existent relationship with advanced technology. The planet was covered in dark, dense forests with tall trees, an environment that greatly appealed to the colonists. Pzob's remote location, combined with the relative primitiveness of its inhabitants, led to it being considered a backwater world. However, this also contributed to the planet going untouched by all major galactic conflicts.
The Galactic Empire established a secret military base on Pzob in 18 BBY, intending to use the troops stationed there to man the Eye of Palpatine, an enormous warship. However, the ship was sabotaged by Jedi, and the stormtroopers on Pzob were left to their own devices. Nearly all of them were eventually killed in either internal fighting, or in Gamorrean attacks. When the Eye of Palpatine was re-activated in 12 ABY, several of the Gamorrean colonists—along with the sole surviving Imperial soldier—were captured by the ship's automated security systems.

"Only after I was living in the forest on Pzob I realized how much I loved it, how much I'd missed the woods and the trees of Chandrila."
―Triv Pothman, reminiscing about his homeworld

Pzob, located in the K749 system of the Herios sector] in the south-eastern Outer Rim Territories, was a remote world, far from most hyperlanes. It was covered in thick forests of tall trees with leathery leaves, somewhat reminiscent of the rainforests of the planet Ithor. Most of the vegetation on the planet was dark blue-green, and the light from Pzob's sun bathed the environment in a golden hue. The planet's climate was temperate, and the atmosphere was breathable for both Gamorreans and Humans.
Between 52 and 19 BBY, the area of space containing Pzob was considered to be part of Hutt Space. Apart from the presence of a Galactic Empire base during the Imperial Period, no major galactic power had anything to do with Pzob. The remoteness of the Gamorrean colony led to it—at times—being cited as an example of a backwater world, out of touch with the rest of the galactic community.

"The Gamorreans haven't stopped fighting each other long enough to set up a technological base of any kind on any planet where they've settled."
―Luke Skywalker

The Galactic Republic discovered the world between 5,000 and 3,000 BBY, and assigned it the Galactic Registry number 011-733-800-022. Pzob was settled by Gamorreans from the nearby planet Gamorr generations prior to 18 BBY. This was considered unusual, as Gamorreans were not traditionally a colonizing species, nor were they renowned for their expertise in manufacturing advanced starships. The settlers organized themselves into clans, and started waging war on each other. The constant feuding had an adverse effect on the technological development of the settlers, which meant that advanced technology was not commonplace on Pzob. The planet was rarely visited, with the last official report on Pzob being filed some time prior to 38 BBY.
In 18 BBY, the Galactic Empire established a temporary military base on Pzob with a crew of forty-five stormtroopers, not far from the territories of the Gamorrean Gakfedd and Klagg clans. This was part of a series of secret bases set up to eventually man the Eye of Palpatine, an enormous battleship commissioned by Galactic Emperor Palpatine. Relations between the stormtroopers and the Gamorrean clans were peaceful at first, with the Imperial soldiers welcome to visit native pubs. Before long, however, the warlike nature of the local Gamorreans prompted them to field a series of skirmishes against the stormtrooper base.
As the wait for the Eye of Palpatine grew longer and ammunition ran low, the stormtroopers were all killed by either Gamorreans or through internal fighting. The only exception was Triv Pothman, who was captured by the Gakfedd clan. He served that tribe for two years, followed by a year of servitude to the Klagg clan, but eventually escaped and took to living in the ruins of the stormtrooper base.
The Eye of Palpatine did not arrive until 12 ABY, having been halted for several years by Jedi interference. However, the Imperial sympathizer Irek Ismaren was able to re-activate the ship, prompting it to continue its original programming. This included picking up all of its contingents of stormtroopers on various Outer Rim worlds, which included Pzob. Arriving on the planet, the Eye of Palpatine was assaulted by Gamorreans, which caused it to activate security measures, capturing Pothman, members of the Gakfedd and Klagg clans, as well as the Jedi Luke Skywalker who was present on the planet to investigate a disturbance in the Force. The large ship was destroyed shortly afterward, above the planet Belsavis.

Gamorreans were a sentient species of porcine humanoids, known for their cultural focus on battle. The green-skinned species sported prominent horns and tusks, and was organized in strict matriarchal societies.
Pzob was the sole colony of the Gamorrean homeworld of Gamorr. The thick forests were of particular appeal to the species. The settlers arrived several generations prior to the start of the Imperial Period, and soon started feuding amongst each other. Two prominent factions were the rival Gakfedd and Klagg clans. Warfare was a constant in the Gamorrean settlers' culture, and other concerns, such as technological development, were deemed to be less important. This focus on the clan war led to a very technologically simple society, which meant that droids were not welcome in the Gamorrean settlements.

The feathered lizard, a small turquoise reptile, was native to Pzob. Also present was a species of forest-dwelling bipeds roughly the height of an adult Human knee.

The Galactic Empire's military base was located particularly close to the Klagg clan's village, but also in proximity to the settlement of the Gakfedd clan. A location of some importance was the Pzob Forest Battle Yard, an arena-like structure where Gamorrean fighters could duel.

Re: Update a Planet Guide Entry Here

Ok guys and dolls, as promised, here is the TG update for Honoghr. Any issues, comments, or questions, please PM myself or Ice. Thank you!

OLD ENTRY

Subject: Read this planet's entry in the Traveler's Guide

Honoghr

RP Status: Active
Badge Status: Platinum
Planetary Traffic Light: Green
Current Active Resident Writers: 11
Activity Level: High (Log in times and responses may vary but most posts or PM's are responded to in 24-48 hours.)

Wookiepedia Link:

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Honoghr

Basic Information:

The planet was once part of the Infinite Empire 30,000 BBY. The Rakata constructed a temple which remained sacred to the Noghri long after the Empire's collapse.

During the New Sith Wars, there was a Sith Academy there, that specialized in training Sith Warriors and Marauders.

Certain events on Honoghr left the planet barren and devastated, as can be read in the included link.

Image

Current Events and Major Characters:

-Adieumus Matango is the Prince of, and Supreme Commander on Honoghr.
-Honoghr currently has a Jedi Academy that we are looking for RPers to use. Notify Ice or Adieumus if you wish to RP there.

-After Nadia Matrineou stepped down as the one in charge of the Red Dawn Medical Complex, Adieumus has passed its care into the hands of Dr. Alisha Mercotti, and she is in charge of the cutting edge facility that has been built in Nystao. . Anyone looking to take part in these places in a more permanent role, working with Alisha, let her know, or any of the L'Angele Noir leadership.

Image

-Events on Honoghr include the rebuilding of the destroyed flora and fauna. The hybrid grasses have been eradicated, and the original plants have been reseeded. Trees have begun to grow again, and the atomosphere has returned to its normal state, due to the efforts of the scientists stationed on Honoghr.

Image

-The city of Nystao has grown as of late. Come and visit the Bubble and Squeak cantina, or our excellent medical facilities at the Red Dawn Medical Complex. The Grand Dukha has also recently been renovated, and most of it is now open to the public. The Water Gardens were expanded, and also opened to the public. Angel Beach also has been opened to vacationing royalty, or the average joe. The Rakatan Temple also has recently undergone renovation, and restoration, if you care to come study under the Rakatan. The Jedi Academy also welcomes new members for training.

Image

-Honoghr Non-lethal Arms Corporation has set up shop, and is currently testing new weaponry. These various weapon systems and armor could possibly be considered among the best in the galaxy.

Image

-HNAC is also venturing into further cybernetics production, and limb replacement. With the instating of Nadia Matrineou as lead scientist, before her departure, major advancements in the world of limb replacement have been made. From the use of carbon nanotube technology, to the ingenious design of Duraskin(TM), they can fit you up with whatever you need.

Image

-Honoghr shipyards are now open, and producing Fondor, and Kothlis products, as well as providing 'quiet' repair facilities. Talk to Floppy the Wabbit, or Adieumus if you need repairs, or wish to order new ships, or fleets. They will be happy to help you

Player Arrivals:

If you wish to come to Honoghr, please, enter through the Open Orbit thread. Single fighters, and small craft may land in Nystao without clearance, as long as they have previous permission from LAN, or are there for non-aggressive reasons. New RPers, Fleets, and larger ships, please contact ground or orbital control. They will tell you where it is most plausible for you to land in any other circumstance. If you wish to settle, you are more than welcome. L'Angele Noir faction members have permanent clearances, and do not need the ground control clearances. We ask that any aggressors recognize that there are normally several fleets in orbit, and not to just drop to the surface without at least acknowledging how they slipped through the fleets, at least a post or two. Sorry to be rude but we do have excellent defenses. We encourage good, solid RP, and expect that from those that wish to attack. Aggressors, expect to be engaged, if detected.

-Non-canon, patented tech is welcome on Honoghr, as we are a tech planet. We also can, if you wish, offer 'Holobattles' for fleets. These will be closed RP, and will not affect the current timeline on Honoghr. Just ask Adieumus Matango, and he can set up a board for your fight. These holobattles occur, and everything is the same as a normal fleet battle, except that no ships are destroyed. This allows new players, or those looking for a brushing up, to hone their skills. The Traveler's Guide entry, and all other Natural Laws in the absence of what is written here, is in effect at all times, as with any fight here on Honoghr.

Roleplay and Storyline Preferred:

The main characters on Honoghr have spoken and agreed on the following:
-As Honoghr has become primarily a medical and refugee planet, we would appreciate no attacks without PROPER provocation. 'Im a Sith, its in my nature' is NOT a good reason to attack. We are neutral, and therefore give no reason to attack us. Not to say we won't entertain a battle, but we would prefer not, as our RP lends itself to non-combat RP on the planet.
-Open RP is welcome, with the player's knowledge that hostile actions will be dealt with accordingly.
-Private RP is welcome, but the major characters may or may not participate.
-Closed RP is possible, if first discussed with at least one of the main players on-planet.
-We would appreciate at least 48 hours OOC notice if you intend on attacking. Not so much as a warning, as that would not be proper, but just so we can offer the best RP possible. If you aren't attacking, no notice is needed. Just come, and have fun.
-If a storyline is in progress, and it interests you, please, PM one or more of the participants, and see if you can get in on it. The more the merrier! We will try to fit you in somewhere, somehow.

The types of storylines we wish to encourage:

-Spontaneous SL is always welcome; your arrival on the planet will trigger a landing sequence, after which the plot may develop in any way.
-Planned SL is welcome, as long as the main characters are informed ahead of time, and it is agreed upon.
-Scripted SL is not our preference, but if we are asked via PM and agree to it, we will participate.
-Medical RP is always welcome, and encouraged.
We believed in the value of OOC planning and collaboration, either on a messenger service (MSN,Yahoo, AIM etc.) or via JvS PM. Help us help you, and we'll all enjoy the experience that much more. In that interest, we have a few simple requests to help keep things enjoyable for all parties.

Rules Of Engagement:

*We would ask that you please contact Adieumus Matango, Floppy the Wabbit, or Ice Matango before attacking the planet in order to plan out certain aspects of the battle, such as when it will take place.

*Because of the stories our writers have created on Honoghr, we desire greatly not to lose the planet permanently to anyone because of all the hard work everyone has put into the planet itself and their character's history with it.

*Finally...Please do not launch a hostile attack unless you have an IC justification for such actions. As previously stated, we are a medical planet, and give very very little reason for an attack. A good reason is -not- 'because I am evil'.

*Finally, we are very adamant about our rules and regulations. Our TG entry are the guidelines of the planet. If you do not wish to abide by them, please, move on to another planet. We have these guidelines for a reason...to keep the RP on the planet flowing well, and keep the complaints to a minimum. We have our reasons for having this set up, so please, again, if you are not willing to abide by these guidelines, it is not the type of RP we support.

Miscellaneous Info:

-Honoghr's team will try to accommodate most rp's as long as the main players on the planet are first notified via PM. We may or may not participate, but we try to be as accommodating as possible. Those who will mind their own matters on Honoghr are certainly welcome, but players wishing to take a larger role in Honoghr's leadership, or start a business, or the like, should PM one of the major players here.

NO OOC OF ANY KIND ON THE BOARDS!! We apologize for making this so bold, but it clutters the boards, and messes up the flow of the story. We use PM and the OOC debate board provided to settle disputes, or have questions answered. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

We do not have a true alignment on Honoghr, and all are welcome. The leadership is lightside in nature. We are, however, neutral here. Anyone who wishes to come by and rp are encouraged to do so. Antagonists are also welcome from an OOC perspective, but will recognize that IC we will be trying our best to eradicate them, using all necessary means.

Upon your arrival on Honoghr, you will be notified in Open Orbit, and welcomed to Honoghr IC.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to message Adieumus Matango, Ice Matango, Floppy the Wabbit, or any other of the main players in either L'Angele Noir, or Honoghr.

Welcome, and enjoy your stay!!

Wookieepedia Excerpt-Honoghr was once part of the Infinite Empire 30,000 BBY.

Image

Image
-Honoghr was originally run by the New Republic, then ceded to Adieumus Matango. Since then, the planet has undergone -many- changes. Early efforts to restore the damage done by the THX-1138 disaster restored much of the original flora and fauna of Honoghr, and it continues to get closer to the original tropical jungle paradise it once was.

-Many battles and wars have been fought on Honoghr since Adieumus acquired it. The L'Ange Noire team managed to hold on against foes such as Dark Tide, and the Warriors of the Iron Fists. While many lives were lost in the attacks by those factions, and others, along with heavy damage, the spirit of the people of Honoghr allowed them to come back each and every time. The city of Nystao, expansive, and beautiful, has grown larger after each time it was damaged by the cowardly attacks.

-There is much that has happened, but so much more to come. If you wish to be a part of the story, by all means, PM Adieumus or Ice Matango, or any other of the major personalities that are on planet. They will be happy to direct you further.

Image
-Honoghr is predominantly Jedi and/or Lighsided in nature, and the RP here reflects this. The major personalities that frequent our boards are either lightsided, friendly to lightsiders, or at the very least neutral. If you are a darkside-inclined character, or otherwise evilly-inclined, know that we will do our best to stop you.
-Honoghr's RPers range from warriors, to doctors, to students and merchants. We encourage any kind of RP, and have much to choose from as far as locations. We merely ask that if you wish to play a larger part in the RP of these locations that you give the courtesy of a message to the ones you wish to interact with.

Image
New arrivals to the planet will be greeted IC in orbit, or groundside. Ships that are unarmed, or pose no threat *I.E. new arrivals to the Jedi Academy, or RDMC* are cleared to land. Military craft, friendly or no, should notify Honoghr Orbital Command upon entering Honoghr space. We encourage any lightsider or 'good guy' types to come and enjoy the myriad of RP that seems to frequent our boards.

Image
Honoghr leans more toward peaceful and medical RP. However, we are willing to entertain battle RP, both small and large scale. Our writing leans toward more story-based role play, though, and the planet is important to that. We would -very- much prefer not to lose the planet permanently, as we have worked very hard to get Honoghr to where it is today.

L'Ange Noire is a lightsided/Jedi-oriented faction. Our RP reflects this. Darksiders and evildoers are welcome on the planet, of course, but if we see you causing issues, blowing things up, or just committing violent acts, know that we will do our best to stop you and/or cause your character harm, so keep that in mind.

No OOC of any kind on the boards, unless it is to direct someone to another portion of the RP you are currently in. Yes. This is in very bold letters. We strive to keep our boards clear of clutter, and OOC chatter on them will cause them to look messy, and disorganized. We have provided a board for OOC planning and dispute resolution. We also have a faction-oriented OOC topic as well for LAN members. These are there for any OOC issues anyone may have, as well as the private message system, or even chat. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Image
The main planetary security force, headed up by Altus Dux and Zik K. Kine, is known as LANsec. These seasoned, well-trained troopers are the main police force, secret service, and 'national security' type agency. They are equipped with some of the latest technology, and are trained to handle most any planetary emergency. They are the ones you call if you need IC help on Honoghr. Quick Response Delta, the SpecOps military group first designed by LAN, is under the control of the LANsec department.

Image
The Jedi Temple, a fixture on Honoghr for quite some time. Training, instruction, along with learning the ways of Ashla and the light are paramount here. Students from all over the galaxy come to learn here, as well as scholars seeking enlightenment in the expansive archives. History has seen the Jedi Temple destroyed or heavily damaged on several occasions, but has risen from the ashes each time.

Jedi seeking guidance in the force should make this their destination.

Image
The Red Dawn Medical Complex is a high tech, state of the art medical facility that offers a wide variety of treatment for most ailments in the galaxy. People from all over the galaxy, from all alignments, have been treated with caring and respect by the fully capable, highly trained medical staff.

Among some of it's most renowned achievements is the cloning facility within the the RDMC itself. In this wing of the medical center, people can have ~individual~ personal clones grown to suit their needs. Another aspect of the cloning wing is that it is also possible to have individual limbs, organs, and/or other body parts cloned/regrown in this facility as the need arises for a client. The staff of the cloning wing pride themselves on working with only the best equipment available in the process of clone generation. They, however, do not generate clone armies but instead concentrate on individual clients needs/wants.

RDMC also runs a small offshoot clinic, the Nystao Medical Clinic, in downtown Nystao for less traumatic cases and walk-in patients. The doctors of the RDMC routinely rotate their shifts to accommodate the needs of this smaller facility. Patients in need of urgent medical care are assessed here, then sent to the RDMC if necessary. This facility is capable of everything, except cloning, that the RDMC is only on a much smaller scale.

The RDMC staff includes:
*Dr. Alisha Mercotti - RDMC Admins., MD, Genetics, Cloner
*Dr. Jena Shaewe - MD, Genetics, Cloner
*Dr. Ares Solaris - MD, Cardiology
*Dr. Ryan Solaris - MD, Neurology
*Dr. Aubrie Antin - MD, General Practitioner
*Dr. Jarek Weyland - MD, Trauma & Plastic/Reconstructive surgery
*Ice Matango - Assistant Admins.
*Michelle Haalia - Assistant Admins.

NOTE: All doctors at the RDMC are qualified to perform ~emergency~ surgeries, scans, blood/tissue tests, etc.

Another highly touted aspect of the RDMC is it's progression in the cybernetics field. Working in conjunction with Honoghr Non-Lethal Arms Corporation - (HNAC), RDMC has a wide variety of cybernetic replacement ~body~ parts, for those who wish, or need, to have them. Dr Sven Q. Bismarck - (MD, PHD, DDS, NPC, DoC), is the head of HNAC, and along with his highly trained staff, they can repair/replace nearly any body part. From a new set of eyes and/or ears, to multiple limb replacement....if you need or want it, they can do it.

Anyone wishing to take part in these places in a more permanent role, or just writing with one of the doctors, please just drop any one of them a PM and let them know.

Image
-Honoghr Non-Lethal Arms Corporation is the Galaxy's premier cybernetics design and construction facility. From repairing a finger, to a full-on skeletal replacement with the advanced CNT/phrik material, they can fix you up. Dr. Sven Q. Bismarck, head cyberneticist, has designed everything from simple replacements, to full-on, combat ready systems. Repairs are also offered, Armor and weapons are produced here, with the inventory changing often. Products include the ACTAS armor system, CLoWDS cybernetics, and DuraSkin. Sales and installation available on-site.

Located in the Red Dawn Medical Complex.

Image
Ah, yes, battle. JvS is full of it. We have no issues entertaining a fight, it's an integral part of the fabric of the site. However, we ask that you let us know 24-48 hours ahead of time if you are going to attack. This is so that we might provide time for our writers to be informed of the attack, and give the proper type of response. We believe that collaboration is conducive to good RP, and we will be happy to hear any ideas you may have.

There is a board describing our planetary defenses here. The defenses change regularly, so please look there if you have any questions about the military forces on and around Honoghr.

We -are- a platinum planet, but that does not mean we do not adhere to the Natural Laws set forth by the Whills. Anything not covered in this Traveler's Guide entry is governed by the rules found here. This keeps things flowing well. If you are not willing to recognize the planetary badge, or Traveler's Guide as an authority, we are more than likely not the place for you to RP.

Image
There are several people with authority on Honoghr currently, and due to the level of RP on the planet, there is usually someone available to speak with most of the time. A few of the ones to talk with about general RP on the planet follow.

-Adieumus Matango
-Ice Matango
-Kaiden Sareno
-Tza'uax
-Zik K. Kine
-Altus Dux

There are quite a few more writers on the planet that you can reach as well, via PM , chat, or the OOC board. Again, we are -always- happy to hear new ideas for the RP on Honoghr. New and diverse RP is the key to growth of any planet, and it is because of that fact that Honoghr has grown as much as it has.

Above all, we are here to have fun, and write a good story. If you wish to become part of this team, please message any of the people mentioned above, or any of the writers on planet. Thank you for visiting!!

Affiliation: Imperial Remnant, Sith

It was covered in thick Rain Forests of tall trees with leathery leaves, somewhat reminiscent of the rainforests of the planet Ithor.

Planet: Yavin IV
Current TG Entry: http://jedivsith.com/viewtopic.php?f=190&t=2741

New Entry below; Edits are numerous and throughout, almost all minor to reflect the departure of some writers and return of others, correct spelling errors, provide information on previously missed threads, make the existing information easier to understand and more comprehensive, and make the whole thing look a bit prettier.

All coded up and ready for copy/pasting.

Yavin IV in Canon on Wookieepedia

Yavin IV is one of three habitable moons orbiting the gas giant Yavin. Many thousands of years ago, the moon was a Sith world, where the likes of Naga Sadow, Freedon Nadd, and Exar Kun made their strongholds – the Massassi Temples. The small, relatively innocuous moon became famous as the site of the Battle of Yavin, where the Rebel Alliance, their headquarters based inside the Great Temple, achieved their first major victory against the Galactic Empire; a young X-Wing pilot and Jedi hopeful named Luke Skywalker destroyed the first Death Star, ending the superweapon's brief but devastating campaign.

Now, the Great Temple on the moon of Yavin IV houses the Jedi Praxeum, a Jedi Academy first started by Luke Skywalker in 11 ABY. The Praxeum was rebuilt and reopened under the leadership Jedi Master Ander Tagira in the years after the Yuuzhan Vong war, remaining under his administration for some time. After Master Tagira departed the Praxeum, the leadership responsibilities for the Jedi Temple were taken over by the Yavin IV Jedi Council, and is now run by the resident Jedi Masters of the Yavin Praxeum under the leadership of the Jedi High Council.

The terrain of the moon itself is mostly covered by thick, wild, and untamed forests, with a variety of flora and – often predatory – fauna. Dotted throughout one region of forest are the Massassi Temples, the most noteworthy being the Great Temple that houses the Jedi Praxeum of Yavin IV. Other Massassi Temples of interest include the Temple of Exar Kun, which houses a small, secure research post again run by the Jedi Praxeum, and the Temple of the Blueleaf Cluster. A river passes through the Massassi Temple region, flowing between the Great Temple and the Temple of the Blueleaf Cluster, and is crossable on foot at a few locations where there are wide but shallow fords. Other locations of note include the Massassi Arena, used occasionally as a training location by the Jedi. The forests are broken by large semi-volcanic mountains in places, and there are six interconnected oceans and a large landlocked sea across the planet.

There are no cities on Yavin IV, nor are there any sizable military outposts outside of the Great Temple. Dotted throughout the landscape in the 100km area surrounding the Great Temple are a number of small settlements set up by various groups of people. With a total population numbering less than five hundred across all the settlements, they can be described as villages or, at best, very small towns.

The jungle moon of Yavin IV is accompanied by twenty-five other moons which orbit the gas giant, Yavin Prime. The other two habitable moons of these twenty-six natural satellites are the eighth and thirteenth moons.

Yavin 8 is a cold, arid moon, with vast expanses of both thick and heavy snow and far-reaching brown tundra. The equatorial region includes numerous mountain ranges, which are dotted with interwoven lakes and rivers. Much like Yavin IV, Yavin VIII has numerous dangerous, predatory creatures within its wilderness. It holds a moderately large population of the native Melodie, an amphibious sentient species that occupy the lakes and rivers in the areas around the equatorial region.

Yavin XIII is a hot world, with vast, arid deserts, rocky plains, and dry forests of cacti-like trees and plants dominating much of the landscape, although some areas have grassy plains and there are numerous large, shallow seas in the southern hemisphere. At various points in the moon’s history, it has supported large civilisations of the native Gerb and Slith species, as well as small outposts and bases set up by numerous groups and organisations, although this can only be evidenced by abandoned dwellings and bases hidden among the terrain. Few – if any - members of either native species currently exist, as the Yuuzhan Vong went to great efforts to exterminate both life forms during their occupation of the system.

The Great Temple, home of the Jedi Praxeum

The Jedi Praxeum of Yavin IV is one of the longest standing and most significant Jedi installations in the Galaxy. Rebuilt following the destruction of the Great Temple during the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Yavin IV Jedi Praxeum has grown and evolved greatly in its time, developing into one of the cornerstones of the Jedi Order, and the permanent home to over three hundred Jedi. Many of the most prolifically significant and successful Jedi of the modern age have trained at the Praxeum at some point or another, and its tutors are recognised as knowledgeable and wise Jedi Instructors.

Led and guided by the resident masters of Yavin IV and Osarian, who themselves follow the guidance of the Jedi High Council, the Yavin IV Praxeum is perhaps the premier Jedi training facility in the Galaxy. Its training includes all aspects of the Jedi, with tutors specialising in every school of Jedi expertise. The Jedi Praxeum has extensive Archives, with access to the Holonet and a direct link to the Archives of Coruscant's Jedi Temple. The Jedi Praxeum also conducts research and training exercises in the Temple of Exar Kun and the Temple of the Blueleaf Cluster, and makes use of the ancient Massassi Arena to train Jedi in various physical skills and combat techniques from time to time. Students are housed in one of two sets of barracks on levels one and two of the Praxeum. Jedi Masters usually have their own two-room quarters, with ensuite bathing and refresher facilities, whereas Jedi Knights and Padawans usually have a large single room arrangement with ensuite facilities, and Jedi Initiates and Younglings often bunked up two to a room.

Although the Jedi Peacekeeping Taskforce is based in orbit, the Praxeum's security needs are primarily handled by the Jedi themselves. The Temple itself is defended by an Energy Shield that protects it from orbital attacks.

Key Teaching Staff
  • Headmaster and Chief Instructor: Jedi Master Zuli Madoon
  • Lightsaber Combat and Jedi Guardian Training: Jedi Battlemaster Dav Man'Sell
  • Jedi Aces and Jedi Sentinel Training: Jedi Master Jago Pulastra
  • Force Healing and Jedi Consular Training: Jedi Master Vesten Kor-taan
  • Alter Environment and Animal Friendship: Jedi Master Ksandra Mallan
  • Combat Fleet Tactics: Jedi Admiral Ronan Starflare
  • Jedi Guardian Training: Jedi Knight Joshua Kierra-Solo

Yavin IV is one of twenty-six moons in orbit of the vast, intimidatingly large gas giant, Yavin Prime. Only three of the twenty-six moons are inhabitable, with Yavin VIII and Yavin XIII also capable of supporting life. On Yavin VIII, the Jedi Peacekeeping Taskforce has a small base, which serves as the training base and primary barracks for the Jedi Order Auxiliary Marine Corps, an elite group within the Peacekeeping Taskforce.

Very few entry vectors allow ships to drop out directly on top of Yavin IV, due to the presence of the other moons and the gas giant's gravity well covering the majority of approach vectors, acting as a natural defence for the Jedi Praxeum - ships are forced to drop out of Hyperspace and approach from some distance, often circumnavigating the gas giant or having to weave between the outermost moons. Only someone extremely familiar with the system, with up to date navigation data, can leave Hyperspace close to the fourth moon.

Upon entering the region around Yavin IV, usually, the most obvious things to spot would be one or both of the Faction command ships for the Jedi Peacekeeping Taskforce; the 19km Mraz, an Executor-class Star Dreadnaught, or the 17km Templar, a Viscount-class Star Defender. In orbit of Yavin IV, Yavin Station holds position immediately above the Great Temple. At over 4000 meters, this Yavin Station is a clear central hub for traffic in the system. Surrounding the station, above the moon, is an assortment of ships of the Jedi Peacekeeping Taskforce.

Please read the Defence and Traffic details further down.

As home to one of the largest Jedi Factions in JvS, Yavin IV sees most, if not all, types of Roleplaying. However, there are some preferences that are insisted upon, as Yavin IV – and the Praxeum in particular – seeks to harbour a friendly, creative, and enjoyable roleplaying community. Types of RP encouraged here:

- IC Training: The Jedi Praxeum is one of the largest Jedi training facilities in the Galaxy. As such, we actively encourage players to come to the Praxeum and roleplay as either a student or tutor.

- Long-Term Pre-arranged RP: A core part of the Yavin IV RP involves Long Term or Pre-arranged RP Arcs, including on going arcs run by the Praxeum Council. Although involvement in the majority of RP’s are voluntary, Pre-arranged RPs take precedence here, and we insist that you take heed of RP events on going and do not hinder their progression. We actively encourage people to contact the leaders/organisers of pre-arranged RP events and join in the RPs, though please take care not to interrupt RPs they may be closed or private. If in doubt, contact the writers involved in an RP you wish to join.

- Duels and Fight Scenes: Welcomed on Yavin IV by writers OOC, even if IC, violence is discouraged. Although welcome, please refrain from doing so within the Jedi Praxeum group pages unless it is a part of a pre-arranged RP or a sparring session, as the Jedi would not allow a fight to just break out within its halls without stepping in, and many of the RPs inside the Praxeum are planned RPs that shouldn't be disrupted. If you would like to organise a duel within the Praxeum, and the realistic response of Praxeum security, please contact one of Yavin IV's head writers to arrange something.

- Starfighter Engagements: A key element in the Yavin IV RP is our resident elite Jedi Starfighter Squadron, Dragon Squadron. We are, therefore, actively seeking RPs that can involve the Dragons. To RP with the the Squadron, please PM the three commanding officers of Dragon Squadron, Ksandra Mallan, Dav Man'Sell, and Jago Pulastra. The Squadron is a Player Character Squadron, and membership to the Squadron is by invitation only from the leading members of the Squadron; when vacancies are available, we will be on the lookout for talented writers who write Jedi Pilot characters in or around Yavin IV.

- Other (Non-fleet/troop battle) Combat Scenarios: We are also always willing to set up battles, conflicts, and contests of various kinds. We welcome people to provide villains for us to defeat or missions for our Jedi to complete, and would love to hear, OOC, from anyone who would like to write with the Jedi here.

- Reactive or ‘Spur-of-the-Moment’ RP: Welcome and encouraged, but anything that will involve conflict with the defence forces or residents, injury to any resident player character, or anything beyond minor/superficial damage to the locations present, must be discussed OOC with the necessary players VIA PM first. Please bear in mind, when RPing within the Jedi Praxeum group boards, or on the Great Temple threads that these locations are a major Jedi facility, and contain a large number of NPC Jedi at all times.

- Fleet/Troop Battles: We ask that anyone wishing to engage in any kind of blockade or combat action against the Praxeum or the forces defending it contact the head writers first VIA PM and discuss this OOC. The Praxeum is home to a number of major long-term and pre-planned arcs, and these take precedence over any competitive play, so combat of this kind will only be welcomed once an OOC agreement of some kind has been made.

- OOC Discussion: Absolutely forbidden on all Yavin IV boards. Instead, please use PMs, or the
IC disputes settled OOC board.

- Voiding RPs: Whilst we accept that sometimes it is necessary to do so, consistency of RP is very important to writers on Yavin IV, and Voiding RPs is not liked or desired by the resident writers. Voids must be mutually agreed upon with the resident writers before they are permitted, and they should be handled delicately and without OOC spamming of the IC boards.

The nature of the writing team on Yavin IV means that we place a strong, dedicated emphasis on IC consistency and sensibility, and also on pre-planned or at least roughly outlined RPs. This means that we will make decisions based on what a Jedi would do, and what our Jedi characters believe is the right course of action, and simple outright logic about what would happen in reality. This may include, sometimes, refusing to permit access to certain areas, or refusing business deals, military alliances, and other, similar things. Please be assured that this is usually due to IC character beliefs and Jedi principles or to maintain consistency of storyline, and not any kind of OOC reaction to any individual. The only OOC element that will affect IC decisions will be whether or not we believe that any given action or RP is beneficial to the desires and needs of the Yavin IV writing group as a whole. This may sometimes mean that we will refuse to partake in an RP that we don't want to be involved in - however, we are always willing to negotiate and discuss ideas with other writers, so please don't be turned off if our initial response is that we do not want any particular RP on our planet. We will always work to figure something out. Our primary interests, in this regard, are outlined in this Traveler's Guide entry.

Image
Primary Sympathies tend towards:
- Jedi
- Non-Jedi Light-Siders
- Grey Jedi
- Republic Representatives
- Any primarily Light Side friendly neutral forces

A strongly Jedi system, Yavin IV is friendly to all Light Side Jedi, Republic Representatives or Personnel, would-be Jedi, and generally Light Side aligned neutrals. Visitors who wish to make use of the various IC facilities of Yavin Station are welcomed: However, we request that you bring only the ships you need into the system when doing business with these groups. Whole fleets can often be reacted to with extreme suspicion, or can cause unnecessary misunderstandings, so we encourage visitors to leave combat-fleets at home when making visits to the Yavin system.

Non-hostile ships within the Yavin System will always be protected and assisted by the Jedi Peacekeeping Taskforce should they come under attack or get in trouble whilst in our space. Escorts are also available upon request. With the defences available from the Jedi Forces, this should alleviate any need for visitors to bring their own fleets into the system.

We will meet with and discuss situations with other Force Users, Mandalorians, or any other non-Jedi, non-Light Side group or individual, though we tend to prefer to do so 'by appointment'. Please send a PM before you come to talk to us.

Smaller groups of people or individuals travelling alone, such as smugglers, traders, and similar sorts are welcome and encouraged to come land on Yavin Station to make trade, meet people, or resupply. The military forces that run Yavin Station do not mind trading and business being conducted there, and most people will be allowed to go about their business unhindered, so long as the trade and business conducted are not illegal or morally unethical. Yavin Station contains a number of retail outlets, entertainment venues, and consumer services, as well as the Onyx Dragon, a famous Cocktail Lounge and bar known for stocking exotic and rare beverages. Visitors to Yavin Station seeking to use these services are always welcomed; both private craft and publicly used transports regularly dock at the station.

Regardless of how it might be justified by other groups, we will not ally with or befriend Dark-Jedi, Sith, or anyone who engages in 'Evil' acts that wildly disagree with the Jedi principles of the Yavin Jedi. This is a matter of IC principle and dedication to playing a Jedi Order that upholds the principles and attitudes of the Light Side.

Image
We welcome newcomers to the game, and are always willing to work with any individual seeking to write in a mutually enjoyable RP. New arrivals can expect:
- Visiting writers welcome
- Long term writers welcome
- New players to the Universe welcome
- New players will receive answers to questions through PM's and RP training (see below)
- Jedi looking for a base of operations and characters wishing to receive or give IC training as a Jedi actively encouraged and sought for.

To join the story here, please do one of the following:

- Arrive IC in Yavin’s Orbit and introduce yourself/request to land. Yavin Control will respond, and instruct you, in most cases, to land on Yavin Station for security checks and clearance, and there you'll be met by someone. Landing on Yavin Station first is the standard operating procedure. Due to the history of Yavin IV on JvS, we ask that you contact Yavin Control before attempting any sort of landing on Yavin IV or Yavin VIII, unless some other OOC arrangement has been made before hand. Yavin XIII is open for any RP, although activity by large groups or over extended periods of time are liable to draw attention and suspicion from the Peacekeeping Taskforce. Permanent residents of the Jedi Praxeum itself are assumed to have clearance and may RP the conversation with Yavin Control themselves. Resident Jedi of the other major Jedi bases are also usually cleared directly for the Praxeum – permission may sometimes be given OOC to RP their own clearance. Access to the surface is otherwise often controlled, although we are always willing to come up with a way, OOC, of accommodating as many personal RP desires as possible. Always PM us to discuss ideas and possibilities outside of these normal boundaries, as we welcome your visit!

- Make a post on the IC disputes settled OOC.

- PM one of the Jedi listed below and introduce yourself.

We will always endeavour to get in touch with new arrivals in orbit in some fashion as soon as possible; usually, this is within 24 hours, although sometimes it may take a couple of days due to sometimes casual post rates on the world. We will always endeavour to contact you at least OOC at the first possible opportunity.

The Faction leaders at current are Jedi Battlemaster Dav Man’Sell, and Jedi Master Jago Pulastra, who are responsible for the leadership of all activities in the Praxeum and can be asked about any element of the Praxeum's activities. The Academy’s teaching staff is headed up by Jedi Master Zuli Madoon, making him a good first-stop for anything related to being a student of Yavin IV. Other leading writers include Jedi Master Ksandra Mallan, Commanding Officer of Yavin IV's elite Dragon Squadron and a senior member of the Praxeum team, Jedi Master Ronan Starflare, who is one of the three joint Commanding Officers of the Peacekeeping Taskforce. Additional noteworthy Jedi from Yavin IV include Jedi Master Vesten Kor-taan, Jedi Master Ton Phedi, and Jedi Knight Joshua Kierra-Solo.

If you're interested in working directly with the Jedi Order Auxiliary Marine Corps, based on Yavin VIII, contact Dav Man’Sell or Jago Pulastra.

In orbit of the moon, Yavin Station serves as the primary control point for all traffic in the system. A large Spacestation, it includes vast public hangers and docking facilities, and various trade outlets, shopping precincts, and consumer services. Its primary purpose is as the Headquarters and control centre for Yavin IV's Peacekeeping Taskforce. The station is heavily armed, with concealed fire power matching three Golan III Defence platforms, and holds Geosynchronous orbit over the Massassi Temple region of Yavin IV. There are no other fixed orbital defences, as Yavin Station combines all of the permitted defences into one facility; however the station is often surrounded by the various fleets of the Taskforce, each assigned to the supervision of one of the Jedi Masters based on Yavin. One, or both, of the Faction Command ships are almost always present and are usually the most noticeable of the defences; the Executor-class Super Star Destroyer, Mraz and the Viscount-class Star Defender, Templar. Starfighter Squadrons (usually XJ9 X-Wings, TIE Interceptors, or Series IV E-Wings) engage in frequent patrols of the area. These forces are primarily seen in orbit of Yavin IV.

On the surface, chief defence comes from the Praxeum's defence shield, which is strong enough to withstand substantial orbital assault, a pair of V-150 Anti-orbital Ion Cannons, and groupings of concealed Anti-Aircraft flak pod towers in the area around the Jedi Praxeum. There is also natural defence to be found in the thick forests, dangerous wildlife, and difficult terrain, which will significantly hinder the progress of any external ground travelling forces. Friendly military forces are quite sparse on the surface of the planet themselves under normal circumstances, with only a small defence allocation normally stationed within the Praxeum, the Temple of Exar Kun, and the Temple of the Blueleaf Cluster. The Jedi Praxeum itself also has a few extra defence squadrons stationed inside the Hangar, piloted by a combination of Jedi and Military pilots, that launch only in the circumstance that attackers make it into the Atmosphere. The biggest defensive challenge faced by any attackers that reach the surface is the presence of so many Jedi, who are generally more than capable of defending themselves and repelling any attacks.

Image
Yavin IV is sparsely populated. All official representation for the planet is done through the Jedi Praxeum, which is by far the largest community on the planet, and its Jedi are the primary leadership for the planet. The occupants of Yavin Station are primarily members of the Peacekeeping Taskforce military, and are governed according to Military Hierarchy.

The Yavin IV Jedi Praxeum is part of the Jedi Order, and as such takes its lead from the High Jedi Council, on which Jedi Masters Jago Pulastra and Dav Man'Sell, both leading Jedi at the Praxeum, hold seats. Yavin IV is also closely affiliated with the Republic, but since it has almost no civilian population, is not considered an actual member.

To raise a concern or speak with the leading Yavin Jedi, please contact Dav Man’Sell or Jago Pulastra, or one of the other lead writers.

Membership to the Jedi Praxeum Usergroup is not automatically granted to people who apply. We reserve the right not to disclose our reasons on the occasions that we refuse membership, though these occasions are rare.

Re: Update a Planet Guide Entry Here

OOC: I am posting this as a request from Vincent Kandosii as he does not wish to make any OOC posts on his account. (He wishes to achieve 1,000 posts without any OOC.) The current TG Entry for Mandalore is out of date so a new one has been written reflecting the new writers on Mandalore.

About Mandalore:

All RPers are welcome here, from the most experienced to the brand new ones. You will find quality RPing and elaborate/intriguing storylines. It is also a place to gain great respect and learn quality and honorable RPing. Respect, honor, and brotherhood are important themes of Mandalorian society, and new players should keep this in mind.

You are not recognised as leadership on Mandalore, nor a Group Leader, and as such have no authority to change the TG for that planet, regardless of whether it is in good faith or not. You are not even an officially recognised Clan leader, and to undertake this request without the input of even them is totally out of line.

I ask the Whills to disregard this request on the basis he has no right to make it in the first place.

I second this. Mandalore has always been controlled and run by THE ENTIRE MANDALORIAN COMMUNITY on JvS. No changes should be made without the input of the current Mandalore (Malice Hingang) or the clan leaders.

Re: Update a Planet Guide Entry Here

Vincent Kandosii wrote:OOC: Here is a PM conversation with Malice Hinghang, the current recognized Manda'lor, giving me permission to change the Guide Entry and giving me permission to govern the "day to day operations" of the planet.

I would also like to add that Taung H'rel has given me permission to RP the Mandal companies since they are inactive. This is all in an attempt to achieve a platinum ranking for Mandalore, a planet that has had no RP for quite some time. As you can see, it is almost identical to the entry that is there now, except I chaned a few "expected SLs" so when they do scan the planet, we don't get penalized for not having any of the RP that we list in the TG.

I did not know about usergroups or anything so that part I am sorry for but I can have my team join it if need be. (Although I don't see why that would be a requirement as they are all Alts so can't set it to default.)

Vincent Kandosii wrote:Greetings,

You don't know me but I am Vincent Kandosii. I am a new RPer to this site, but not to text based RPG, as my posts prove. I am writing a Mandalorian character and have assembled a writing team. We are all Mandalorians and currently writing on Mandalore.

As Mandalore has been pretty much abandoned. (Fitting under the 1 month abandonment rule) I decided to try and breath some life back in to the planet. To put it mildly, it worked, and my writing team is growing by the day. Our goal now is to try and raise Mandalore to the rank of Platinum. For this, however, I will need your help. since you are the Manda'lor, you control the planet, so to speak.

What I am asking is being able to govern the RP on the planet. My character won't govern the planet, and I will have no real control over it. (Should you come in and want the planet, it is yours no contest.) What I am asking for, though, is the ability to control the tempo and style of RP that occurs there. Basically if someone has a huge SL they wish to write, they ask me about it to try and work it out so it will best work toward our overall badge rating.

I would also like to update the planetary guide entry. It is pretty much outdated and to achieve platinum you have to write RPs and follow tendencies that are listed in the guide. So basically if you say there will be wartime RP on the planet, there has to be some wars or it counts against you.

So in the end all I am asking for is the ability to update the guide, and the ability to have some measure of say-so in the RP that happens there. (I don't do drastic RP so it will all be SLs based heavily around Canon.)

Well hope you accept, as I see no reason why not to.

Vincent Kandosii

Malice Hingang wrote:That sounds like a great idea. I'll allow you to run the day to day operations of Mandalore and I'll give you a lot of autonomy, but I'll bring in my military and have direct control over it. Once back at Mandalore I'll rp it out with your character. Sound good?

Re: Update a Planet Guide Entry Here

OOC: You can go ahead and scrub Mandalore, but the Wayland update still stands. Vincent invaded it, as it was under the 3 month abandonment rule, so now has claim to it. It is where we shall be moving our RP, as it actually has a chance to be platinum now.

I do want to say I am very disappointed in you guys right now. All Vincent was doing was trying to bring RP to Mandalore and actually give people something positive to talk about when someone mentioned "Mandalorians". (He didn't even really change the TG except a few small parts.) All he was doing was trying to help and actually write on a planet that has been dead for quite some time. So we will be moving our writing over to Wayland, and I am sure Mandalore will go right back to where it was, a ghost planet.

Re: Update a Planet Guide Entry Here

-Name of planet: Falleen

Planetary Information: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Falleen_%28planet%29

-Existing canon planetary info:
Falleen joined the Galactic Republic prior to 3,996 BBY. In the years following the Battle of Naboo, Falleen experienced a boom in the construction of factories and manufacturing facilities, as corporations found it was less costly to maintain such facilities on remote planets. During the Clone Wars, the planet was represented in the Galactic Senate by Zurros, who served as a double agent for Count Dooku until Falleen openly joined the Confederacy, though it took a land invasion and coercion of the Falleen King to complete it.
Hologram memorial of Falleen killed in Darth Vader's "sterilization" of the planet.

Later, during the early years of the New Order, Darth Vader established a bacteriological research outpost on the planet. When a highly-destructive bacterium got loose in 7 BBY, Vader ordered his ships in orbit to raze the laboratory and the city surrounding it in order to save the rest of the planet. Vader wiped out the bacterium, along with an entire city and over two hundred thousand Falleen, including the royal House Sizhran.[1] However, biological and chemical research for military purposes continued on the planet in other locations.

Decades later, Falleen, which never joined the New Republic, fell to the Yuuzhan Vong, shortly after the destruction of the Fondor shipyards and Hosk Station. After the war's end, the planet remained unaligned and isolated.

-IC Sympathy tends towards: Neutral Force Users

-IC Welcome Sympathy towards: Light and Dark Siders

-Type of RP and/or SL likely to be found:
Open to All RP (invasions are to be PMed to Cade Fel/Fel Empire group)

-Specific Scenarios:
* Major RP's welcome (Invasions, etc.)
* Duels
* IC Training for the character
* OOC Training in RP technique
* Combatant storylines (starting a revolution/rebellion)
* Combatant personal storylines (assassination attempts)
* Non-combatant personal storylines (e.g. romance or adventure)
* Non-combatant large storylines (planetary affairs such as business)

-What to expect as a new RP arrival wanting to write here, (you may add others if required):
Visiting writers are welcome. Long term writers are asked to PM before to allow permenant accomodation on the planet. New players to the Universe are welcome and instructions on RP training are offered upon request.

To join the story here: Arrive IC in open space, a welcome message will be sent ASAP. Alternatively introduce yourself via PM.

You will not receive an official ooc welcome, Falleen is trying to reduce ooc to a minimum.

-Any major factions/chars/places of interest that have been RPed here. a brief description of set up, any past plots or info a newcomer to the planet may need regarding the RP here.

Falleen is part of the Fel Empire, which is led by Cade Fel, and is backed up by his Imperial Knights and other major Military officials.

The Capital City is the main ground for Falleen.
Fel Empire Fort is the new HQ of the Empire, taken over from the Dark Commonwealth after their mysterious disappearance from the Galaxy, and offers Knight and Military training, Moff Council Meetings, rest, and welcomes Ambassadors from other Nations, Empires, Governments, etc.

All recruits are welcome, any characters that wish to RP can bring any attributes they like to the planet. Falleen is looking for a good mix of RPers to bring in good strong SL's.

With Falleen now a Neutrally placed planet Force wise, all Light Side and Dark Side users are to behave and not engage each other in cities or other government areas. Defilers of this law will be detained and tried. Release will only come from negotiations with a new representative of the Defilers' government, including a fine of between 10 Million and 20 Billion credits (pending on the Defilers' offense).

The only major thing that I would like to see changed is that the controlling faction will become The Gorog Stalkers, however we are not a formal faction... We are a group of writers that came up with the name and such because we wanted to do something different yet we have not gotten a usergroup as of yet.

Leaders of that group would be Darval Kandosii, Hov'ac Tor, and Zuxin. In that order.

Also with these:

-IC Sympathy tends towards: Neutral Force Users---Change to: Non-Force Users

-IC Welcome Sympathy towards: Light and Dark Siders----Change to: Non-Force Users (With minor exceptions as directed by The Gorog Stalkers)

-Type of RP and/or SL likely to be found:
Open to All RP (invasions are to be PMed to Cade Fel/Fel Empire group)---Change to: "PM To the leaders of The Gorog Stalkers etc etc

Would like to see this become:

Falleen is a refuge for the Mercenary group known as The Gorog Stalkers and those of the similar nature.
All recruits are welcome, any characters that wish to RP can bring any attributes they like to the planet. Falleen is looking for a good mix of RPers to bring in good strong SL's.

Capital City will be the main stronghold of The Gorog Stalkers and where they would meet with deligates from different places, as well as conduct business with any and all that seek their services.

With Falleen now within the control of said Gorog Stalkers the neutraility of the Force users is abolished and strict ruling against public display of such things will be ensued with action from The Gorog Stalkers themselves. In the case that Jedi or Sith are on the planet they will be heavily watched, if something comes against the controls of what they believe to keep the presence of the Force users away from their homeworld.

Also in the event that Jedi or Sith are invited to the planet to discuss terms of business, they will be required to acknowledge they will not partake in fighting on the planet unless they so are told it is welcomed. If there is to be a duel on the planet due to scenic purposes of your writing styles, then please PM one of the leaders of the group and they will accomodate you immediately for said duel.

Businesses are welcomed, and would be held under the protection of The Gorog Stalkers. Pubs, nightclubs, casinos, all welcome and will be used. Any that wish to do so on Falleen will be responsible for paying taxes to the controlling members of the planet. This fund will be kept track of personally and will be asserted to the protection fees of the businesses and establishments, rather than another fee for the protection. You scratch our back we scratch yours.

Welcome to Falleen, and bring your strong writing skills to the table. We would rather see this than counterproductive works of art.
