When Everything Falls

==Current Year==

*During a long trek through the Outer Rim territories Kylarn sat in the cockpit of The Mantis, the refurbished D5-Mantis drifted in Hyperspace, headed in the direction of the Tingle Arm, data streamed through the the controls of the ship that had taken the crew through many different adventures, many times of trial, and further most had kept them out of the reaches of some of the fiercest entanglements Kylarn had seen. The data that folded out before him set the Mando'ad in an uneasy manner, years ago now he had been born on Concord Dawn, but not as an only child in the birth, he was the first born of the Vhett Twins.*

==Flashback:29 years==

In the early hours of the morning, three days before the harvest of the yearly crops the Vhett Homestead was the only home in the terrain of the Vhett homeworld with the lights still shining throughout the home. The birth of the newest additions to Clan Vhett was about to occur. The Father to Cassus had been well known on Concord Dawn, the eldest child set forth was just now entering the training process of the Mando'ad, but little to his knowledge he was about to be an older brother, during the darkest point of night two sons were born to Cassus' Father once more, in a small ranch house just beyond the extremities of the Fett Homestead, the woman of no known origin to an clan had lived among the people of Concord Dawn and adopted into the Clan many cycles before this night, first born was a boy, the Father took him into his arms and spoke softly to the mother waiting for approval. "Let's name him Kylarn, after your Father." Moments later the second of the new arrivals emerged from the mother's womb, she screamed in agonizing pain, the childbirth had proven to be very difficult, but she nodded to the Father, not able to speak as the medical droids filled her with medication to stamper the pain and bleeding. As the second child came forth, another male, she spoke one single word.* "Griff" The two boys were whisked away from the room their mother was attended to in, she was bleeding at an alarming rate, and the pain had risen far greater than the medical staff had anticipated, she was not in the right age to bear two children at once, but thus was how Fate had set upon her. The Father entered the room with the two children and looked them over, identical twins, every feature of the small boys were the same, save for Griff having a birthmark underneath his right eye, obviously from the forced labor his mother had just undergone. As the leader of Clan Vhett stared at his two new sons he spoke to a medical droid that insisted they finalize the documentation that was mandated by the mando'ade empire. "First born of the twins shall be named Kylarn Vhett. And the second born of them shall be named Griff Vhett. First born after his mother's father, and the second named after the reason that his mother and father met."

As the days passed the mother grew stronger, no testament to how strong mando'ade women trul were, the men of Clan Vhett offered gifts to the family that had brought two new men into their ranks, the Father watched as the other women of the clan took care of the children, they had been given to him for a reason, his other son, Cassus, would not be made aware of their existence until later on. The Father had come to the understanding that the training of Cassus was to take priority over the good news, and once he was finished with his training in a few years he would introduce Kylarn and Griff to Cassus. As the Father called a halt to the party recognizing the birth of his two new sons he swept them up and walked them to their mother's resting chambers, leaving them in her care, along with the other women in the clan he left for his duty, to the Journeymen protectors. Everything he felt about his new sons being logged into a datapad for the memories to be gleaned when the time was correct for them, secured in the vault beneath the ranch house.

*As Ky sat in the pilot's seat, eyes closed behind his buy'ce, recalling all of the things that had been told to him about his father as he grew in age and strength. Looking over the datapad that sat in his lap, sifting through the vital intel gathered as to the whereabouts of Griff. He looked up and out of the viewport, staring and trying to remember everything he could about his brother, as the last time they had seen each other was before he could meet Cassus... The Jedi had come to Concord Dawn at the directive of their council, Griff had been taken to Coruscant originally to train as a Jedi, but word had reached Ky in his older years that Griff had renounced himself from the Jedi Order and had severed himself from the Force. Something that Ky had seen as a shock, but had waited for his brother to return to Concord Dawn as the time had proven to himself being involved in the Mando'ade Empire's Intelligence Corps he had sifted through every piece of intel concerning the name of Vhett he could find... but nothing of his lost brother had emerged. So now it seemed odd that intel could be found on Griff, living in the Tingle Arm under the radar of the mando'ade, away from his heritage, there had to be something about them that bothered Griff, but Ky desperately wished to find his brother.

As time passed Kylarn began to drift into sleep, the trip would take several more hours to reach the next location that he wished to search for Griff, and by the time he got there he would need his rest.*

Re: When Everything Falls

*The Mantis came to the desired location and indicators flashed across the control panels as Kylarn sat staring out the viewport, pulling back on the hyperspace controls the ship slowed and exited lightspeed the distortion of space time drifting away revealing stars and the darkness of space. Sitting up straighter in the pilot's seat the Bothan crew member named Snail spoke to him about the scans of the system, they had come upon planet of Yoggoy, a small trail that could lead to Kylarn's twin, a glimmer of hope it what seemed to be a doomed mission. The scanner ran their checks and continued to stream information to The Mantis' control panel.

Ky stood from the pilot's seat as the ship's throttle sat idle, drifting far from the orbit of Yoggoy. Walking slowly to the scanner's main screen just looking over the shoulder of Snail Ky spoke through the buy'ce, his voice being projected from within the HUD through it's upgraded systems.*

:: Make sure we scan the entire planet, I know it's going to take time, but remember this is just to scout out what trouble I'm going to run into down there. I want to know how many there are, what they have for weapons, and above all else if this information here is correct. :: *Pointing to the designated location on the planetar map Ky looked over to the Bothan and continued to speak.* :: If that building has holding cells I want all of their schematics, I don't care what system you have to hack into to get the readouts, get them, and get them yesterday. ::

*Moving his body away from the comm scanners and toward the exit of the cockpit, making his way toward the cargo hold of The Mantis. As he walked he considered what the initial scans from the hacked servers of the republic had shown, the Killiks amassed in the thousands in certain locations, all known records of the species had shown that they were all connected through something that the Jedi called a hivemind. The thoughts flooded his mind about what could possibly happen on Yoggoy, but the time to go planetside was not now. Entering the cargo hold and walking to the weapons rack Ky pressed his hand to the security panel and the hiss of the seal reverberated throughout the hold, the durasteel doors slid apart and inside lay his weapons. Pulling the Nightstinger III Sniper Rifle from the top rack and placing it onto the workbench he then drew out the heavy mandalorian blasters and placed them opposite of the rifle, pulling the cleaning kit next and finally withdrawing the beskar shortswords and the sharpening kit for them.

Sitting down at the workbench Kylarn removed his buy'ce and placed it alongside him, pulling the cleaning tools out of their box and began working on the sniper rifle, cleaning the monster of a rifle took time, and the necessary skill had taken Kylarn months to master. The tedious work was an escape from the thoughts that flooded Ky during this period of time, it was something to keep his mind at ease. As he worked the crew sent word to him through the system in his buy'ce, as he did not respond Snail emerged from the cockpit and entered the hold standing a distance away from Ky now he waited until Ky finished working on the sniper rifle, knowing him well enough that he needed to get away from everything that was going through his mind. The Bothan gathered a pair of cups from the opposite side of the hold and brewed a pot of Caff as he waited.

Ky stood from the workbench and stared at Snail, walking over to the table he sat at drinking the Caff, Ky took the second cup and filled it as he sat down to speak with his favored crew member.*
"What did you find ner'vod?"

*The Bothan took another drink of his Caff and frowned slightly in the direction of Kylarn before speaking.* "Zee Kileeks, Zey have.... Grown in noombers since zee last scans."

*Placing the cup of Caff onto the durasteel table the pair of men sat at, Ky looked at Snail and understood that the Bothan was displeased to share this new piece of information, he simply placed his hand onto the Bothan man's shoulder and spoke softly.* "I'm going to need more power cells then."

*As the pair continued to drink their Caff Kylarn took the datapad from his belt and entered a message to the other crew members in the cockpit, within moments The Mantis turned about and headed in the direction of Concord Dawn. Ky had made up his mind that the time would be soon, but the preparation needed to be well taken care of. Snail hacked into systems in the Core about the buildings that were in place on Yoggoy as they continued to drink in the hold and connected the images to the large view screen within the hold the crew had used for mission briefing in the previous missions they had conducted in the previous months, they joked and plotted together as the ship began it's way toward the Mid Rim.

Within ten minutes The Mantis had moved into the appropriate Hyperspace lane and entered lightspeed.*

Re: When Everything Falls

*While Kylarn still sat in the hold and plotted with Snail about Yoggoy The Mantis exited lightspeed and entered orbit over Concord Dawn, word had been sent ahead of time to the Gladiator-Class Star Destroyer that sat in orbit of Ky's homeworld that they would be arriving and that Ky would be briefing the troops on a new mission, the small battalion of three hundred commandos would be briefed within the hour by Ky and the other members of The Mantis' crew. The Mantis drifted into the front hangar bay, the ramp lowered and Ky walked with Snail down the ramp of the refurbished D5-Mantis freighter. Once they entered the hangar of the Gladiator they walked briskly to the lift and entered. The lifts moved quickly upward toward the bridge, once stopped the durasteel doors slid apart with a hiss. Snail exited first and announced Ky's entrance to the bridge. Ky waved down the salutes of the crew within the bridge and started talking to the leader of the commandos. Removing his buy'ce as he started to speak.*

"Commander, your men need to be in briefing within the hour, three rooms, all of them different briefings, I want you in with Snail, I'll take the second batch, and the third. I'm going to need someone to create a distraction, the Gladiator will provide a bombardment run once I am on the planet, and then your men will create a diversion in the opposite sectors."

*Walking away from the commander as Snail continued to speak to him about the briefing schedule Ky watched out the viewport at the surface of Concord Dawn, remembering everything he could about the planet, with the sinking feeling that he would never return to his home. Pulling his buy'ce back over his head he opened the private comm channel to the Fett Homestead, securing the private channel was simple but directing the message to only be heard by Cassus was another story. Finally finding the frequency to Cassus' buy'ce Ky began to speak, the voice could not be heard beyond the buy'ce, the surrounding crew members believed he was simply staring in silence.*

:: Brother, I've found information about Griff. I am taking The Gladiator to Yoggoy to find out just how much those bugs know. Don't steal my Tihaar. ::

*As he finished the message Ky smirked to himself behind the buy'ce and turned to face the screen that held the information concerning the recent upgrades to the ship, within the cargo ba Ky had ordered a carbon freezing facility be placed, so that if the ship needed to carry supplies to a far off system that was going to go bad within a certain amount of time, mainly the specific kind of spice he had been running for certain groups throughout the galaxy for a nice bit of profit, and this cut out the middle pricing gouge of certain people who would freeze it for his delivery. Nodding to the crew member who was overseeing the facilities finish Ky walked away from the crew and the viewport, making his way to the lift and down to his personal chambers.

A half hour later Ky emerged from his personal chambers in a slick pair of black pants, his newest pair of boots, and a dark green shirt emblazoned with the Clan Vhett symbol at his chest. Walking swiftly to the briefing center just down the hall he entered the room and looked out upon the faces of the commandos, some too young to be here, but they were all paid to do what they were commanded, the choice was their own. Walking in front of the commandos he nodded to the commanders that sat in the very front of the group, one hundred men sat in wait for him to brief them, his astromech known as Clumsy had connected to the terminal and was showing the commandos schematics for the buildings that set forth, one of which was a detention center, this group would be the only one to know he was going to be on the surface on his own with no team to back him up. Ky began his speech all the while stroking the beard that had begun to grow over his face.*

"You lot will be the first diversion for this mission, take note of the detention center here." *Pointing to the holo projection of the detention facility that Ky hoped was holding Griff, or at least the information concerning his twin brother.* "I will be entering this facility, alone."

*As the discord started amongst the commandos, and outburst that their general would be entering alone Ky placed a hand in the air and gave a stern look out to the grouping of commanders just before him, they stood up and put a silence to the commandos at once.* "Now, if you don't want to see me dead here is the location that you are going to assault, along with the third group of commandos, two hundred in total to overwhelm the smaller facility, this will draw out the dirty bugs from the detention facility and leave me open to enter the facility uncompromising my entrance."

*Nodding to Clumsy the holo projection of the facilities faded away and Ky stood before the commandos speaking for the final time.* "Regs dismissed, Commanders stay behind."

*As the one hundred commandos exited the briefing room Ky picked up the cup of Caff left at the front of the chamber, drinking it and then refilling it for his next conversation. As the last regs left the room Ky spoke to the commanders.* "Each of you will be assigned a detail on the mission, Snail will broadcast it from the bridge. I am going to hire an outside man to engage with the second division of your commandos. His orders are final, understood?"

*The commanders nodded to Kylarn and took the datapad that sat on the table for each of them, each datapad contained the information needed for each squadron, twelve squads in each division, all with separate orders and routes to take before they would converge on the smaller facilities together. Ky walked back over to the desk in the briefing chamber and pulled up the holonet news, drinking his Caff he spoke again.* "Dismissed."

*After the commanders left the room Ky looked over to Clumsy and spoke again.* "Get Ashrah on the comm, we can pick him up, transfer the credits to his account once he negotiates a price with Snail, I want him in this briefing chamber before the troops get some sleep."

*The astromech whirred with confusion as Ky patted him on the dome and continued to drink his Caff, sitting at the desk and watching the holovids of the current news throughout the galaxy.*

Re: When Everything Falls

==Two Hours previous==

==Snail==
*Commanders and Regs falled into the first briefing room as directed by Snail, the Bothan male who controled the comm systems on Kylarn's ship called The Mantis. each of them looked to their respective commander for direction but received nothing, they were all going to hear the new mission at once, and that was the way that Ky had directed it to be. Snail looked out to the men before him, staring at the faces of each commando before he started to speak.*

"Zee mayne goal for your mission iz to create chaos amongst zee Kileeks. Disrupt zee communications, and destroy zee facility holding all of zher security controls. Your commanders vhill now complete zhis briefing."

*Snail sat down at the control panel of the briefing chamber and began going over the schematics as the commanders laid out the plans for their squads, each squad in this unit would have decisive objectives, all planned out accordingly between Ky and Snail before they had returned to The Gladiator. As the meeting continued Snail wondered if his friend would survive, but he had sworn not to tell the other commanders that Ky was going to the surface unprotected, into the detention facility while these men created the distraction.*

==Ten minutes after Ky's briefing to the second Unit==

==Clumsy==

*The small astromech droid scurried in the corridors as he had been given word from Kylarn about what he was supposed to accomplish, finding Snail just outside the bridge he whirred to the Bothan man what was asked of them, following the Bothan into the bridge and to the comm channel he waited as Snail opened the channel to find Ashrah. Relaying the message over the comm to Ashrah in text version Clumsy connected to the terminal and sent word to the man Kylarn had asked for.*

:: Your services have been requested Ashrah, Kylarn has given us direct order to pay you whatever it takes to get you on board The Gladiator. Mission statements are being transmitted with this message, respond at your earliest convenience, we will pick you up. ::

*After the message had been delivered Clumsy whirred at Snail in thanks, and then returned to the briefing room to aid Ky in the briefing of the third unit.*

Re: When Everything Falls

Ashrah sat, as he normally did, in quiet indifference. If his boys werent around, he really had no reason to speak. His buy'ce sat on the table in front of him, visor facing him, and his beer sat next to it, hardly touched. He looked around the room briefly, noting where everyone sat, and watching carefully their movements. One could never be too sure. Even at home....

His bucket gave off an annoying beep, letting him know someone was trying to get a hold of him....he reached out, picked it up, and slapped it over his head, blinking the msg to life...He read it once....twice...then a third time...vhett? Calling him? Something drastic must be afoot.....He sent a message back quickly

:: No payment is necessary...I owe Cassus Honour. Anything for Clan Vhett. I am on Mandalore. I await your arrival... ::\

He stood quickly, and briskly walked from the room. He had preparations to make.....

=Fett Homestead, Concord Dawn=

*Tending to the twins in a rare moment of relaxation, his mind yet wandered regarding the trials and tribulations that currently were plaguing dealings at present. A Mandalorian Empire in disarray, Death Watch running wild and with little trace, and a lull in business that was sure to hit the coffers in the long run if it continued. As the chime sang out, not from his comm as usual, but instead on the encrypted, and private channel reserved only for emergency family contact, he frowned, placing Amelle back in her cot beside her sister, and dashed to his buy'ce through which the message was being relayed. Placing it upon his head, the biometric security confirmed his identity with a quick retinal scan, and DNA analysis through the skin contact his head made with the snug helmet, and immediately the message was played, dull to the outside world, such was the capability of their technology.

Cassus smirked as Kylarn's voice played out. He should have guessed it was going to be his brother. The only other person it might have been was Corr, but he almost never phoned home, and certainly not in secrecy as this. This was textbook communication between the Fett brothers. A frown took over his features, creasing his brow and narrowing his eyes, as the name of their lost brother was spoken. Griff was an elusive sort, and had long been a thorn in their side. Despite their blood ties, Cassus and Kylarn had never much shared the opinions of Ky's twin, nor approved of his actions and methods. In truth, Cassus did not trust Griff, and never had done. For many years now, Griff had slipped off the radar, into silence. A blessed thing in Cassus' mind, but now word was filtering back of his enduring survival.

He understood and appreciated Kylarn's persistent endeavours to track his brother, the bond betwixt twins was notoriously strong and he could not even begin to fathom how that must pull on Ky's senses. Cassus had often wished his brother would give up on his infatuations, but knew it would be words falling on deaf ears. News of Griff was never good news, he knew from experience, and despite the ups and downs he had suffered with Kylarn, they were still close as brothers should be. Griff however was an exception to the rule, and this latest development was not something that pleased the Aliit'alor. He had, to coin a phrase, a bad feeling about this...*

:: Very well ner tat, march strong, and fight smart. Try not to get bug-juice on that new ship too! Don't worry about your tihaar, I'll be sure it gets well looked after... ::

*He spoke the last words and rubbed his stomach as though the action could be conveyed via audio alone. He did know, however, that Kylarn would understand his tone of voice, and the intent inlaid behind the words. In truth, he had wanted to warn his brother, to advise him to drop the search, to let this one slide and stay home. He knew better however, and despite the tingling in his gut of terrible outcomes yet to be played out, Cassus knew Kylarn would never wilfully sit idle, even in the face of impending doom. Headstrong, a trait that was imbued in the Fett-line blood.*

Re: When Everything Falls

*Sitting in the briefing chamber of The Gladiator still Ky drank some caff and sorted through intelligence, as the personal comm channel was patched to his terminal in the chamber he smirked as he listened to the words of his brother. Something felt off, but he could not place his finger on it. Within a few moments the last group of commandos would be entering for briefing and he would give them their detail. Clumsy rolled back into the room with a haste, whirring and beeping that he had passed the message along to Ashrah, they were simply waiting for a return message. Snail would be at the comm channels on the bridge until they received word.

As the men marched into the chamber and took their seats the commanders surrounded the terminal table that Ky sat at, taking long drinks from the cup and refilling it thereafter. Handing each of the twelve commanders a datapad as he leant up and spoke.*
"Each of you will take your squad and brief them yourselves. I will talk to them now, but once I am done break into squadrons and brief them on their duties."

*The sinking feeling in Ky's gut grew stronger as he stood from the terminal and received word from the bridge that Snail had gotten a return message from Ashrah and that The Gladiator was making it's way toward the hyperspace lane to jump to Mandalore. Standing for a moment he looked at the men silently, the feeling began to work it's way through his gut and into his mind quickly. Holding it back he began to speak.*

"When you get to the surface of the Bug Planet, one thing needs to be in your mind. Know what that is?" *Looking around at the men before him, including the commanders he smirked as none dared speak a word. Instead he yelled out.* "OYA!" *As the men started to smile and chant over and over the hunting cry of their people the sound resonated through the corridors of The Gladiator. One Hundred men shouting out OYA OYA OYA! Ky walked to the doorway and nodded to the commanders to begin their briefing, exiting the chamber and walking to the lift, his steward stood holding his beskar'gam, taking the armor into the lift with him he placed the plating on over his clothing and made his way to the bridge. As the blast doors slid apart at the bridge he held the buy'ce underneath his arm and walked to the comm channel asking Snail to replay the message. As he listened to the words spoken by Ashrah he frowned slightly and looked to the controls.* "Make the jump."

*The Gladiator moved into position in the hyperspace lane, control crew made designated calls out to the bridge that they were entering lightspeed in five seconds, they entered the sequence to head to Mandalore and were gone from the orbit of Concord Dawn.*

==Four Hours Later==

*The Gladiator-class Star Destroyer exited hyperspace travel just beyond orbit of Mandalore, Ky stood at the front of the bridge staring out the viewport at the world he used to sit at it's highest ranking, shaking his head at the thought of what once was. Knowing that Ashrah had said he would go on this mission free of charge because he owed something to Cassus, this didn't settle well with him, so he transferred two hundred thousand credits to the man's personal account anyways. Making sure that the transaction wouldn't be followed back to him he was satisfied and placed the small datapad back into the hands of the admiral who controlled The Gladiator. Looking down onto the planet as the destroyer moved toward orbit over Mandalore Ky placed his buy'ce over his head, the security systems ran their process, and then Ky blinked twice to open a comm channel to Ashrah personally this time.*

:: Ashrah, sending a shuttle to your location now. Once aboard The Gladiator meet me in the briefing chamber, my astromech will lead you there. :: *Closing the comm channel Ky turned to the admiral and removed his buy'ce. Speaking audibly for all of the crew surrounding them to hear.* "Send the shuttle to Ashrah's location. Once he's aboard Clumsy will bring him to me."

*Turning around from the men Ky walked back to the lift, his buy'ce underneath his arm as he entered the lift and turned to face them, they all stared at him knowing that there was something bothering him, but they said nothing.*

Re: When Everything Falls

Moments later a shuttle emerged from the forward hangar bay of The Gladiator and made for the surface of Mandalore, honing in to the location of Ashrah's transmission to the ship previously. On board was the astromech droid coined Clumsy, the black and gold painted droid whirred to the pilot as he waited to reach the surface.

Within the hour the shuttle landed and sat in wait for Ashrah to enter and be taken to The Gladiator and Kylran Vhett.

*Entering the briefing room that he had just seen emptied of commandos and their commanders Kylarn sat at the terminal, sifting through all of the intelligence that had been gathered concerning his twin brother, images depicting him using an old set of armor that Ky could only assume had been another mando'ade's beskar'gam that had been forgotten. Images of Griff standing in the streets of Mandalore when Ky was Mand'alor had given him the shakes. Placing his hand on the terminal his fingers shook with frustration, grasping the cup of caff that lay before him and taking a drink, waiting for the man that would lead the assault on the comms relay outpost on Yoggoy.*

Re: When Everything Falls

Ashrah watched the transport glide to a landing directly in front of him. Barely waiting for the landing ramp to lower, he was already on board. He looked down at the Astromech, the blackness of his Beskar'gam intimidating to most...but not a droid. His faceless visor stared almost through the little Droid

:: I'm here. Lets go then. ::

He turned and found himself a place to sit, and did so, waiting quietly and patiently for the transport to reach the gladiator...

Re: When Everything Falls

==Aboard the shuttle==

*At the moment Ashrah boarded the shuttle and spoke to Clumsy to get a move on the little astromech whirred at the man, in a sort of, "how rude" manner and then plugged into the terminal at the front of the cockpit. Sending message to The Gladiator that they were returning to the hangar bay. Within a matter of moments they would be back aboard The Gladiator and headed in the direction of the briefing room.*

==Briefing Chamber==

*Leaning back in the chair at his terminal Ky drank more caff, still going through the holo images from security feeds, some from Mandalore, others from Nal Hutta, some even from Concord Dawn. All of them showing images of who the intelligence division believed to be Griff, pretty hard not to see it as he looked exactly like Kylarn, minus the scar under the right eye that led down to Ky's jawbone. There he was, standing in plain sight and Ky had missed it...

Moments later emerging from the refresher Ky noticed the message from the shuttle, they would be arriving shortly with Ashrah. Typing out a message to the bridge Kylarn's fingers moved with deft speed to ensure the message arrived before the shuttle.*

Once the shuttle hits the hangar bay get moving to the lanes. Making no more stops, it's time.

*Pressing the sequence to send the message directly to Snail on the bridge Ky then sat back in his chair and picked up the datapad holding the intel on the comms facility of Yoggoy, the same datapad that he intended to give to Ashrah to lead his men.* "Osik. Why is it my family that always comes into trouble? Or causes it..."

*Continuing to look through the intel Ky continued forming his own plan, once the squadrons took over the comms system, all of them entering the facility through separate locations once they had finished the initial assault at the gates where the bugs would be amassed they would each play a significant role in the mission, if one failed, one had to pick up the slack. All vital to the plan that Ky was formulating now. The detention center was the easiest to access, once the communications were down they wouldn't be able to call for reinforcements to the detention center, and if all went well he would only be facing twenty bugs there, in separate groupings for their patrol.

As the time passed he waited for Ashrah to come along and meet with him, having never met the man this would be interesting none the less. Having heard a great deal through different sources he had decided this would be the necessary person to lead his commandos on the assault since he would be engaging from a different location altogether. The mission would be simple, all Ashrah had to do was pilot The Mantis over Yoggoy, provide cover fire for the commanders and their squadrons if a large collective of bugs came about. The improved weapons system could be run from the cockpit, with one gunner at the helm of all three cannons, if they so chose to be. Snail would be aboard The Mantis with him and thus providing the necessary feed to the gunner. The pilot would be one of the crew members already, whichever one Ashrah chose. But it wouldn't take too much to finish the job once they started. The Gladiator would bombard the facility before the commandos hit the ground, giving them a fair enough distraction to land a klik out from the facility. All of it seemed to piece together. He just needed to explain it to Ashrah.*

==Aboard the shuttle==

*With landing in the hangar bay Clumsy whirred to Ashrah as he sat in silence. Opening the ramp and rolling down quickly, leading the man toward the lift that would take them to the briefing chamber, he waited patiently for the man to enter the lift and then they would emerge just down the hall from Kylarn.*

==The Gladiator's Bridge==

*Receiving word from the briefing chamber Snail then gave the order to the crewmen on the bridge to plot course for Yoggoy. Watching from the viewport the Bothan spotted the shuttle entering the front hangar bay and nodded to the admiral in charge of the ship. As the shuttle boarded the destroyer moved into position, turning about and heading in the direction of the hyperspace lanes, prepping the engines and the hyperdrive as they moved. Snail looked out the viewport and pressed a button on the wrist gauntlet he wore, indicating he would be returning to The Mantis shortly to await the mission start. The other crew members had elected to stay aboard the refurbished vessel and conduct repairs to the hyperdrive, the weapons systems were due for an upgrade as well. Having worked through the last day they had finished their duties and were reading over the briefing intel Snail had sent to them from the bridge.

Nearly ten minutes later The Gladiator's engines flared, the brightness of the propulsion nearly blinding to the nearby traffic and she jumped into hyperspace, making course for the proper lane changes on the bridge Snail sat in the commanders chair just opposite the comms system.*

Re: When Everything Falls

Standing quickly upon landing, Ashrah adjusted the chain wrapped around his left arm to keep it secure, the 5 pound ball of beskar at the end resting just below his elbow, then 3 foot handle hanging close to his hand for easy grasping. Over his shoulder was sheathed his custom Blade, the mildly ornate hilt peeking just above his head. He had a blaster strapped to his right leg, and a shotgun mag locked beside his blade.

His dull black and well worn Beskar'gam seemed to more absorb light than reflect it, a trick of the pain he had used to help him stay stealthy when he needed to. the T-visor of his buy'ce was more reflective than the paint. On his right pauldron could be seen where the Death Watch symbol had been removed and repainted with a Ysalimar. He felt it fitting that the creature that exuded a Null-Force bubble should adorn his armour, as most Forcies found out the hard way.

He moved like a predator, even in the relative safety of the Gladiator, his whole life having had him trained to hunt, and kill. He stepped into the turbolift and nodded at the Astromech, indicating he was ready. Upon reaching the correct floor, he stepped out, and followed the little droid directly to Kylarn.

He stepped through the door, and turned his gaze on the man in front of him. He resembled Cassus in the way of siblings, and the big man nodded once to himself. There was no doubt they were family. He waited patiently for the other man to speak, arms folded behind his back in the "at ease" position

Re: When Everything Falls

*After what seemed like hours of waiting for the shuttle to return from the surface of Mandalore the message came through that they were landing in the hangar bay. Ky continued to sift through data as he waited the last few moments and started to drink caff again, as a steward had brought a fresh pot into the room for him a bit ago. The man came through the doors finally, the hiss snap of the dual blast doors was the indicator, then the whirring of Clumsy as they entered the room as well. Looking up at the large man, seemingly the same size as himself Ky ran his hand over his chin, the beard scraping at his fingers now as he hadn't shaved in a couple of weeks. Deciding to speak now rather than keep Ashrah waiting.*

"Come. Sit down and listen, have a cup of caff." *he said pausing a moment and pulling a second cup from the terminal's drawer, placing it opposite of himself and filling it from the pot. Giving Ashrah enough time to sit down.*

"I asked for you because I've heard that you can handle yourself in harsh situations... Don't be confused, this has nothing to do with my brother, he has no knowledge of your being aboard my ship." *having satisfied his need to speak that aloud he continued.* "We are en route to Yoggoy. My twin brother has resurfaced after another five years. I need you to go over these briefing notes..." *sliding the datapad across the table toward Ashrah if he were to sit.* "Three hundred troops, commandos actually. Two hundred assaulting one building from all directions, a very large communications array, these bugs have gotten smart... which is the problem." *pausing to take a drink of his caff Ky raised an eyebrow as he spotted the chain wrapping around Ashrah's arm, he continued to speak as he sat the cup down and refilled it.* "Another division of one hundred will be making an assault on a completely separate location, those notes are there, but you won't needed for that. Snail has control over those men." *Looking the man over as he stopped speaking for the moment he took another drink from the cup, slowly swallowed the warm liquid and then proceeded to continue.* "I've instructed my crew aboard m refurbished D5-Mantis to take you aboard the freighter after the orbital bombardment of several communication outposts. You will issue orders and keep an eye on the men from there. As well as feed me information about the men's progress from The Mantis." *not sure how the next part of this would be taken he paused and took the final drink from the cup of caff.* "I'm entering the detention facility, opposite side of the planet, should be dark when I arrive on the surface. I'll be alone, and the distraction should draw the main force from the detention center. They have something I need."

*To allow Ashrah time to digest the information Ky stopped speaking, leaning back in his chair after pouring himself another cup of caff, he longed for a bottle of Tihaar, but his senses needed to be sharp for the next day, Tihaar could wait until he had killed some bugs.*

Re: When Everything Falls

He sat down in a creak of armour and body suit, the chain making small noises as well. He reached up and removed his buy'ce. People rarely saw his face anymore. Since he had become a mando, he almost exclusively wore his armor and buy'ce. His long dead brother Jorsar new what he looked like. As did Kaine, and a few others. He revealed sandy blonde hair matted to his head, kept relatively short. His eyes were a startling green, almost seeming to glow in the light. His face was scarred and lined, for all that he was 32 years old. Had he removed his Beskar'gam, he would be covered in scars and pock marks from feeding tubes and genetic manipulation.

He was only 6 feet tall, and was around 215 pounds, but he carried himself like he was a giant. The years of training and genetic manipulation from the Arkanian Geneticists ingrained in his head the way he carried himself. It was why he fit in so well with the Supercommandos. He turned his gaze first to Kylarn, then the kaf, then the data pad. He nodded to him once, took a sip of the Kaf, then skimmed through the Data Pad. He listen to Ky speak the entire time, then looked up and arched an eyebrow at the man when he said he was going in alone

"That sounds like something I would do. Just try not to get yourself killed. Your brother already hates me, and I would hate him to blame me for your death..."

He paused a moment then took another sip of the Kaf. He placed the cup gently on the desk then spoke once more, his voice firm and sure

"I wont need that many troops. Bugs is Bugs. The go splat like everything else we point a blaster at. Give me 50 Supercommandos and some explosives. You will get your distraction. That I promise."

He slid the data pad back across to Kylarn, having commited it to memory. Another 'gift' of the men who had grown him....

Re: When Everything Falls

*Watching Ashrah as he spoke Ky picked up on several things about this man, he obviously had seen his fair share of battle, more than what was necessary he was certain but a worthy mando'ade none the less, whatever grievances there were between Ashrah and Cassus were not a concern to Ky at this moment, whether or not they could be fixed was between the two of them, and had not a thing to do with the mission at hand so he chose to not speak of them.*

"You were asked here to lead the assault, but not from the ground." *Continuing to stare at Ashrah as he placed the datapad down Ky raised an eyebrow and took another drink of the caff.* "I assume you understand the mission well enough then?"

*Placing the cup down onto the terminal's surface Ky leaned back and crossed his arms, wishing he could understand the complexities that this mando'ade obviously held secret. Pondering the man's words about only needing fifty supercommandos to break siege on the planet's surface Ky chuckled to himself about the somewhat arrogant stance, he had been that way at one time, and understood the invincible feelings. He had those himself, especially concerning this mission.*

"If you feel that is not something you can do then you are free to not accept. We can stop in the outer rim still, it takes just one command." *Placing his hand over the terminal's controls he raised his eyebrow again and waited for Ashrah to respond to this, if he wanted to leave he was welcome to, and Ky would conduct the mission alone. Although he had called upon this man for a reason, he silently hoped that he would accept the mission as it stood, but was open to Ashrah on the ground as well to an extent. He wanted the mission to go as planned, but sometimes changes were necessary as well.*

Re: When Everything Falls

He sat silent for a moment, looking Kylarn directly in the eyes, his gaze never wavering, not blinking, and barely breathing. He kept this gaze as he spoke to the man across from him

"Here's the thing. I don't do 'lead from behind'. It makes the men think I am better than they are. That is not something I want anyone to think, ever. Unless of course you are a Forcie...."

his mouth quirked into a sarcastic grin at the last part of his sentence. He leaned back in the chair, and propped his boots up on Kylarns desk, crossing his arms over his chest as he did

"You want a distraction, I will give you a distraction. That I can promise. But I wont do it from a ships bridge, nor the back of the lines. Your call"

Re: When Everything Falls

*Kylarn held the man's stare and thought for a few moments, this would be different than he had planned but perhaps it would be for the best. Leaning forward and looking directly into Ashrah's eyes Ky spoke again. With a commanding tone that would more than likely bring them to fists in any other circumstance.*

"Just make sure you don't get them all killed."

*Standing from the desk that they both occupied chairs at Ky moved toward the doorway of the large briefing chamber and turned around once more to speak with Ashrah before he left to prepare.*

"Go with honor vode. Bring no less to the battlefield than you expect and they will listen to your commands."

*Without allowing Ashrah to respond to his words Kylarn exited toward his own chambers, he needed to prepare for his own mission, to go over the tactical layouts and to ensure that his weapons were in working condition. Moving along the passageway Ky ignored the salutes of the men that surrounded him as he walked, he did not even notice them. The dull feeling that something was amiss kept creeping into his stomach, something was wrong.

An hour later The Gladiator emerged from hyperspace and word came through to the chambers Kylarn stood in, looking out the viewport at Yoggoy and the memories faded, his mind swept into battle mode and Kylarn slipped on his buy'ce, with a flutter of blinks he opened the comm channel that would broadcast to the entire ship and began to speak.*

:: Voden. It is time. Prepare your weapons, man your stations, and more importantly.... ::

*Kylarn paused as the trademark smirk stretched across his face beneath the buy'ce before he spoke one last time.*

:: OYA! ::

*After he had spoken to the men Ky walked to the far wall of his chambers and began placing his weapons where he wished them to be, the Mandalorian Slugthrowers were placed tightly into the holsters at his hips, and then two blasters at the inside chest holstersjust at his ribs for easy access. Beneath the kama he placed a pouch that held six thermal detonators and then sheathed his beskads underneath them as well. A small sheathing strap around his arm contained six phrik daggers that were meant for very close combat or for throwing in the right circumstances. Lastly but not least he picked up his sniper rifle that he had purchased not long ago, the weapon was fine, and it had cost him a good deal of credits, but it had proven worthy. The scope was magnificent, the bolts that emitted were non-visible to the naked eye and caught most targets unaware. His own modification of a silencing barrel had proven to give him the advantage in marksmanship, being able to remove multiple targets and yet remain at the same location. Nothing was spared for his favorite weapon.

Moments later Ky entered the turbolift and made way for the hangar, the dual durasteel doors opened with a hiss and he emerged into the hangar looking at the soldiers boarding their transports to the surface, he would be piloted down and left on his own while the other men followed the instructions of Ashrah on the ground. The Gladiator would provide orbital bombardment in the necessary places when ordered from Ashrah as well.

Ky walked aboard the shuttle and the ramp lifted behind him, rather than speaking he made a fist and pounded on the hull twice to signal the pilot he was ready to leave. Within a short time he would be on the surface of Yoggoy and facing the last battle he wanted to see. After this he wanted nothing more than to tend to the ranch and not see another war, although he was sure war was inevitable he could still dream.*
